Great shopping experience

It was great dealing with The Leather Craftsmen. Top quality product and customer service, all efforts were made to be sure it was a happy experience throughout the whole transaction. A+++++

The jackets I order feel great and fit perfectly.

So on the positive side, there was constant and friendly communication which i really appreciated.

On the negative side, the jacket was over a month late, it was for my sons birthday and was pre ordered two months before, there were issues with the inscription and fonts which added to the delay

Showed and gave me wat I needed

The time of delivery wasn't as shown on the website. Which one can understand that there may be some challenges since every order must be ordered from Pakistan first, but what was most concerning to me was that I was told the order is already here but stuck at customs who won't release it, only to find out a week or two later the item wasn't even shipped from Pakistan yet. Stay honest rather than fabricating lies if you want to keep customers.

As far as the actual item is concerned, after waiting much longer than a month after ordering, I must comment on the quality of the jacket which seems to be excellent. The jacket is awesome and well worth the money (as it looks so far).

Also must mention the lady who handled the matter and my complaint who was very friendly and apologetic, and came with the truth after the incorrect information was given to me.

I see that most other reviews here are very positive and I am happy for them.

But my experience in my first order with them really is horrible.

The worst thing is that I found out they lied to me in writing on email.

I ordered a Jacket on 25 July. Seeing that the website said it would ship within 9 to 15 days I ordered well in time so I could have it before my holiday at the end of August.

After three weeks I enquired and they said it would take another week.

After that week I enquired again.
Each time I got a different feedback.

About my third enquiry they mailed me back and even phoned me and told me that the jacket is here but that they are struggling to get it from customs and that as soon as customs realease it they will ship it in about a week's time.
The person said his boss is busy with customs as we speak.

Waiting longer than a week I mailed again complaining about this.

A very friendly and apologetic lady phoned me and told me the stock has just shipping from Pakistan and would be in South Africa in about a weeks time.

But that is what is not right for me. And makes that I won't ever do business with them. The fact that they lied to me about the customs when the item wasn't even shipped from Pakistan yet.

This is really damaging to their business.

And since I ordered and paid on the 25th July, it is now summer and too hot to wear a jacket already on the 4th of September and there still is no sign of my jacket.

The sales team were great, communicated regularly and got the jacket to me on time. However the lining was damaged and they should have seen and fixed that before they sent me the item.

Easy to buy, reliable and very high quality products. I trust this company

The leather Craftsmen has the best customer service I've ever had. They replied to every message I sent the same day and kept me in the loop on my order as well as were very honest where my order was. My order it's self was worth so much than I paid... the finishing touches to the pockets and sleeves cuffs are absolutely stunning, the detachable hoodie is so convinent for wash. I absolutely loved my experience with The leather craftsmen.

They are always responding on time any questions they answer promptly. My goods were delivered on time as promised.
It's just unfortunate they don't have any other branches in other provinces so it becomes so expensive to ship small things like leather paste/cream to maintain the leather
