Do your research first

I wish I read this before parting with my money! I started the cyber security course that included 5 exams. An insane amount of information to take on board in a small time frame! When contacted the contradicted themselves with the time frame giving you no time to retrace your steps or reread certain areas. I was told that a none speaking English person passed this course and was earning £80,000 per year!? (I took that claim with a pinch of salt) I was also told 8 hours a week i would pass the course in 7 months! Ridiculous time frame! As I only managed two courses I asked for half my money back and after a 6 month investigation they just said no! Please do your homework before committing!

My experience with The Learning People…A BIG REGRET

My experience with The Learning People has been less than satisfactory. When the course was advertised, so many things were promised, such as live classes, assistance with modification of resumes, LinkedIn profiles, and active recommendations to prospective companies for employment. After passing the initial certification, I was informed that they would not be able to assist with the promised services due to legal restrictions and data privacy laws. When I made requests to cancell the contract, I was told that it would not be possible as the 14-day cancel period had expired. I regret falling for the lies.

Avoid The Learning People

- Unresponsive Student Care - consistently non-responsive. Even calling their website Student Care number results in reaching the voicemail every day.

- Outdated Course Delivery - They use an outdated video PowerPoint slide system for course delivery. It's a terrible form of learning delivery.

- Career Services - offers very basic job assistance that could easily be found online, making it feel more like a service padding than genuine help. They give you 5 mins of tips for your CV and LinkedIn.

Disappointed again.

So after my first review, the learning people did get in contact with me. Someone rang to say how disappointed he was to hear that my tutor wasn't up to scratch and that they will do everything in there power to help.

I was told he would look in to possible compensation for me and get a new tutor for me.

I was told they will send an email with a new tutor to choose from (which they did) and that they would be back in contact. Never heard from them again, this was on 14th September.

So no compensation at all, probably just said to make me feel better.

I also recieved a call from a coding manager called Martin. Who left a message to get in touch with him. I was away the week he called so called back as soon as I was back home. I rang numerous times and even left a message to call me back and at what time, as the calls ALWAYS went to his answerphone. This was on the 3rd October. Still waiting for the call back.

The new tutor I have has given me some pointers to try catch up, one being having to start over many sections in java script and watch some crash course videos on YouTube and if I get stuck to email him.

Needless to say I'm pretty much in the exact same position I was 8 weeks ago, though now I have even less time to complete the 50% remainder of the course.
This I do not blame on the tutor but on learning people as they have allowed this situation to happen.

Yet again, have said they will do XYZ but have failed to deliver.

These people are honestly almost…

These people are honestly almost scamming. I am enraged by what i was advertised and how the course turned out to be. I was doing the aws cloud course, i was told I would get live online classes, full support through out the course and access to a team dedicated to supporting you if you get stuck. None and i mean none of the above is true. There are recordings, there is a so called support team that will answer simple questions almost 24h later. Honest disappointment.

Stay out of the Learning people too dodgy

They are nothing but just the bunch of trickers who offer third part platforms with outdated learning materials charging you a lot of money for just nothing but promise. they trick people who love to learn to be committed into signing for many courses of Learning charging thousand of money whilst promising you great tutor support, and lot more other support the special course adviser. student discount card, and so so.... None any of the above will be given to you. And they know surely you have got no chance to succeed and finish your course anyway.
once you sign the agreement, you will never hear them again until the end of terminating time limit only to convince you to re-sign new agreement to extend your time limit and paying to them again thousand of money money and they will phone you again and again and again, So please be carefully and think deeply before you join them for that purpose.
They are nothing but scammers.

STAY AWAY FROM THESE!

STAY AWAY FROM THESE!

Sadly, the negative reviews and comments are accurate. The initial consultation and advice on pathways is blatantly untrue.

The online videos are poor in content and do not prepare a student for the exam, the tutor support is so poor that if they respond, it is probably having a huge impact on studying.

Student support say all of the right things and can help, however, have little power to do anything.

I suspect as with other reviews this will be ignored and removed.

Same thing I say here all the time…

Same thing I say here all the time before my review is removed -

Avoid this scam. The answers to the exam questions aren't even right, it's expensive and a pipe dream that they feed you. I'm still fighting them in court 2 years later. Stop removing my review. I'll email trustpilot proof.
