Ordered £25 menu for two. We found most of the food bland and over sweet. There was no complexity of spices at all. The cauliflower dish tasted mainly of tinned tomatoes. The green chutney was like watery kale. We were so looking forward to this as we are long term vegetarians and love traditional Indian foods. I don't mind mild curries but I do expect to taste spices! Sad to say but half of the meal went into the compost heap.

We got the £25 meal deal with a few extra starters to share. It was very kid friendly as the curries and starters are extremely mild. If you like spice you'll definitely need to add it, but it was nice to have mild curries and try the other flavours that make it up. The pani puri were a bit fiddly as you fill them yourself but had a good flavour. I think perhaps we added a little too much water to the rice as it was all clumped together when we cooked it. The mango chutney was the best i've ever had, the naan breads tasted fresh. The whole lot tasted fresh and home cooked so that was lovely but it was a little fiddly with all the bits to cook at the same time, a lot of baking trays and washing up ironically haha!

Great food. All really fresh, quality ingredients and so easy to prepare. Clear reheating instructions given for each dish.
Love the amount of care taken with packaging and the ability to recycle or reuse it.
Would highly recommend.

The quality and quantity of the food was just immense. How it can be heated at home, having been couriered cross country and still taste so fresh and amazing is beyond me.

First time to try The Indian Guy - excellent is the verdict. Ordered the Menu of the Month for 4 people and shared with friends - we all thought the food was delicious. Particularly liked the starters, and having all the various sauces and relishes. Generous portions so plenty of food, and we thought good value. Delivery was right on time, and preparing the food was simple and well explained. All in all a very good experience and we will certainly order again and recommend to friends.

I have ordered from The Indian Guy a couple of times and have always loved the food and the customer service, so decided to order a couple of the party packs for a birthday party and I am so glad I did.

Firstly there was so much food and all of it hit the mark. It was all clearly labelled and easy to prepare and it is a plus that it comes in such great packaging.

Also there were a couple of dietary requirements (mainly and importantly, no nuts) and they went above and beyond helping. I expected just a few switches but was so happy when we received the dessert dishes nut free, especially how great they were. It was really appreciated especially from my nut free friend.

I just want to add how excited and happy one of my friends were when they spotted the Pani Puri, they were a favourite of everyone.

We tried The Indian Guy for the first time on Friday night and wow.. what an experience! We ordered the party box for 6 people and were overwhelmed with the amount of food that turned up (in a good way!). The items were easily prepared and every dish tasted delicious. We will definitely be ordering again soon, and I think my guests from Liverpool will become national customers!

So much excitement to come home and be able to bang in the oven pre made fresh and delicious VEGAN Indian style street food.
Firstly, the food arrived today I have to say it was worth the wait all dishes satisfying my taste bud, sadly lost out on the full experiamce and taster of two dishes due to mishap, no fault of the cateres. I did get to enjoy the rest of the dishes.
The potato curry packed a salty but flavoursome punch to the tangy chickpeas you can see, not best pic, as only managed to rescue a small amount. The onion bargies were crunchy with a slight heat of chili in the middle to bring the favours of the dips in, dips were sweet mango chutney, green chutney is my favourite; a Cucumber fresh, corriander and mint so refreshing and colourful, secondly I had the onion salsa with coriander. The food was delish and healthy I did add spinach to boost my iron I didn't notice mass of oil and believe it to be a healthy alternative that take away food, I particularly like the fact the tubs are recycle able and more like a eggbox material not plastic and lids are recycled, therefore better for the inviroment. I have not tried the others I have yet due to not wanting to waste the ones that were open. I really recommend you try these even if your vegan or vegetarian or carnivore you will enjoy the food. You can smell the aroma of spices as soon as you open the freezer packed box's. All delivered to your door .. get if you struggle to make meals in the week or fancy a indian curry night in with family or friends.

Food ordered and delivered on time with updates on process and delivery. The food was delicious and plentiful very happy with order will be using The Indian Guy again in the future. Food was fresh and superior to your average take away.

I've been ordering from the Indian Guy since they launched, and yet I'm still amazed by how flavoury, moreish and wholesome every new dish is. Their service can't be faulted and yet it has a very human touch. I love that they have real ethics, that they keep reinventing their menus, and that the portions are so generous for the price. It's the perfect weekend treat! (Do try the chai cheesecake if you get a chance...)

Second time we have had a delivery from The Indian Guy. The delivery time was exactly as they said it would be. The portions were very generous, in fact we couldn't manage all of it at one sitting. The quality is second to non and also I like that the mains are not running with oil.

Great food and amazing quality. I really appreciated how well packaged it was and how responsive they were on Instagram. I will definitely be ordering again!

What a feast, enjoyed every flavoursome mouthful. We are full of plumptiousness no room to spare and a few little surprises left for tomorrow.

I ordered for the 1st time last week and the food arrived on Friday as expected, we didn't actually eat the meal until Saturday evening but it kept perfectly fine in the fridge with no problem. The food was amazing, tasty, fresh, easy to prepare and there was plenty of it. We will definitely be ordering again and will have no hesitation in recommending to all my friends!

We had our first menu of the month last night ! Really tasty and we really enjoyed tasting foods we haven’t had before ! My husband isn’t vegan however he really enjoyed the meal ! We will definitely be using the service again. Well done the Indian Guy !!!

This is the best Indian food I've had at home. It's healthy and tastes amazing. Service is excellent, I can't recommend it enough!

Ordered for the first time last week and so pleased that we did. Food arrived well packaged and with clear instructions on how to heat/serve. The starters, mains and desserts (we ordered a slice of pistachio and lemon cheesecake and a slice of chai cheesecake) were all delicious and left us feeling pleasantly satisfied. My only negative (and it is only a small one) is that the potatoes in the potato curry were slightly undercooked, even after we had followed the heating instructions. All the extra chutneys, salsas, etc. tasted amazing too. Highly recommend and will definitely order again. Thank you 🙏

Instructions for reheating were clear and portions more than adequate for 2.
