Thank you Optical Studio for making my recent appointment such a pleasant experience. Your caring attitude was very appreciated, and my new glasses feel so comfortable.

Having been a client for a number of years, I visited the Victoria (Warwick Way) branch to discuss my condition. Midway through a conversation with the receptionist, another member of staff barged in, ignoring me and started a conversation with the receptionist. I was completely ignored and negated. After a few moments, I objected to this treatment and was about to leave, when the most childish and insincere explanation was offered. I will never use this place again. Anyone know another optician in Pimlico?

Having been a Chandlers client for probably 20 years (Godalming then Haslemere), I did find the later few years the service had gone down. Still great eye test by Tod eho is excellent but the admin side was ridiculously bad especially in relation to contact lenses e.g called to say had arrived but when I went to pick up them couldn't find them. Or other times they hadn't been ordered. Just seemed so unorganised (I live 20 mins away so frustrating to go only to have to go back again).

Thought I would persevere as taken over by another company and had spoken to a young chap who was really helpful about the vision issues i was having, but have found the receptionist unbelievably rude and always seems in a rush to hurry you along so will now try elsewhere. My husband has actually refused to pick up anything from there now (which he does as he passes more often) as she is so condescending and rude (not English so could be a different style) but just found her very offhand and in too much of a hurry when I'm trying to check my diary for dates, if it was a one off I would try again but it's been an issue each time I've visited. Such a shame!

I visited the Optical Studio in Godalming to ask for some advice re fixing a pair of Prada sunglasses of great sentimental value. The customer service was exceptional. They fixed the glasses within a week - excellent service!

Extremely professional and considerate. I went for a routine eye test and the optician referred me to hospital for narrow angles, a pre-glaucoma condition. This was promptly treated at Ashford/St Peter's Trust. Had the optician not spotted this condition I would be at risk of losing my sight, so I shall be forever grateful for the detailed examination and referral. Brilliant range of frames too!

After my disappointing Leighton experience I wrote about I decided to go the optical studio.

They immediately booked me for free at a reasonable date. I showed up a week early but since they didn’t have any customers they decided to take me generously.

Amazing eye test, reliable results.

They also said that since my appointment was early, they’d make the appointment for a week later for my other son.

Very good, top choice optician.
