The bag was even better than description stated..I love vintage bags and this was perfect, even arrived 2 days early..

My item had a rip in it.

I bought a watch that was described as "excellent condition" but was damaged and not working properly when it arrived. Repair cost estimate from the maker was $500+ depending on what they found and it would take weeks to send off to the maker and inspect. RealReal offered me a 15% discount which would barely cover half the repair cost or up to 25% of total purchase cost depending on the total repairs which would take weeks. I opted just to return. These are poor options when dealing with $$$ watches. I totally question their initial inspection process and what their standards are for "excellent condition"

The handbag I purchased was exactly what the listing said it was. No negative surprises. It’s a beautiful bag and so soft. It came in a RealReal cover bag. I feel confident to order from them again. Thanks for a great shopping experience.

Mint condition retired ring at a great price!

Items take too long to go live on website. I dropped off many things in early June, six weeks later and they are still not live. They changed the drop off date to later so it looks like it hasn't been there long. I've asked about them twice to see what the hold up is with no luck. Also, when asking them to change a description for an item before it goes live, it takes a very long time for them to do this and could delay the listing for weeks. If you have items that are seasonal, this could dramatically reduce your chances of selling the item.

I was disappointed with the shoe, which looked very worn out. At least they would have cleaned it to a reasonable condition and not sent a very dirty shoe.

The dress I received is not authentic... or it's a prototype. I ordered the actual dress from Staud to compare because I was shocked at how sheer and poor quality the dress I received from Real Real was. Two completely different dresses! I will never order from Real Real again, there is no quality control!

They lost my consignment, and it’s now been 2 months and I still haven’t been paid for it. Every time I send an email trying to get more information/trying to get paid back for my lost item they say the same exact thing which is basically “we are sorry please wait 3-5 days for a resolution” and it’s just the same cycle over and over again.

So happy I found this company!
