Half of my order was missing, not amended 8 weeks later, no refund

Half of my order was missing. What was sent was cheap feeling and blurry labels. Products in themselves were ok but couldnt smell essential oils in them at all, no scent. Customer service appalling. Have now waited 8 weeks for the rest of my order to be sent even though "Olive" assured me it was being prioritised. Really disappointed as their ads came across professional and of good quality, I like buying from small companies but this has made me feel like they've put more money and thought into their advertising than their actual products and customer service.

Disastrous

Disastrous! Avoid this company at all costs. I’ve ordered from them twice and I’ve had to go chasing each time to say nothing arrived. Then they eventually sent out my order. The sad thing is I really like the products! They have great clean ingredients. But I’ve had it now with this third order. Which I placed THREE MONTHS AGO. I’ve emailed them over and over again. They initially said they had sent me out a replacement order and said there is an issue with certain postcodes not getting their deliveries. Nothing came for another 3 weeks and I contacted them again to which they said they had issued a refund. But they haven’t! And I’m still emailing them trying to get my money back but they are telling me to email my bank and in the last email they’re trying to make it seem as if I’m trying to pull something, as if I’m scamming them! Absolute joke. Now when I search their company the website is closed. Avoid like the plague! I’m still going to push to get my money back but at this stage I have little hope

Disappointing

I’ve previously ordered and received products, which I really liked. Some of the products were missing or leaking and the company sent out replacement. They took ages to arrive. However, like I said I really like the products so I placed another order at the start of August. I received a tracking email to say that the courier was waiting on pickup but this status never changed. When I chased up the order, they said they would follow it up. Over a month now since I placed the order and when I chased it up, they issued a full refund. I really want to like this company as the actual products were lovely but the dispatch and delivery just wasn’t there.

I really wanted to like this company…

I really wanted to like this company and all the it seems to stand for. The products on the website look fun and I loved that they are natural. I had a lot of issues with my first order from them last year with products going missing and leaking etc. also not receiving items I was expecting. I knew they were a new start up company so waited a long time before re-ordering only for my order to be cancelled with no reason as to why (after waiting for a couple of weeks). I am really disappointed and won’t use again now.

Avoid..

Avoid... Placed order on 25th August and never recieved it still waiting for a response after they initially said they would look into it.
I'm all for supporting small businesses but the customer service sucks as does any updates for tracking items.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!

Wish I could give zero stars.
My packages took months to arrive (ordered in end of June), was fobbed off and ignored through email when I chased it up and ignored further when I attempted to get a refund.
Product finally turned up with contents leaking from oils, so losing the product and covering the rest of the products in a mess.
Missing my rabbit revenge which seemed to be replaced by a tiny bottle of face oil that I didn't order and the face balms seemed to had finger prints in them and smelled rotten.
Threw everything away as it had obviously been opened and touched.
This company is disgusting and shouldn't be trading. Will be putting in complaint to trading standards, and I suggest others do the same.

No order sent after 3 weeks!

I placed my order on Augusg 18th. After over a week, I emailed to see if it had been dispatched, which it hadn't, but they said they'd chase it up for me.
I then received a dispatch email, but it never got sent. The link still says the courier haven't received it and it's September 3rd! I've been in contact again, but they just say they'll 'look in to it' and then don't reply.
If they don't send it VERY soon, I'll be contacting trading standards, as after seeing so many similar reviews on here I don't have high hopes for receiving my order.

Worthwhile wait for lovely cream

I read the reviews, ignored the rage bait and ordered anyway. All startups deserve a chance. All items received in two weeks as expected. The make up remover is fantastic and works on eye makeup brilliantly. The arnica cream for redness is lovely. I have lupus and very sensitive skin. No reaction at all. Very pleased with items. If you want a load of synthetic crap that slowly poisons you but need it next day order from Amazon. I will continue to support small businesses.

If I could have given this company zero…

If I could have given this company zero I would have. Chased my order after 2 weeks only to be given a bogus tracking ID claiming delivery had already happened. Tracking proved to be not related to my address. Further emails and screenshots followed, and a greasy leaking box arrives on my doorstep almost 3 weeks after my order was placed. Box contents are covered in leaking greasy mess and only one of the items is what I actually ordered. Awful service, shoddy goods and an overall shocking experience. I’m awaiting my refund, let’s see. Don’t buy from these con merchants.

Half order missing, ghosted over email 👻

Half of my order showed up - 3 weeks after placing the order. I wasn’t too fussed about the wait as they said it was all made to order. What did show was greasy, a balm was liquid and the stickers had left a sticky residue around the tops. I emailed and received a reply in a few days, then no further follow up with a solution for replacements or a refund. I’m happy to support small businesses and know that mishaps can happen - but this seems a case of being grossly negligent based on other reviews.

I gave this small business a chance .

I gave this small business a chance .. in fact 3 chances (2 with orders and one to rectify their mistake) as i guessed they might be overwhelmed with their deals and social media marketing efforts .. total waste of time, no one seems to speak to each other in their production base.
I ordered some face cream and was given a time frame of 5 days max (2 for processing, 3 for delivery)

After chasing the order my stuff arrived 3 weeks later.

I placed my second order 1st July, chased it up and was assured it would be processed right away, after waiting and other 2 weeks i requested a refund.
Then the order arrived, 20th Aug, 7 weeks after placing it, only it wasn't my order, i ordered 5 products and received 2, i was offered to be sent a prepaid envelope to return the package (these products were for birthdays that had passed) then they requested I've to return them myself!
Happy to say there will be no third order

The Barbies Revenge Balm is amazing

The Barbies Revenge Balm is amazing - a little goes a long way and it does give your skin a subtle glow.
This is a small, developing company and I waited a while for delivery - however, when I reported the issue it was sorted and sent quickly.
All the products I have ordered have been amazing - I would definitely use them again.

Product never arrived

My products never arrived. I spent nearly £50 seeking to try out a reasonably priced, cruelty free skincare company for nothing to ever be posted. After waiting over 2 weeks, with no delivery update I contacted customer service and was initially told that they will look to see where my order is and if they cannot find it they will resend it. Over a week later, still no update, nothing received and no response to my request for an update.

Evidently from the other reviews I am not the only individual to experience this.

The products and prices now seem to be too good to be true and this company appears to potentially be a scam.

Really disappointed

Really disappointed

I placed an order a month ago, a week after placing it I recieved an email saying it was expected by the courier, after this didn't update for another week I contacted the company, was told that they would follow up, then had to email a week later again, was offered a refund but was told the parcel might be ready for dispatch so decided to wait. Another week with no progress. I appreciate that this is a small company, but it is being advertised on Facebook and presumably attracting far more custom than they can keep up with- disappointed that I haven't been able to try the products and now await a refund.

Wonderful organic face cream

The delivery of my order was longer than I expected and I was a little confused about the delivery process as Evri pick up had to collect it and they kept telling me they were waiting for it?

I contacted customer service as I couldn’t track it and they were very quick and professional jn their response. They asked me to let them know when I received my order.

The product is WONDERFUL. Great quality and feels really good on my skin. It has smoothed and helps minimise wrinkles.

I didn’t realise there were negative reviews about this company until I went to review this.

These products are organic. They are individually made and very reasonably priced. I’m therefore happy to wait a little longer ( as long as it does arrive 😀).

Thank I’m about to place my second order.

Spilled content 1st time , Never arrived 2nd time

Like many others here - never received my parcel - it was intended as a gift and delivery date is long passed
I get that they are a small company, but the first time I used them the contents of my rabbits revenge had leaked everywhere in the box. I decided to give them a second chance are the products are quite good, but wish I hadn't now.

Edit - Funnily enough my parcel arrived the day after posting this .... missing most of the contents.
Such a shame Plant Life. Maybe stick to a physical store and not sell stuff online if you can't keep up with orders.

Misrepresentation of Delivery Terms and Unlawful Refusal of Refund

In my view, Wanga Ltd trading as the (plant life.co.uk) has engaged in conduct amounting to misrepresentation and breach of statutory duty.

I placed an order in April 2025 in reliance on their published Shipping & Delivery policy, which specifies 1–5 working days for production, 1–2 working days for processing, and 48–72 hours for UK dispatch. No delivery was made within that timeframe, or within the 30-day statutory period under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

When I sought a refund in August 2025, this was refused, and I was directed instead to seek a chargeback via my bank — advice that was both factually incorrect and legally unsound, given that the duty to refund rests with the trader.

Please report to trading standards and ICO for unlawful processing of your data and Information.

I placed an order with Plantlife…

I placed an order with Plantlife despite some mixed reviews and was initially cautious. I ordered their £5 under eye cream and a £5 sample pack of their four best-selling items. The delivery took about two weeks, and unfortunately, the sample pack never arrived—only the eye cream and two free items were included, which I was grateful for

I contacted customer service, and they responded promptly, offering me a refund or to resend the missing items. I opted for the refund, which was handled smoothly.

That said, I really like the products I did receive. The under eye cream is fantastic and definitely worth trying. It’s clear the company has potential, but they need to improve their order fulfillment process to avoid repeated mistakes. With some better logistics, Plantlife could be an amazing brand.
