The New Monthly Version started this Month 01/2026, is like the Old UK Exchange Mart,Full of Paid Adverts for Overpriced Eating Dens/Caves !

More slanderous lies printed again with no actual fact checking.Again printed lies with no right to reply with actual substantiate facts and proof of innocence just printed for deformation of character and associations but there happy to receive awards and money from other charity organisations ...

Super company that write great content and want to support local companies where possible.

Jon and the team I'd highly recommend and I'd encourage everyone to read the content they write. 5 stars.

The Olive Press has provided me with reliable, local news in a time when social media and multiple news outlets are untrustworthy. What I love about the Olive Press, in comparison to other expat newspapers in Spain, is its commitment to investigative journalism and uncovering important, meaningful stories. The company's print of multiple editions across Spain (Andalucia, Gibraltar, Costa Blanca, Mallorca), plus its German edition, is also impressive and gives it a national presence. For expats, like me, I recommend choosing this paper for both an online and a physical read.

Jon Clarke's article on Madrid was the ideal guide for a few days exploring the magic of Madrid - I enjoyed a beer with Hemingway at Cerveceria Alemana !

The Olive Press newspaper couldn’t be a better more informative read for anyone coming to Spain… and, in actual fact, when I needed to change my password the team at the main number were quick and helpful …

Same news week after week. Not much of it. I subscribed for a while but thought it a waste of money.

Slanderous report abot tommy robinson. All made up stirring up hatred towards this brave man. Exposing private information about his holiday. Would not recommend this paper it reports lies beware.

Lost my password to Olive Press, have requested 3 times a link to reset NOTHING COMES.
All they do is try to get me to pay/subscribe for it.

I think this is a really good informative paper covering many regions in Spain for local news etc and I subscribe for long holiday spells to keep upto date. You can pick up the paper in tourist offices and some other places for free.
I paid extra for a no adverts digital subscription a while ago but it made absolutely no difference. When contacted them they said you cant have NO adverts.

In February this year I took up the special 50% off an annual digital subscription and have a confirmation email. I had not read it for some weeks but when I logged on it yesterday 5 May it stated I had to upgrade/subscibe to read more of the article and I had used my monthly quota. I have not read this paper on line for weeks so how can I have used up my monthly quota

I have emailed the olive press today and I am sure they will put this right or perhaps explain why I can not read full articles even though I have subscribed.

I took out an annual subscription to the Olive Express weeks ago. Since then, I still don't have access to all the articles. I was promised a refund of the amount paid. These are promises worth nothing. Because after repeated requests, I still haven't got my money back. Therefore, I want to warn readers, do not subscribe to this newspaper. Because in case there is a technical problem, i.e. no access in my case, you will lose your money.

Terrible. They expect you to subscribe to read this rag. Who in the right mind would do that?
