Good quality dresses but...

The dresses are a lovely material and good quality, however the communication is poor and dispatch times are slow and exceed the dispatch day you select at the time of purchase. Bare this in mind if you wedding is 5 months or less when purchasing the dresses. After chasing up my order I was told on different occasions it would be dispatched within a matter of days but it never was and delivery took a lot longer than I anticipated. I ordered my dress 28/04/22 with a chosen dispatch date of 03/06/23 and the dress was shipped 30/06/22. Overall, just allow plenty of time when ordering and expect slow replies from seller.

Hello Abbi,
I hope your well and thankyou for your review.
Obviously this is almost a year on from the dresses being delivered and appreiciate this time last year i had overwhelmed myself with orders and orders were out later than expected, communication was slow.

A year later, I do now take on less orders and have more a realistic time frame for orders and not being overwhelmed which has helped massively with orders and being able to answer emails/messages

i hope you had a wonderful wedding and i am glad you love the dresses and apologise for the delay back then

I ordered samples a month ago and still never received them. Owner claims she sent them out twice, but doesn't respond to emails about a tracking number. Still haven't received a refund. Happy I found this out now that they are not a reliable company before having my entire wedding party order from them.

Question the legitimacy of the company

Ordered dresses in October 2022. Now in January and we are not convinced they have been sent or even worked on. We have chased countless times. Recently we were informed they would provide us with a tracking number but have also failed to do this. We have chased again and are now not replying. Dismal service. Unnecessary stress added to planning a wedding.

Hello Francis,
I have only just signed up to trust pilot and seen your review here. We don't have your name on any orders, If you could send an email to amy@theprettyinfinity.co.uk with your order number we can look into this and make sure this has been sorted.
Thankyou

All throughout planning my wedding the…

All throughout planning my wedding the process has been smooth until I decided to order my bridesmaid dresses from The Pretty Inifnity… the original process was smooth in terms of ordering the samples and the 8 bridesmaid dresses we needed. I ordered in June 2022 and the lesd time was 5-9 weeks so should have received them by the very latest mid august. I emailed Amy at the end of August and asked for an update and she said that the dresses would be dispatched on the 2nd of September. The 2nd of September came and went and a week later I emailed her for an update. She ignored this and when I saw reviews on her Facebook and Etsy that were awful I panicked and messaged her again. She finally replied and said they would be dispatched the next day for delivery. When the tracking came through to me it transpired that she put the wrong address on the parcel! I emailed her to sort it and was told it was and it still went to the wrong address meaning that I then had to go and retrieve them however only one box was delivered when there should have been two! What makes me laugh is she said she got the billing address and the postal address mixed up but the address she sent them to was neither of those addresses. I got on to her and she finally managed to get the second packages sent to the right address a week later. Needless to say it was one of the most stressful experiences of my life. It’s absolutely not okay the lack of communication from her and the fact that she seems to consistently be late with orders. I understand that it’s an independent business but if she cannot fulfil her orders in a timely manner she shouldn’t do it! We spent nearly £500 on this order and I expect much better service. The only saving grace is that the dresses are gorgeous and made well but it’s certainly not worth the stress, I absolutely would not recommend.

Hello Josh, (I have just signed up to trust pilot)
I am sorry for the problems with the communication and delays. I was at this time over whelmed and this affected communication and lead times which is why last year I closed my shop for a good while to catch up. I have now got a much better system in place and not taking on as many orders than I can do.

I hope you have a wonderful wedding and wish you all the best

Dresses not even made

We ordered from Amy on the 22nd July. We had emailed a week earlier asking if the dresses would arrive in time for the wedding which Amy replied to quickly and said she could do this. We placed an order for 2 dresses, costing £130. Due to be dispatched on the 19th august.

A day after I placed the order I received a personal email thanking us for the order and confirming the dresses were down to be made and dispatched on time. We thought this was a really nice touch from Amy.

On the 23rd August I emailed Amy asking for confirmation our dresses had been sent. She replied quickly saying they had been and I should receive tracking info from royal mail but she would also forward it to me. Then I heard nothing. I emailed again on the Friday, but with it being bank Holiday I didn't expect a reply. I had received no tracking info from Amy or royal mail. I then emailed Amy again on the Tuesday after bank holiday and heard nothing. I sent messages to both her Instagram and Facebook pages.

Later on in the day my sister in law (the bride) found two reveiws on here, and several comments on her instagram asking for order updates
saying not to order and reasons to stay away. Obviously at this time we started to panic. The bride then emailed Amy threatening trading standards. We also messeged her friend Helen on instagram who helps out with her orders. Amy was very quick to respond after the trading standards threat and actually told us that the dresses hadn't even been made! 11 days after she emailed me saying they had been sent out!

Amy did apologise for the 'mix up' and offered a refund or said she could have the dresses to us by the end of the week. She did admit that this has happened several times before.

She said she had received no emails from me since the order and had emailed me to say the tulle that was going over our dresses had been delayed and had apparently arrived that same day. I had received nothing from Amy to say there was delays in material and if there was delays why was I told that the dresses had been dispatched?!

We had no choice but to hope the dresses did arrive in time as the wedding is the 10th September. Luckily this was pushed back from a date in August otherwise we would have had nothing.

After having no communication at all on our dresses Amy did then respond to every email we sent regarding the dresses. The dresses were made by the Wednesday evening and were delivered to us on the Saturday afternoon, just in time for our only dress try on before the wedding.

Amy has never messeged to ask if the dressed arrived okay. You would expect a quick email to ask if they had arrived okay considering the mess up that was made.

The dresses arrived and they are amazing. We can not fault anything about the dresses, the material is lovely and the stitching is perfect. They fit perfectly and we are looking forward to wearing them.

Amy massively let's herself down on the communication side. To make so many mix ups when it's a bussiness making bridesmaids dresses is a huge problem. It's a shame we feel like we can't recommend her to other people as the dressed are honeslty so perfect. We decided to buy from Amy as we wanted to support a small bussiness but unfortunately we regret it as it caused to much stress right before the wedding.

If this was just a reveiw for the dresses it would be 5 star. Definitely think twice before ordering.

Reasons not to order

Reasons not to order from The Pretty Infinity
🚫 Order placed Feb 7th, was told would be dispatched March 17th, actually arrived May 21st (almost 9 weeks late)
🚫 Between March and May I had to send MULTIPLE emails for updates, often sending up to 3 before getting a response
🚫Had to repeatedly ask for a tracking number and it actually transpired the dresses had not been sent when she said
🚫 A dress was missing and I was told it would be sorted ASAP, was told this was sent on May 31st
🚫 Again had to ask for a tracking number, was sent a reference number and it had only been sent signed for (royal mail only cover up to £50 worth of goods for signed for items)
🚫 After 2 weeks (June 15th) of having to constantly ask where my order was, Amy stopped replying, so I messaged her mate Helen and rang Royal Mail myself, royal mail told me the parcel wasn't even in the system 🙄
🚫 Relayed this info to Helen and was then told I had been given the wrong reference number and given a new one, after having to ask for it
🚫 New reference entered and said item had been dropped at post office on June 14th - not May 31st as I had been told
🚫 June 15th I check the royal mail app and says items delivered, I checked the proof of delivery (I'd requested the missing dress be sent directly to my bridesmaid as she lives 2hrs from me and knew she wasn't home this day so thought I'd check which neighbour it was with)
🚫 Parcel has actually been delivered somewhere near Birmingham, my bridesmaid lives in Hertfordshire
🚫 Messaged Helen and Amy basically asking what on earth is going on, Amy chose to ignore my messages, both on WhatsApp and Facebook, Helen did reply (Amy if you read this, you've got a good friend in Helen, cause I certainly wouldn't be happy if I was having to sort my mates business in this way!)
🚫 Finally got the correct tracking number and was able to see the dress had finally arrived
🚫Amy guaranteed all dresses would be with me by mid May, so I ordered a back up dress for the girls to try just in case, because it took so long for the 5th one to arrive, I had to keep said back up dress in case, as a result I now can't send it back so I'm a further £60 out of pocket

As lovely as these dresses are, it really is not worth the hassle!

I do not recommend getting your bridesmaids dresses from this company. Although reasonably priced, it is better to have a reliable service. I would have paid more for less stress.
Items did not arrive together or on time. After several attempts to contact the owner (which were ignored) she eventually fulfilled the order after I made an official complaint. Even claiming she had posted the order (which from reviews on Facebook seemed like a usual excuse to delay your concerns but was untrue).
I bought additional dresses in the meantime as I no longer believed the order would be fulfilled.
Very disappointing service.
