I love their products

I love their products! They have turned around my continually breaking out skin into a complexion that people compliment me on.

I never really focussed on a skincare routine, I kept it simple and didn't do much. I had a period of breakouts following an illness and so a friend recommended The Inkey List. I'm so glad they did! I've gone from breaking out to getting compliments on how I am looking!

My routine is simple but effective and the team at The Inkey List have been helpful signposting me to find the products that will work for me. I also love their rewards programme as it makes me feel valued as a repeat customer. 12 months into using their products and I don't see myself stopping!

LOVE the scalp exfoliator

LOVE the scalp exfoliator
LOVE the glycolic toner (spoiling us with a whole 10%!) I feel a slight tingle which is nice.
LOVE Rosehip seed oil
UNDECIDED about 20% niacinamide
WOULDNT REPURCHASE the hyaluronic serum, this one seems sticky compared to others I’ve tried.
DONT LOVE the packaging, it’s rather heavy on the plastic, I would prefer bigger sizes for serums & Rosehip oil, the 20% niacinamide tube could do with being a bit smaller because it’s hard to dispense a small enough amount and I always end up wasting some, also the lids are a bit awkward and messy on the Rosehip seed oil and hyaluronic acid serum.

Duff discount codes and off-hand customer service

I've bought three or four times from Inkey and have found the products to be decent quality, reasonably priced and dispatched in good time.

But I'm getting fed-up with companies (not just Inkey) who email you daily with in-yer-face marketing - and who also send discount codes that don't work. I wanted to use the latter (15% off) from an Inkey email this week, but the check-out process wouldn't recognise the code.

Customer service, who aren't exactly swift in replying, then wanted screen grabs, date of the email sent (yeah, that'll be the one on the bottom of the email I sent to you querying why the code wouldn't work), inside leg measurement, the temperature in Outer Mongolia ...

Three emails later it's not resolved and the tone of the customer service responses feels like they think I'm making the problem up.

If you want customers to keep coming back and also use these discount codes, then make sure they work - and that customer service show a genuine interest in helping to resolve the problem. I like Inkey products well enough, but not enough to be treated in an off-hand manner and with no proactive advice on how to put in the order.

Funnily enough, I've lost interest in the order now. Clearly Inkey don't want the custom that much. There are plenty of other good skincare brands who do.

We used the Retinol Serum and it burnt…

We used the Retinol Serum and it burnt both the skin on our faces, eye lids and foreheads where we applied this serum. Our skin has been burning and peeling for several days. This is not a skin friendly product!!!

Bad reaction to oat cleansing balm

I had a bad reaction to the oat cleansing balm. It’s advertised as suitable for all skin types but my eczema prone skin flared up and now feels very dry and tight. It clogged my pores and caused my chin to break out.

I had a similar reaction a couple of years ago but I wanted to give the product one more chance as I like the concept of using an oil balm to take my makeup off. Wish I had trusted my previous experience and kept with my current cleaner.

The scent is also really not pleasant and leaves an unpleasant residue on the skin which I think may be the reason for my breakout and irritation.

I contacted customer service less than…

I contacted customer service less than 20 minutes after my purchase when I realized I had accidentally entered my old address. Their response came days later, saying nothing could be done, even though the products weren’t scheduled to ship for another 10 days. Absolutely no effort was made to resolve the issue. I ended up losing the products because the current resident of my old apartment didn’t return them. They’ve lost a loyal customer.

Customer Service.

The measure of a company is their customer service. My order was incorrect and they have rectified this quickly and I cannot recommend them enough. At this busy time of year mistakes will happen. Thank you.

The products are great but the customer…

The products are great but the customer service is appalling. I received an email right after I ordered to advise there was an issue with the delivery of my order, no update, ETA...nothing. I have tried to contact them on the email they provided and had no answer. I ordered with plenty of time to have my products for my holiday and one week later I don't even know if this will be delivered at all

Wow, wow, wow!!!!

I ordered your Inkey hyaluronic acid serum yesterday from Amazon, it arrived today!!!! Oh my goodness, within an hour of applying to my face, it had soaked in, lovely soft skin, not greasy. Thanks Inkey I am 66 in January and look 46!!! Wow, I've just ordered your eye cream, bet that doesn't disappoint either. I am a very, very happy bunny. I would give you 100 stars if I could.

This company has THE BEST customer service. I had an issue and they were very quick to get back to me and sort. I am sure the products are amazing too. I never leave reviews but i really appreciated how they dealt with a situation.

Cleansing Balm

I use a few products from the Inkeylist and one of them being the cleansing balm which you take off with a hot cloth, however and this is not the first time I have raised the with them but they take no notice. The cleaning balm tube is too big so when you get so far down the tube the rest does not squeeze out so you resort (so as not to waste) to cutting the tube to get more balm out but this is NOT good as air then gets into the tube. Secondly I find the oil and balm separate which I don't like so not sure I will buy this from them again until they start listening. I can not be the only person who has found this a problem. The tubes are too big, it is simple solution do it for cheaper in smaller tubes and rectify the consistency of the balm so it does not separate. I find the No.7 much better and nicer consistency. Also they do not do samples or ever give you anything with the orders so you can try before you buy. Just saying. Thank you. Tessa

I wanted to try the products so I took advantage of an offer which arrived the very next day of ordering.

The advisers are very professional, The products are great with reasonable price. The shipment was quick and reliable.

Compensation on an order

I placed an order for a high amount as a loyal customer of The Inkey List for years. Less than 24 hours later, I receive an email newsletter announcing a 30% discount on the products. When I contacted customer service, they casually told me there was nothing they could do about it as for compensation. Clearly, loyalty and customer service mean nothing to them. I am extremely disappointed with this policy. It's a shame, but next time I'll choose a different company that actually values its customers for my skincare needs. A lot of other fish in the sea. Don’t bother if you expect good costumer service.

Edit: after saying I want to cancel my order I received the 30% discount from The Inkey List.

Not very bright

I have ordered skin care several times from The Inkey List and have been satisfied. Until recently when I ordered the Brighten eye cream. When I opened the tube what came out was watery soup which smelled off. When I complained I was asked to provide a picture of the tube and contents which I sent. Then the next day I was asked for more details about temperature I was storing the product and whether it was ok when shaken. I replied it was at room temp and it did become creamier when vigorously shaken. I reiterated my dissatisfaction with the product and asked for a refund. That was over a week ago and no further communication. At this point I will not spend another minute nor another penny on this company.

Do not order online

Do not order online. I love the products, but the online customer service is awful. I will not order online anymore I will get the products only from Sephora.
