Items not sent

I ordered 3 items and they only shipped 2.
In the instructions it said if you don't receive all your items, just wait as it may come separate.
After 2 weeks I contacted them and they didn't reply.
I contacted them after 2 more weeks and they said they needed a picture of the packaging (which I threw away as it was just a courier bag).
They have only just got back to me now over 4 weeks later saying they will send it out

Customer Service Nightmare

My husband bought me a refurbished (used) Apple Macbook last Christmas from The Market NZ. Despite being 'refurbished' it had zero battery function from purchase. There was a lengthy 4 month+ customer service process which eventually resulted in the laptop being ubruptly returned, now security locked (with still no battery) and no explanation, poorly packaged. It's been under my bed and completely useless ever since. Needless to say, I recommend avoiding the Market, especially their refurbished tech. I was quoted $400 to get this Macbook going by the local Apple repairer. Interesting that they don't have Google reveiws enabled either...

I ordered a bookcase from The…

I ordered a bookcase from The Warehouse, via The Market, at 40% off. It arrived in a heavily damaged box and upon opening it was, indeed, severely damaged.

I informed The Market of this and all I was offered was a refund as, bizarrely, they still cannot process replacements.

The issue is the bookcase was back to full price when it arrived damaged, so to get a new one, I have to pay full price. I also have to dispose of the damaged bookcase myself.

This is not the first time something like this has happened to me, but it will be the last as I will be shopping elsewhere from now on. Appalling.

Order a item a month went past still…

Order a item a month went past still not here. Contact them and they put the rong tracking number on it and don't know we're it's gon. Asking for my money back and no more contact from them I will not go with the market place agen.

Too much hassle and not enough appetite to encourage us to come back!

I have received a really poor service from TheMarket. We bought a sofa through from TSB Living through TheMarket and our sofa was delivered in two parts. Delivering in two parts is not any issue, however, there were two different colours to the sofa, one green, one grey.

We notified TSB Living directly and despite them saying they will sort it, nothing was done. We followed up with them and they said on the second occasion that we needed to go through TheMarket, so we promptly messaged TheMarket. After being told several times that it will take another 3-7 days and they can't do anything about that. We then receive text saying they will deliver the next day.

Did they deliver the next day? No. We took the day off work in order to be in and receive the delivery and have the other item picked up, which was confirmed by the Customer Service Rep this will be done. The delivery guys only picked up the previous item and did not deliver. I was subsequently told by the CS Rep that Go Deliveries has made a mistake. So all 3 companies involved are incompetent and we have to be the ones to take days off work waiting for them to do their job.

I don't think anyone really considers how inconvenient this was and seemingly took no little or very slow action and responsibility for what was happening. The amount of days off we took off in order to be in and not have anything resolved was appalling.

There is no incentive for us to consider using TheMarket again. No appetite from them to encourage us to use them. All 3 companies involved made simple and stupid mistakes and we still paid they same amount for a service that should've been much slicker considering we paid nearly $800.

Cheap but noisy.

Cheap but noisy.
Product is a good size and comes with a charging cord. But when I turned it on and put it in front of my cat, she was quite put-off by the noise. This might be a cat toy that gets played with more when NOT turned on.

What I received was not what I ordered.

I ordered a free standing wardrobe to be delivered. What I received was completely different from what I ordered and it didn’t come with any instructions on how to construct it. Won’t buy again.

Waste of time and money

I ordered some goods from the market it said 20-26 days, then I got told after a month it would be 3 more weeks but would ship soon, it's been 6 days more than when it was supposed to ship and still hasn't arrived, where is my package?

Customer service keeps delaying and will probably delay it further.

Most of the time they're fine and on time but it's been well over a month and utterly ridiculous.

Order placed and accepted

Order placed and accepted. Delivery 7-14 days. Now day 8 no tracking number received so I can only assume goods still waiting to shipped from off shore. I do not believe the goods arrive in 4 days if they have not been dispatched yet.
