Don't if you want a fast delivery!! Appalling

Sub standard business. Stop paying cheap companies to deliver!
Absolutely appalling. Despite emailing both the company (numerous times) and the ridiculous Aramax delivery company they use (which means your parcel just gets sent to the cheapest delivery option) I purchased on the 23/01/2026 I'm still waiting after numerous emails to both and then get an email from Aramax this morning it could be another week but can't tell you where it is! So it will be over a month. All you get from them is your usual standard letter of 'we will prioritise and contact Aramax' then no follow up. I have an online business and I would be raked through coals for treating customers like this. Also difficult to find reviews because people think it's the UK The Gift Company who dont deliver to Australia. One thing I will always do is give honest reviews. Yes I was angry when the owner phoned me and simply blamed the courier company Amarax. Although when I phoned back it has been agreed in writing that if my parcel has not arrived by the 20/02/2026 he would refund my order. Have one look at the Amarax delivery company reviews they are appalling. But I will not give a positive review to a business that does not take accountability. So we will see next Friday if I haven't received my parcel whether the owner sticks to his promise. ?!! He did say they were changing to a different delivery company in Victoria which tells me he knows about the problems with Aramax. And Aramax simply sent me the same generic replies over and over. No help at all.

Awesome range and good service.

I’ve been a long standing customer of The Gift Company, they have alway been a great option for gifts but also treats for my house. Love the range and always excited to see what they are launching next.

BEWARE - Defective perfume - refused a return/refund

Sold me a defective (and very expensive) perfume that has lost its scent, whether it was old stock or a fake I don't know (they do sell dupe perfumes under their own 'OFLY' brand so who knows...). Either way they were disinterested to investigate why this perfume was defective and flatly refused a refund.

HIGHLY unethical company that sold me a defective product, which they refused to let me return to substantiate my claims, or refund me.

They then threatened me with legal action for 'defamation' when I left a negative review on Google about the quality of the perfume I received from them, and their refusal to investigate or refund me. It is not defamation when it is a true and factual representation of my experience with this company.

I see now they have gotten other negative reviews removed from Google to falsely increase their rating.

Really dodgy practices from this company - I'd go elsewhere unless you want an experience like mine.

EDIT: Please see the aggressive response from this company. I have a genuine issue with their product and they are not only disinterested in investigating, but also when a genuine bad review results in this situation, they threaten me with legal action.

Really poor form and terrible customer service from this company. Not professional at all. Not worth the risk with purchasing an expensive perfume. BEWARE!

Note: this is not 'abuse' as they claim but a legitimate review of my terrible experience with this company. They sold me a faulty product I can't use and I have lost my money. They have gone on to harass me and threaten me. Tread carefully with these people - truly unprofessional and awful behaviour.

FURTHER UPDATE: I note they have changed their company name to TGC to avoid people finding this legitimate review (and I see another legitimate negative review has followed mine). Can you get any more dodgy?! Absolutely no accountability.

Do not use this company - absolute worst company and there are so many other great companies to choose from who won't rip you off!

Hi Elissa, we’re disappointed to read this review as it contains serious allegations that are factually incorrect. This response is based on your false accusation on your review on Google.

The fragrance (perfume) was supplied sealed and brand new at the time of purchase (October 2025) and we only stock 100% genuine products sourced from authorised Australian suppliers. We do not sell counterfeit items.

Your request for a refund was made months (February 2026) after purchase and use saying you can’t smell it anymore, therefore we are unable to offer a return or refund in these circumstances.

Accusations that we are “scammers” or that the product is “fake” are false and may be defamatory. We ask that you remove or amend this review to reflect the facts. If it remains published in its current form, we reserve our rights and will consider seeking legal advice to protect our business.

We stand firm on this response as you do not have the right to abuse the reviews system to harass companies, specifically small companies trying to sell.
