DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY - Ruined Christmas and tool £124, tree was not delivered. I did receive a response to one query, but when asking for delivery date I was ignored. I tried everything. I chased over and over, ended up having to buy another tree which looked terrible. I am taking the complaint through civil courts.

Sketchy

Sketchy - and now reading some of the other comments, I am more dubious about this company than before....

There WERE a couple of issues with the delivery - although the product (tree) was stunning and perfect, the logistics were less than streamlined.

It was the after-sales care that really let this company down and gave me doubts and reservations - no collection as agreed - AND PAID FOR - and no replies / contact / reasons given.

Like others, Dan's mailbox was full, so clearly we were not alone.

Whether Dan is a one man band who got overwhelmed - but this '50 years of Xmas Trees' Instagram promise failed to fully deliver.

That said, on reading the reviews on the companies Insta page we were lucky we got a tree at all.

Awful. Would not recommend - and I only picked this company as they promised they would plant 3 trees for every 1 tree felled - that I am sceptical and disappointed is an understatement.

The tree was lovely

The tree was lovely, smells great but they didn’t pick up the tree in Jan as they supposed to. No answers on email or phone at all.

HORRIBLE

HORRIBLE. They did not deliver my lights or my base and have been unresponsive. I paid for pick up in January but have not been able to get into contact with anyone to schedule this. I have sent 5 emails and heard nothing back.

No delivery of goods or refund

Like so many other unhappy customers, I seemed to have fallen prey to the same tactics employed by The Nordmann. I placed an order for a garland on 6 November 2025, with a requested delivery date of end of November/beginning December. No delivery was made. I contacted them on 9 and 11 December requesting an update on the expected delivery date and failing delivery a full refund - I am yet to receive a response or a refund. Awful customer service and would strongly discourage anyone from placing an order online with this company - you won't see your goods or your money.

Terrible tree and terrible communication

Communication with this company is AWFUL. Received my tree on the day but was covered in flies and filled my apartment up with flies. I also paid extra for tree collection and have been trying to contact them about the collection but no one answers and there’s no way of leaving a voicemail. I’ve also tried the online form and email and no one is replying. I want a refund for the collection as I’m sure it won’t happen

I'd give 0 stars if I could

I'd give 0 stars if I could. I ordered a tree and paid £20 for a pre 12pm delivery and £25 for it to be collected in January. On the day of delivery I got an email at 07:25 to say the tree would be delivered between 12:30 - 14:00... the tree was delivered at 13:15, no apology or attempt to refund the pre 12pm £20 additional charge I'd paid.

Since then I've not been able to get in contact with anyone at this company to confirm that date the tree will be collected. I've sent 3 emails and left countless voicemails. Once again, an additional £25 I did not need to pay! Dan the 'owner' is a ghost, he will ignore you! I eventually called the delivery driver, he was a very polite guy and has tried to help but he said he'd only worked for Nordmann for the Christmas period and Dan is taking care of the tree disposal collections. I've now paid another, more reliable company to collect the tree.

This company is run by crooks who'll take your cash and disappear... DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM

Company owner Daniel is a pathetic cowardly criminal.

Horrible. Everyone stay away from this company, and from Daniel, the "owner". Complete scam. Got sent a tree that was too large, rescheduled for another one to be delivered, it never showed up, almost ruined Christmas, and Daniel the fraud at the helm hasn't answered an email or a phone call since. Complete pathetic coward. Takes £350 from you and runs the other way. Cowardly criminal. Lowest of the low. Stay away at all costs - this fraud WILL ruin Christmas for you.

Avoid Nordmann Christmas trees

ORDER number R493666555 - I was highly distressed about their delivery of my tree on 12/12/2025.
We'd expected a time slot to be sent the night before (11/12/2025) and my husband went out early on errands om 12/12/2025.
We then had an email the morning of 12/12 that was right before it was due to arrive!
I'm recovering from major surgery on my right leg after an accident. I tried to get to the door when I heard a knock - as quickly as possible - especially as I hadn't seen the email that had arrived after 7:30 a.m. this morning saying it was coming first thing.

I hobbled to the door to find the tree propped up outside and no one to help me get it in!!

I stood guard over it until my husband got back to bring it in for me because I'm on crutches.

I can't believe their delivery service would not even wait until someone got to the door because they would've seen me on my crutches they would have put the tree inside the door for me!

What if I'd been an elderly person with no one to help me? At least I knew my husband was coming back.

Next problem - the tree was super skinny and not enough branches to fill it out! We paid a lot for it!
We'll never get one of their trees again!

Awful company

Awful company. Tree arrived but not the size I paid for. Has been constantly dropping needles despite being a “no drop needle tree”, full of bugs and had zero communication despite multiple emails to the company. Do not purchase from them.

If there was a negative star rating I’d give them that because they are scammers.

I placed an order for 2 trees - ofcourse when you need to order, they have a different line and they help you out at every step, the moment you reach out to them for delivery status or any other issue, you can never reach them. Absolute scam - don’t know how they are able to do it every year and don’t know how they are not sued yet.

No tree, no delivery, very disappointing

I ordered a Christmas tree well in advance to be delivered on Dec 23rd. The date was even verified by Nordmann (Daniel Ferrari) with an additional email. On the day of the delivery there were no tracking details and no response from customer service. I tried multiple emails, Instagram DMs and all the calls went straight into voice mail and then cut off. I was ordering before for 2 years and always received beautiful trees. I understand that things can happen operationally, but when a delivery is so close to Christmas, I would have expected at least a notification in advance. Definitely will not be ordering from Nordmann again.

Not delivered, no refund issued, not contactable

Received a message that 'tree was not delivered' even though I was at the address during delivery time. No one tried to contact me to attempt the delivery. Since then have not been able to receive an answer to my emails, impossible to reach anyone by phone to receive a refund. Started claim with bank.

I would not recommend The Nordmann!!!

We booked and paid in advance for a Christmas tree removal service with The Nordmann, and nobody showed up to collect the tree as scheduled.

I sent an enquiry email on Friday, 19th December, and also left a voicemail requesting a call back. There was no response at all.
Today, 22nd December, I emailed again and tried calling multiple times. The phone line just sends you straight to voicemail, but you can’t actually leave a message — the call disconnects immediately after the instructions.

At this point, there has been zero communication, zero service, and no accountability, despite payment already being taken. This is completely unreliable and very disappointing, especially during such a busy time of year.

I am now requesting a full refund, as the service paid for was not provided. Based on this experience, I would not recommend The Nordmann.

This company is a SCAM

We would like to add to the many reports of this company being a SCAM. My mother brought and paid for a tree on the 22nd of November for delivery of December 17. Tree never arrived and despite leaving emails, texts and voice messages we have never heard back. We will be putting in a complaint with the fraud department of the bank. Avoid at all costs.

Beautiful tree arrived on agreed date again this year

I ordered a Christmas tree from thenordmann.co.uk last year. I got a delivery notification a few days before delivery and a lovely shaped perfect tree was delivered on the agreed date.
This year I ordered a tree again but as I hadn’t received a delivery notification by the day before the agreed delivery date I panicked and looked on Trustpilot where I saw reviews about trees not arriving etc. However, the next day on the agreed date (12th Dec 2025) a beautiful tree arrived.
