Don't even think about buying anything. I impulsively bought some Barton 'genuine leather' shoes. Big mistake. Absolute garbage fit only for the dustbin. Sized wrongly, wafer thin sole, etc etc. I sought a refund and after loads of prevaricating emails offering all sorts of nonsense I took up a dispute via PayPal. God bless PayPal, a bit of a palaver but fairly quickly decided "in my favour" and issued a full £44 refund . Read the genuine trust pilot reviews before clicking on 'the ponty' . If I could give minus 5 stars I would.

DON'T BE FOOLED BY THE PICTURE, it makes the quality look top rate trust me they aren't the soles look like they are made from recycled flip flops i put them straight into the charity bag. I should have read the reviews over 90% one star says it all

During the payment section,I chose paypal,and the money was taken immediately. I should have authorised it, and chosen payment method,credit card or pay in 3. They also created the payment as a continuos one,which I found and cancelled in paypay.Sending them an email immediately to cancel, still no reply 4 hours later. Paypal resolution was confusing as there was no section for this type of transaction. They advised me the payment had been made, yes, but unauthorised by me. My bank referred me to paypal, dont they understand this behavior is tantamount to fraud.Trading standards advised,and google.

Dreadful quality of clothes. Poor materials and no product care labels (or any labels) on the jumpers. Loose threads and poor workmanship. The company is based in China, and all goods have to returned at the customers expense. This is not clear on the website. The goods have been “stuck” in Chinese Customs for the past 10 days. I suspect the returns address does not exist. There was no company name or post/zip code supplied. Do not use this company.

Ordered a jacket on the 27th of December took my money still waiting for it , I've requested a refund 4 times including today , just being ignored I will contact trading standards, see if they ignore them

I'd like to give a more positive addendum to my previous review of "ThePonty" outlet.
Admittedly, so soon after delivery, I was a tat "frothed up" about the experience up to then. But after airing my greavances as a response to a "how did we do?" email, I was given a full refund voucher! This I consider a very fair response to my (perhaps) a little ott comments.

Don't buy anything from this company they're not true to their return policy they sent out shoes 4 sizes too small and it's not their fault how is that. I didn't pick up the shoes and send them to myself did I. I'm 87 years old and can't afford to lose £39 out of my pension

My man really likes his new work boots ,they arrived a few days after I ordered them which I was surprised about after reading these other revievs .I ordered from theponty.com then read the reviwes and I was worried that the item would not turn up on time but I emailed the comoany who then responded promptly advising me of delivery times .I wad happy woth that ,then tje nextvday to my pleasant surprise the boots arrived which was before they were due to arrive .i am very happy with yhis ss this is for a Christmas present. So I am.very happy ,with the price ,the quality ,the cistomer service.I will definately buy from this company again.

Received nothing like I ordered - flimsy / nasty shirt instead of a jacket.

I ordered this on the 18th of October, delivered on 29th and I immediately contacted the company to return them under the Consumer Rights Act 2015

The products delivered were so flimsy and substandard that I rejected them outright. They have refused a refund or a return and I have now reported them to trading standards.
I might as well as flushed the money down the toilet, they were that poor quality, although they say "that's the quality they work to".
I don't know where they get the "great trust pilot reviews" that they advertise on their website, it certainly doesn't mirror the reviews here and one cannot click on the trustpilot link on their website

Tried many times to return item for refund. They will not accept returns for refund. Do not use.

The returns policy stated on their website is absolute bollocks. They WILL NOT accept a return even though the item I purchased was unused and in perfect condition and I requested a refund on the day of receipt of the item which took 3 weeks to arrive!!

Clearly a scam - and as its based in Hong Kong you have few if any legal or consumer rights. I ordered a jacket that looked nice on the website. It took a month to arrive and then was simply not what I ordered. They ignored my request to arrange a return and refund, and simply asserted I had what I ordered. I sent photos to show that the rubbish parka they sent wasn't what they advertised or I ordered. They keep going round in circles claiming that "they have asked the responsible department" to respond but don't hear anything. So, legal action was my next step, because I don't think consumers should be ripped off like this. But we can't sue company's in Hong Kong or flag with Trading Standards without going through a broken CAB system

Ordered and received a pair of sandals. Quality well below expected. Company website says if dissatisfied, contact them for how to return and get refund within their 14 day limit. That's rubbish too, because they responded to say refund is denied and exchange possible only if size or colour were not as ordered - I ordered green and got light brown but even if I could exchange it for Norwegian Blue, it would still be a dead parrot. I will try for a refund via online consumer anti-fraud assistance.

Ponty would not let me return some boots within their 14 day returns window. I managed to get a charge back from my bank. Their customer service is shocking. DO NOT BUY FROM THESE SCAMMERS

I received the parcel but the shoes received they're poorest poorest quality I ever seen.

If I can't return better put in the bin cause not even giving to someone or charity will be fair.

Avoid this website at all cost - This is a total scam. For those of you that have been scammed/bought something - if you used Paypal to buy your item, raise a dispute with them and you should get a refund as they now know that they are scammers. I raised a dispute 4 days ago and got my money back today. Countless emails and chasers sent to Ponty with no response. Do not be fooled by their website - what you will receive will bare no resemblance to what you ordered and your hard earned cash will be gone...........
