Review summary

Created with AI, based on recent reviews

Considering 59 reviews, most reviewers were unhappy with their experience overall. Many customers expressed dissatisfaction with their orders, frequently reporting that items never arrived or were significantly delayed. The refund process was also a major point of contention, with numerous people struggling to receive their money back, often encountering significant difficulties in obtaining their money back. Furthermore, customer service was consistently described as non-existent or unhelpful, with many emails and messages going unanswered. While some people were satisfied with the speedy dispatch and delivery of their orders, and a few appreciated the quality and appearance of certain products, a minority of people were dissatisfied with product sizing, finding items to be inaccurate or inconsistent with descriptions.

Oh bugger i wish i had seen this before i lost over £250 to this company. Its been weeks now and no help just waiting for my refund. Everyone who reads this who is being scammed lets all write/call into trading standards and get this company held liable, also we can report the brand to ASOS to deplatform their brand as they are scamming people. Soooo so bad!

It's been over a week since my order

It's been over a week since my order. I have messaged this company on all forms of social media where they regularly post, to be regularly ignored. No responses, yet they still continue to post. I've had absolutely no communication from the company other than an automated response saying how long processing of orders takes. 7-10 working days? Then why have I paid for 2 day delivery? And why is this not crystal clear on the website?
Imagine have the absolute brass neck to charge £80 for jeans and then taking two weeks to process and order and 10 days to post out? I've contacted clearpay to tell them I haven't received my order nor had any kind of verification of order so hopefully they will sort it out and I never have to deal with this absolute shambles of a company ever again.

Wish I saw these reviews before I bought! Paid for tracking shipping to return a hoodie that came way too big and a month a half later still no refund. Ragged Priest definitely take advantage of people returning items.... Be warned.

Frustrating waste of time

Ordered and paid for a jumper 10 days ago. At that point I received an order confirmation that does not give any details about delivery. No communication since. I feel like I may have been scammed.

Update- I chased up my order and received a rather unclear explanation about it having been held in the depot after maybe having been lost or damaged in transit. The order was automatically cancelled and on a positive note, I have now got a refund. The ubiquitous Sam at Ragged Priest customer service also offered me a 10% discount if I wanted to reorder the item. I don’t have any confidence in Ragged Priest to fulfil any order I place so much as I liked the thing I was trying to buy, I have no intention of placing any further orders with them.

they’ll do whatever they can get away with tbh.

I ordered a skirt off them, the skirt goes missing, I contact them weeks later asking what’s happening with the skirt and they admit it’s lost and that they will send another one. I say no need to send another one, I don’t want it anymore, just refund me. They ignore my emails, skirt gets delivered, I now have to pay postage fees to return it as they don’t offer return services and now it’s been two weeks since I returned it and no refund. It’s giving they’ll do whatever they can get away with tbh.

NO RETURNS TEAM/SCAMMERS

Wish I could give it 0. There’s no return team just an automated message and after that you’ll get another one but from fake ‘Sam’. So if you do send something back good luck with getting your money back!
they’re also taking advantage of the DPD update to get away with it. Provided Klarna with my tracking details and The Ragged Priest have tried to claim that it’s invalid despite my DPD driver taking a picture of it at their warehouse. Just hope if you do have your parcel, pray that it fits.
Update! It’s been almost two months and I’ve still not received a refund. I get a different answer every time I email them

Really poor experience..

Really poor experience... Ordered a dress for my gf. The sizing guide said the model was 5'9, my gf is 5'10 and more muscular than the model, but we ordered the same size as she likes her clothes tight. The dress came and its 1-2 sizes too big, meaning the size guide wasn't at all accurate.

Then had to return at my own cost, which is where the fun really began. Contacted them to ask whether they received it, to which they said no. "That's funny", I thought, as the tracking says it was delievered. They then tell me returns can take a week to log after receipt - why on Earth it would take a week to register a return is beyond me, they must be very busy!! I then ask for an update, to which they respond asking for the tracking for a second time, then they say the return must've been signed for by another company and I have to contact Royal Mail for more info!

Shambles. As others have said, nice clothes that are completely let down by the awful customer experience. Unlikely to bother again.

My first purchase

This was my first purchase and I am very satisfied with both - the product and the speed of delivery (to Poland)!

Terrible customer service

So like the other reviews I've had massive problems with customer service and delivery. Ordered something 6th Feb, it's now the 25th and I've not received it and they have only provided copy/paste answers to my multiple emails. It appears to be a dpd issue - looks like they lost it, but I need RP to resolve. I've ordered other things without issue so seems like if you're lucky they get to you, but I need to return some stuff and I'm now really worried about getting my money back.

Edit: sure enough I returned 2 items and 6 weeks later no sign of a refund. They are claiming a backlog from Christmas returns (it is currently mid April). DO NOT BUY FROM THEM, TOTAL SCAM

Order non-arrival and no refund

Probably one of the worst experiences I have ever had purchasing from a streetwear UK brand.
I urge anyone who reads this review and all the other one star reviews to really consider ordering from them as they feel and act like a SCAMMER company.
I have ordered 5 items of clothing on January 25th and since then I have received nothing but empty promises about my order arriving (for context today is Feb 19 and I still do not have any updates on my order). I received tracking info from DPD, however, when I got in contact with them they never actually received my parcel through their system and only received the information from the warehouse.
The person from customer service I have been inn contact with is Sam, and in the beginning the conversations were okay until he started ignoring my emails and instagram messages. This is unacceptable as this is a problem the brand has created and now they are refusing to solve it.
I sent multiple emails and messages with PROOF that my order NEVER arrived, that I NEVER received any proper tracking info and that DPD NEVER received my order in the first place. What Sam proceeded to do is tell me that my order has been delivered to my safe place and sent me my own tracking info which DOES NOT SAY THAT MY ORDER HAS ARRIVED.
I sent them a lengthy email yesterday requesting a full refund if the clothes do not arrive by the end of this week and if I do not hear anything back I am really considering to take some form of legal action.
It is absolutely absurd scamming people and especially students out of their money. Right now I am out £145 and still have no clothes or items to show for it.
I am beyond disgusted at how this situation has been handled and I think the cherry on top of this is that The Ragged Priest has NO formal complaint procedure that customers can follow in case they are in a similar situation.
I do hope that The Ragged Priest reads this review and that other people read and see this and do not order from them because at the end of the day, £145 is too much money and there are other companies who excel in areas where this brand lack, such as customer service, complaints etc.

Really poor returns

I love The Ragged Priest clothing and have ordered bits and pieces when I can afford them. However, their returns system is really really poor. I have had two ‘exact’ responses from them regarding my return which I suspect is AI or ‘Sam’ has a template they bung out each time they receive an email regarding a return. My return sent 24 hour tracked was received over a week ago and I have had no response about it being received or the elusive refund. It’s poor practice and honestly it’s a shame. If you have a returns policy of 14 days, then you need to acknowledge when goods have been returned and then refund within those 14 days or change your policy.

Astonishingly bad experience

Astonishingly bad experience from start to finish. Ordered some clothes over 4 weeks ago now. 2 weeks of silence - no tracking, no response to emails. I emailed again requesting cancellation of the order before dispatch. Then receive a copy and paste email response about system errors and staff shortages, all the while they are deleting comments off all social media and ignoring customer emails. They are breaking consumer rights left right and center, completely ignored my multiple requests to cancel, eventually shipping the order 4 weeks later. Incredibly sly customer service, complete lack of response until it benefits them. The second it was actually delivered, they suddenly emailed me—after ignoring me for days—to inform me my payment that I disputed would be charged. Clearly, they only care when they’re about to get paid! When it arrived, items are missing and I now have to unfairly pay to return them when I requested to cancel numerous times and they admitted fault and failed to find a resolution. Have disputed with Klarna and reported them to trading standards as they are clearly breaking Consumer Rights. Avoid buying from them unless you want your money taken for nothing. Terrible company, their business practices are completely unethical

no customer service.

I received a jumper that wasnt as long as advertised- I returned it for a refund - postage at my own expense ( which is not ok at all)- one week later the parcel arrived back at my house.
I contacted the company and have received no response.
I am very unimpressed and will never buy from them again and would advise people to avoid them.

Great service given the situation

Working in customer service for a very a long time, I know how hard it is to deal with an influx of unhappy customers.
I placed an order originally in the middle of January and was surprised there was no tracking info or follow up emails regarding my purchase after a week. So I emailed the customer service team who did take a few days to reply but Sam, the advisor who responded to my email, was very honest and open with about the situation. They had sickness in the team and a system error meaning my order didn’t process correctly through the system. She reassured me that if there was any update she would let me know as soon as they knew. They were waiting on all tracking information from their warehouse and when she had that info she sent it to me straight away. Eventually my order did arrive about two weeks after the original purchase date.
I can imagine this has been a massively stressful time for the whole team at The Ragged Priest.
I have seen comments on their socials calling them scammers and to never buy from them because they steal your money and that is simply not the case.
I’ve been shopping with them for years and this is the first hiccup I’ve ever experienced and even then it was dealt with professionally.
I would just implore people to shop with patience and kindness. I can understand the frustration but when there is only so much a company can do for you because they are having massive system errors then you have to accept it.
I’d just like to say thank you again to Sam and the team for persevering during this tough situation.

Avoid, avoid, avoid

Continuing with the theme of an awful company to deal with. Returned a top for an exchange on 28th December and still waiting. Finally got a confirmation on 31st of January to say it had been shipped but 12 days later no sign of it and no response to my numerous emails. The one and only time I will ever deal with this company. Avoid at all costs.

sly company

i would like to think i’m quite a reasonable person. i will give companies the benefit of the doubt on a lot of occasions and 9/10 situations organically sort themselves out with a resolution that helps both the customer and the company. however, my patience with ragged priest has ran dry and this is coming from a previous happy customer.

i placed an order on a fur coat and had the money prepared to taken out, but never received a confirmation email. i messaged the company on instagram and email them and only got one response where they asked me for more details. since then, ive found out they’ve silently cancelled the order without my knowledge and now the size i had ordered had sold out. honestly, im never going to be ordering from this company again. i’ve had issues with a lack of communication from this company for a while now but this is my last straw. the complete lack of transparency is astounding, really, and i don’t recommend this experience to anybody.
