rubbish for refunds

The Pantry provides school meals for children, yet their customer service is extremely poor. Although they advertise a phone number for “urgent” queries, I have never been able to speak to anyone and only ever reach an answering machine. The only effective method of contact appears to be email, and even then responses are slow and unhelpful.
I am still awaiting a refund that I was told would be processed over three months ago. Over the past two weeks, I have repeatedly been assured via email that the matter would be dealt with, but no action has been taken.
There is no information on their website about how to make a formal complaint, and my emails requesting guidance on this have been ignored. This is unacceptable service, particularly from a company responsible for providing meals to children, where parents should be able to make contact easily and have straightforward issues—such as refunds—handled promptly.

GOLD STANDARD!?! Cruddy STANDARD MORELIKE

They brag about being GOLD standard of food catering.

I have contacted the local council and for further information of who to contact relating the below matters. As your company does not seem to care when complaints are made. Either they're molly coddling the directors and not presenting the complaints, or theyre just advising us, that they've been noted to get you off the phone... As this has not been dealt with properly or in a timely manner. I feel outraged and truly upset, with whats happening.

They are disgraceful and far from gold. Hospital food that's been binned is better standard and qaulity than the food these provide at the primary school my daughter attends.

So far this year since they have taken over the contract... my 6 year old daughter jas been told "WEVE RUN OUT OF FOOD" well over 10 times and then been upset, she has then been forced to eat a plain tuna sandwich. Which has no seasoning or mayonnaise, made with 1 slice of buttered bread. And then a tiny easy peel orange or apple.

She comes home feeling ill most days either to do with the utter incompetence in what they produce or, due to being so hungry, because the qauntity of her meal not even being enough to feed a toddler!

I am taking our complaints further..

It is not acceptable, considering her Meals are PRE-ORDERED (always on time) to then be told after queueing for her food that they've run out. She's then told itsna sandwich or nothing. Why take pre orders and then not provide enough food.

My partner has contacted the company several times regarding their utter incompetence. And been met with "Oh, well. Ill note it down" not once have we received an apology, an explanation or seen anything change.. in fact its got worse..

--> We were told
""there's no wiggle room with the food they provide, so mistakes are easily made. And they csnt help that..""
THIS IS NOT A GOLD STANDARD OF FOOD. ive worked in catering for businesses and in Michelin star restaurants and they stuff left at the bottom of the sink or bin is better than what these provide.

My daughter said most of her friends have also been facing the same result, so its not just the odd meal. It is not just on occasion, id say at least once a month this has happend, sometimes more regular.

Sort your stuff, or face me requesting an investigation. Im taking this as far as I can, seems as your staff in the office and phone lines dont seem trained enough to deal with jarred pff parents! Or really dont actually care.

Im sick of feeling guilty and upset for my daughter not being provided her dinners and coming home starving and ill. Knowing she stands there in tears, as is only told no food when at the hatch for her meal.

You're clearly a profiteering company , as the qaunities and qaulity you provide does not match what you brag about pn your web page or provide in schools,

I hope your directors are deeply ashamed of themselves and have a serious look at their outlook on what their company actually physically provides.

The previous company is much better and actually had decent portion sizes.

In what day and age is a slice of bread with the bare minimum of tuna no seasoning or mayonnaise, in enough to support a child who's been doing a, full day of active PE

DISGUSTING COMPANY 🤬🤬🤬 YOU SHOULD BE ASHAMED.

This is what they state on their website --->
""" The Gold Standard: We're delighted to have been awarded the Food for Life ‘Gold’ Mark for meeting the highest standards in School Food Catering. We prioritise fresh local, seasonal, and sustainable food – so you can be reassured your menus are comprised of ethically and environmentally-friendly ingredients, with healthy choices being readily-accessible each and every day, and local ingredients being championed through engaging marketing and promotions"""

^^
This dribble they brag about, is all utter nonsense. From our experince and many other parents ive spoken to in the playground. They should not have ever received rewards for their services, and if that's the standard they go by. I'd really hate to see what bronze is like..
