Really delighted with our new Plantation Shutters supplied and fitted by the Hardwood Shutter Co. They had previously fitted shutters for our daughter and son-in-law so we were aware of the quality of product.From start to finish Daniel was very helpful, providing a competitive quote, and kept us advised of the progress of the order. So far as fitting was concerned, an excellent job carried out by Daniel and Phil. Very neat and tidy. Definitely a Company to consider when thinking about shutters.

Wonderful experience start to finish. We received quotes from multiple providers and the quote from Daniel at Hardwood Shutters was the most competitive one. The survey and installation was done perfectly. They are very knowledgeable and gave us a lot of good advice about design etc. very pleased start to finish . Our new shutters look lovely.

We used The Hardwood Shutter Co to install shutters on all our windows (9) and our French doors leading to our garden. We also approached a national chain at the same time for a quote.

The national chain’s quote was almost 3 times higher than The Hardwood Shutter Co. The lead times were the same. The options (color, style, etc…) were all the same. In fact, the quote we received from Daniel wasn’t that much more expensive than if I ordered the bare products myself and attempted to DIY!

During the assessment, Daniel took his time to measure all our windows. He also made sure we understood our options about which side opens first, how mixing that up across windows might be beneficial or detrimental, etc…. Mainly, he just wanted to make sure we had all the information we needed to make the best decision. He would also add in his own experiences on what he’s seen did and didn’t work for other clients.

They’ve now been installed and I honestly can’t imagine an installation going any better than Daniel did. The fit and finish look perfect, even though our windows are definitely not square. The shutters were installed in about half a day. They were very flexible in where they started (we asked them to start upstairs so later in the day our daughter could have her nap). And they were extremely respectful of our floors and finishes. Our house looked cleaner when they left than when they arrived.

Fantastic company to deal with. Honest, professional and courteous throughout. Product is excellent and we were delighted with the care taken during installation. The end product is exactly what was promised. Very happy customer and we would highly recommend. Our neighbours have all commented on how great our shutters look.

This company were open, honest, and approachable about delivery and processes. Their prices were very competitive, particularly when compared to the big corporations. The product is really well made. We did have a small warranty issue and it took a while for the factory to send the replacement part, but once it arrived, the replacement item was quickly fitted. On balance, I would certainly recommend this company to prospective buyers of wooden blinds.

We have now had all our windows done. A superb job done with care and expertise. Such nice people too!

Highly recommended! I had found out about the company whilst searching online. We had nine shutters installed, with one large one covering our patio doors. The guys were very professional and polite and the shutters were all fitted in one and a half days. All the packaging was discarded immediately into their van, and they cleaned up as they went along. My Wife and I are very happy with the shutters and they look amazing. They use hardwood rather than moulded MDF, and the quality and finish are to a high standard.

The Hardwood Shutter Company is one of those companies that you know you can trust in every way.
Phil and Daniel took exceptional pride in everything they did. Our cottage was full of odd angles yet somehow Phil managed to fit the shutters so that the cottage seemed to have been built around the shutters rather than the other way around!

What can I say about our beautiful shutters... They were fitted just this morning and I have to jump straight on here to recommend one of the friendliest and most professional companies I have ever had the pleasure to meet. The skill and craftsmanship that has gone in to our shutters is absolutely fantastic. The fitting , the materials used and the final product are just brilliant. I can absolutely not recommend the team enough!!!. I’m eyeing up the next room to get fitted. If you are even a little bit tempted by shutters just do it as these guys are brilliant! Will recommend to everyone who will listen , thank you so much!

We have just had 2 x 4 panel shutters installed on 2 patio doors. Really pleased with the finished product and the whole experience from the initial call, the fitting process and the end result. They look really great and set off the room brilliantly. It now looks very sylish and 'finished'.

From start to finish, very professional and outstanding service. The shutters are excellent and we are extremely pleased with the final result. The team were very courteous. During the fitting the team cleaned everything as they went and even took additional care by wiping down all surfaces with antibacterial wipes. In addition to the excellent fitting, the aftercare offered was excellent too.
