Second time around trying to sign…

Second time around trying to sign consent forms, still not able to continue past first sheet.
Also in identity confirmation, I couldn't be confirmed because they had the right type of car, but my color was not listed. Have to confirm throughmail, 3 day process....

Hi Deborah, If you run into any issues related to forms, please reach out to your provider directly as at times they mark fields on the form as required and if you try to submit it, it wont allow you till you have all required info entered. However you can always click on Save and complete later. I am not sure what you meant by a car. It seems specific to the form your provider had for you. My advice is to reach out to the provider if you have any issues with forms. You can always reach out to our support. I haven't seen any tickets to us about your reported issue but feel free to reach out to us at any point. We're here to help!

Excellent Customer Service

This platform meets almost all of my needs as an individual and couples therapist. There are sometime features that are not intuitive or easily figured out, but the customer service is AMAZING. They respond very promptly (usually within an hour) and EVERY issue or question I have had, they have had a solution to. Great product and customer service!

Theraplatform is the best EMR system for Speech Language Pathologists and Counselors

Theraplatform is the best EMR system for a therapist who has no prior experience. It has expansion features, which you can easily build into your account.
I have been using Theraplatform as a sole provider for a caseload of approximately 25 clients. It is intuitive, color-coded and the customer support is amazing. Daniel Sanchez has provided me guidance and has answered my questions several times, in a calm, professional manner.
The cost is very affordable. You get a free 30 day trial membership. There is so much versatility for scheduling, session notes, invoicing, and billing. You can generate Superbills, link email reminders to clients, etc.
I have been using Theraplatform for about 8 months. You will probably love it too!

If you do not want to be reimbursed by Medicaid, then this is the software for you!

Since I began billing Medicaid, I have not received any income. For over 3 months I have spent my evenings on zooms and calls with support as they try to “fix” the errors that I continued to get. Still no resolution. To be seeing clients for so many months and not receive payment is very frustrating. Then to pay for a software that is supposed to simplify my billing is just absurd. I reached out to the co-founder and billing individual and did not receive a response. Just complete disappointment overall. It appears that they have never dealt with my states Medicaid before so were unsure how to set it up properly on the back end? If they would have just owned up to that and reached out directly to the states Medicaid department to get those answers I would have been paid months ago and would have been a happy customer.
Btw, I’m the Office Manager for the company who had the above issues so please do not reply and pretend you do not have any tickets or communication. Daniel has spoken to us just about daily and made us aware last evening you will not be refunding any money. Great customer service and way to stand behind your product. Bravo!

Thank you for submitting your feedback and we’re sorry to hear that insurance declined payments. We understand that this is a very stressful situation for you but unfortunately, we’re not able to provide 9-month refund that you requested. Although we make exceptions to our refund policy, in your case our management and co-founder were not willing to provide the refund because it is beyond EHR’s control when claims are denied; our software was working properly, and our customer support specialist was going above and beyond. Initially your claims were rejected because wrong modifier was entered and the supervisor DQ in box 11 in addition to the rendering provider in box 24 j was entered but it should not. These rejections are all documented on our software. Despite us not providing assisted billing services, our customer support specialist assisted you with rejected claims and showed you how to fix the claims. The claims were accepted but returned by insurance as deductible. Meaning, the insurance denied payment. We really wanted you to get paid for your services and we offered to hop with you on the call with insurance. Another recommendation we shared with you was to consider hiring a biller. They are helpful and can eliminate pain associated with insurance billing. We hope that you will get paid by insurance.

Shady billing practices

Shady billing practices due to the fact that they use Stripe. I began using the software in July which became my permanent billing date. I have contracted practitioners that are on the calendar year starting in Jan and staying until Dec. When I add a practitioner in Jan, they do not bill me until July at which time they will charge me 1.5 years (six months since Jan and then from July to July). If a practitioner leaves in Dec, I can cancel them but I won't get the additional prepaid 6 months applied until the following July. Essentially, I have to pay for 6 months extra that doesn't get applied back to my account for a year. I refuse to use Stripe feature in the software because they charge too much. I wish TheraPlatform would allow for other services besides Stripe.

Note: I originally posted this with a rating of one star because I wasn't able to get a firm answer of how much I was being charged. This part was resolved but the Stripe limitations still exist, so I moved the rating to three stars.

Expensive, Difficult to Navigate, No (findable) Support

Expensive, hard to use, clients can't access it on their phones. I'm a tech-savvy person and their system is way too complicated to navigate.

Can't find a basic place to search for answers to what should be basic questions (like a ZenDesk page or something?) and nowhere to ask for help.

Just spent 30 minutes trying to figure out how to print a treatment plan--and I still can't figure it out. I am really starting to understand how my grandma feels when she tries to navigate an iPhone. Just totally lost.

You have to watch videos that don't apply to your questions since there is no written documentation about the software. I could go on and on. Just use Google Meet and a Word doc. Save yourself the hassle.

One can contact us on our main page and we have a visible green button help present on the platform too for both email and live support. I have so many wonderful things to say…

I have so many wonderful things to say about TheraPlatform. I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor who just launched my own practice. The most daunting task for me was thinking of a company that offers a-z with regards to seeing your Clients on their platform, having the clients able to schedule appointments, acceot credit card payments, do billing, and much more. I am not the most technically savvy individual and a gentlemen named Daniel knew I was struggling and came to the rescue. He helped me literally with everything I need to get started. He was so kind and so patient by assisting me to even get things properly done in my computer. I am so happy, relieved, and excited. I am going with TheraPlatform for sure to handle all of my needs. Last but not least their pricing is awesome. This company does the most out of all platforms I have seen and they do it for the lowest cost. If you are debating if you should take the plunge or not take it you wont regret it. Thank you TheraPlatform!!!!

Solid

Overall, I am very happy with Theraplatform, but I have only used their EHR, to be fair. They have improved accessibility to their technical staff (not limited to just chat and emails anymore- which drove me nuts in their beginning stages) and this has made using the EHR platform so much better! Staff has always been patient and courteous. They respond quickly to concerns.

I am a new subscriber and I love TheraPlatform's ease of use.

Comment: I am a new subscriber and just getting to know all of the features. I did not know what a BAA was and it would have been nice to have an info box describing it. I eventually found out that I needed to type in my business name and my name and sign it.

It might be nice to have a checklist of what you need to do once you sign up (like a welcome page with signing the BAA, making a referral link, setting up Stripe etc.) You sort of have that on the initial invoice page but there are no directions or little pop up boxes for instructions.)
I do like the way you have organized things and I love the video tutorials!! I have watched several of them over and over. I love how you now organized them by category as it makes them so much easier to find. I love how you are adding new features all the time and letting us know what those features are.
I am very pleased with your awesome customer service support! They reached out to me several times to make sure I knew that help was available if I needed it. Every email that I sent was responded to by the next day or earlier! I was very impressed with the 30 day free trial. It let me practice with one of my clients. I still don't have the whole client portal thing figured out. I also wanted to give a receipt to my client (she pays in cash on the day of therapy) but I am just printing out invoices and writing "paid in full" in the note. I have learned how to send them to her electronically.
I have been very pleased so far with the ease of TheraPlatform that I recommended it to my friend also. I know there is a bit of a learning curve, but you definitely are providing all of the necessary help I need to use your product. I am so glad that I purchased this as it is so much easier than doing paper and pencil documentation. Thank you!!

I really enjoy TheraPlatform

I really enjoy TheraPlatform. It has pretty much everything I need as an adult speech therapy provider. The platform has room for improvement, but I really like how easy tech support is and that they listen to their clients. Typically when a complaint is made or a request for a new feature is mentioned, it goes up the pipe line and usually integrated into the already great system.

Better than SimplePractice for the value!

I spent a lot of time searching for the "right" EMR. TheraPlatform has been the best of all worlds! Reasonably priced, effective HIPAA compliant teletherapy, included materials if desired, intuitive charting options, and available in-system billing through stripe. Currently I'm taking advantage of the systems ability to generate invoices and Superbills automatically. This EMR is really helping me to run my speech pathology practice more smoothly!

My experience with Theraplatform has changed how I feel about telehealth......

My experience with Theraplatform has been very positive. Their customer service is outstanding. They will answer questions within hours of me asking them. I have even had Zoom calls with representatives when I was confused about a feature. The platform works incredibly well for my needs and offers things that other therapy platforms don't, like the white board and resource sharing. I'm very happy with my purchase of Theraplatform.

Theraplatform is helpful and staff are great.

The support staff at Theraplatform is very responsive. Anytime I have had difficulty with anything on the program the support staff has responded within a day to help me solve the problem. The staff is always professional and courteous. The people who design the program also take feedback seriously about ways to improve the responsiveness of the software.

Transitioned to new EHR and Daniel is GREAT!

Ive transitioned to this EHR and so far it has been great. Some difficulties I encountered are when I need support as I become more used to the EHR. Video sessions, claims, appointments, making my own templates, all has been really great. Almost too good, I’m scared that there’s a catch to this! :)

Customer service:
Daniel is very amazing, patient and helpful He is extremely helpful and gets me to the point to get what I need done without the hassle. Daniel is the type of person that would make anyone want to stay with such company.
