Ordered my light and it arrived very quickly and it was just as beautiful as it was in the photos on line . Highly recommend.

The order took long than expected, I was given regular updates as to the status of my order. When it arrived I was very happy, definitely worth the wait. Can’t fault the company

Ordered £360 worth of lights and after the order was partially delivered they contacted me to say the other half was no longer available. After informing them the items were all purchased as a set and requesting a return, they refused to offer any return postage despite this being their fault. Out of pocket for postage and also potentially further costs relating to extending my renovation since I cannot purchase alternatives until I am refunded. Also worth mentioning what turned up was cheap tat made in China which is not obvious on their website. Not what you expect to be paying £100-200+ per item for and had I known prior to purchase I would have avoided. Spend your money elsewhere on genuine UK businesses with local products of good quality.

Bought the Sputnik sphere chandelier in January. Slight delay in delivery but arrived in Feb. Due to decorating, was only able to put it up last week. Bit fiddly to put together but managed it with my husband. Great value for money. One globe was cracked in the box but have asked for it to be replaced so waiting for that now. Had a spare in the box to be able to put light up anyway. Very impressed with the light and would buy from them again. Thank you Kristin for your communication.

The absolute worst company I’ve purchased from! Lights ship from china and were missing parts. Told we weren’t so called electrician back with tips of how to install differently. Still didn’t work. Said they’d expedite a part to us. It arrived 10 days later. STILL not able to install and we had to order and buy parts ourselves to get it up. Absolutely rubbish for the cost. Would never ever buy again and please read reviews on trustpilot or google to see countless other stories. UK address but can’t call them and basically just a front for a bad Chinese business. I asked for a partial refund and they said £10 😂 Three hours of electrician costs, the lights and buying our own parts was nearly £1k. It’s a joke

Review amended. I have given 3 starts mainly due to the lack of communication initially. It took a negative review to get a response but once they did reply things were sorted.
We have ordered 2 lights from them. They both came well packaged and from what we can see look really nice. Won’t be putting them up for a while yet but will update once I have.
They have used Evri for both deliveries, the first one said they had 2 attempts which was a lie as we were home on both occasions and the usual Evri driver knows where we live. When the light finally arrived we asked him why there was 2 failed deliveries. He told us he had only just got it that day. EVRI also lied saying they had to get a special vehicle as the package was too big: it arrived in a standard sized car so nothing special about that.
They do not have a premises in the UK. Their phone number is not working and not recognised.
They take some time to respond to emails.
Overall I have had worse experiences. They did give us a small refund for all the inconvenience caused which was appreciated.

What they need to improve on is getting a working phone number so UK customers can call them.
Not using Evri would be much better.

I recently ordered several lights from The House Lights Company, and everything arrived as expected. However, a fault arose during installation. Due to other commitments, I left the issue unresolved for some time before reaching out to customer service.

When I finally contacted them and explained the situation, their response was outstanding. They went above and beyond to assist me, making the entire process seamless. There was absolutely no negativity, just exceptional support.

I cannot recommend this company highly enough—not only for their amazing selection of products but also for their outstanding customer service. I will definitely be using them again for future renovation projects.

Really surprised to see any negative reviews here... I've had a first class experience with this company. Ordered the cluster bubble chandelier light, and the quality is absolutely stunning. Unfortunately, it took me several months to actually open the box due to building work being done in my house. When I opened it, one of the globes was missing. Customer services rectified it immediately, I've not received the replacement yet but will update this review with photos once received. Really happy with my purchase and I will definitely be buying from them again.

Update 13/03/25 - Replacement globe arrived as promised, super quick, immaculate condition - looks amazing. Totally in love with this product. Really rate the customer experience and I'll be ordering from them again soon. Thanks Kristin for all your help!

Awful experience so far. Lighting was ordered on 11/02/2025 and received an email on the 19/02/2025 detailing tracking information for two couriers (DPD and Royal Mail)
Tracking information does not work on either sites and when I tried the tracking service on the company website i get error texts saying ‘unable to find order’ and have not received any further information from the company. AWFUL SERVICE! 😡🤬

Everything about this company is great - the ordering process, delivery times and the quality of the product. And, most importantly, when you need their help, or something needs fixing, their customer service is spot on. Prompt and sensible.

Would order again.

The pendant light I ordered was beautiful and worked so well in our space. The customer service was great, the team were very helpful to confirm the sizes to make sure it would fit correctly and helped resolve in issue we had with a glass fixture very quickly!

Great lights, great service. Better than I have seen elsewhere and great value for money.

I purchased nearly £600 of lights without reading the reviews - I then noticed they had got my address wrong and the alarm bells sounded ! I then looked at all the reviews and was immediately ready to go through my Credit Card for a dispute - The first of two products came quickly (8 light sputnik) and I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the product (I was expecting the worse) - I assembled the light and thought that looks great ! - The second product was a massive 20 light Sputnik ( I was still very worried) - The very heavy box arrived and although there was a significant amount of assembly - The light was gorgeous - well made and really substantial. (very little plastic all chromed metal and I am absolutely delighted with the end product - Couple of niggles - the wires are all the same colour so when you shorten the wire you need to remember which is which and all the bulbs were non dimmable so I will have to replace them. (20 lights on FULL is really bright) - I would really use them again - Products came quickly and the quality was good. (not super high end but really good value for what I paid)

Don’t touch this sham. Based in china, not the uk. Offices and warehouse are not uk based but worse than that, quality is not good and products are not uk compliant. Now reported to trading standards. As a follow-up comment, the supplier has confirmed on email that the products are not certified as complaint within the UK. I do have a copy of this email on file. The products are extremely bad quality do not touch as they should not be sold in the UK.!

They have even contacted trust pilot to try and get this review removed. They have also asked me to remove it which I am not willing to do as they should not be trading with substandard uncertified products.

This company is based in China (not stoke on Trent) and its products are very bad quality as a result. Plus these reviews are clearly fake. AVOID

I purchased a mid century style wall light and was extremely pleased with the service and delivery. The light arrived within the timescale promised and I was very pleased with the product itself. I will definitely be ordering from this company again. Very happy customer!
