I've been involved in training dogs since 2007 and have done many many courses for my CPD. I Joined the Dog Trainer School a couple of years ago, and loved not only their content, but support and ethos. It didn't take any persuasion to sign up for the 'Year of reactivity, level one and two and didn't regret one moment. It's one of the best courses I have done. All tutors are so committed to the teaching and support in such a fun and kind way, that learning from them is a pleasure. I enjoyed it so much, I had to sign up for the 'Year of scent' too. I can't wait...I really am looking forward to it..

I signed up for both the first and second levels of the year-long reactivity course, and it was a fantastic experience. The instructors were engaging and easy to talk to, making the learning process much more enjoyable than simply reading textbooks. I discovered various perspectives on scent and play, as well as effective techniques to address reactivity.

Last March I started the Year of Reactivity course with The Dog Trainer School (TDTS). I had signed up as a member for a few reasons: a friend was a member and spoke very highly of TDTS, and it was, and still is, an affordable membership.

I’ve spent a lot of money in the past on training courses, both online and face to face. For most of them, I came away feeling deflated, often with little or no learning support. I have a reactive dog, so I was excited to start this course, but also apprehensive.

It turned out to be the best course I have ever done. The content was packed with information and delivered in a clear, practical, enjoyable way. There were monthly live sessions with Adrienne and Lee, all of which were recorded so I could catch up later if other commitments clashed, they are now available to me for the lifetime of my membership.

If you haven’t heard of Adrienne Wisok, do yourself a favour and look her up. She is a truly talented trainer, a fountain of knowledge, and an exceptional teacher.

The support throughout the course was unwavering. The TDTS team worked tirelessly behind the scenes to make this course enjoyable and user friendly. This was not a thrown together “pay your money and get on with it” course. Live clinics were arranged to discuss real client cases, and the Facebook community of course members was incredibly supportive. Everyone more than happy to help one another. I’ve never experienced anything like it.

The price is affordable and well and truly worth every single penny. I loved this course. The only reason I’m not sad it’s finished is because I’m starting Year of Scent at the end of January.

Great course, i enrolled on the level one and Level two of a year of reactivity. Instructors are fun, approachable and they make learning so much more enjoyable, than just reading theory.
I have learnt different ways of looking at scent and play and how reactivity can be helped using different methods.

The information given, tasks set, resources shared and support given are just incredible!
It’s given me so much confidence to get out there and put everything into practice knowing that I have TDTS and the community there to reach out to if needed.

I've been doing the Level 1 & 2 reactivity coach program, it's been absolutely brilliant, I've learnt so much, and now have the confidence to build my own reactivity program.

I have been a member of The Dog Trainer School for quite some time, I signed up for their Year of Reactivity course knowing fully this was not an avenue I wanted to pursue. 1 year later and I can honestly say I was so wrong. This course and its instructors have inspired my confidence in my knowledge of reactivity and sparked a passion i didnt know existed. best course out there!

I have been training for many years but always learning and the support The Dog Trainer gives is second to none. Like minded people sharing sensible and practical training ideas, brain storming sessions to help resolves problematic cases and above all, for me, their outstanding Approved Reactivity Coach programs. These programs, of which I am currently working through Level 2 are a breath of fresh air. Well structured with practical aspects throughout and support to enable trainers to genuinely and sensibly transfer the skills to help reactive dogs and just as importantly, their owners. With modern advice coupled with years of experience and a wealth of knowledge between them, The Dog Trainer School's reactivity programs are highly recommended. They have been far more informative than any other reactivity course I have subscribed to.

I have been a member of The Dog Trainer School for sometime now. I highly recommend them. I have been on several in person courses aswell as online courses and mentorship program . This weekend I attended my latest course which was the Skills weekend. The weekend was outstanding and so helpful and informative. With fresh ideas for training and huge support and inspiration. These guys are brilliant at what they do and they provide a community where Dog Trainers can feel safe and supported with all aspects of CPD, buisness and back up. A brilliant place to grow yourself and your buisness.

I have been a member of The Dog Trainer School for a while now, but this past weekend I attended my first in-person Practical Skills Weekend and it was absolutely fantastic.

As a relatively new trainer The Dog Trainer School has been a valuable lifeline, and the Skills Weekend gave me a huge boost of confidence and motivation.

It was incredible to see such a mix of people and dogs all get to participate and all learn and enjoy themselves. Lee, Helen and Adrienne are so passionate about what they do and their knowledge and kindness is second to none.

I would 100% recommend anyone attend one of these weekends, regardless of your experience as there is so much to soak in!

Would absolutely recommend to any trainer looking for a supportive community and to add to their practical skills.

I attended The Talking Dogs Rally Instructor Course and I can honestly say I had the best time! This course was so much fun and I would highly recommend it to anyone wanting to learn some more skills or just have a go at something fun and enjoyable with their dog.
I had such a great time and would absolutely do it all again! Thank you so much to everyone involved-for the time, hard work and energy you put into making this weekend such an enjoyable experience. 😄

I attended the 2 day Practical Skills weekend this weekend.
What can I say! Absolutely jam packed with training ideas for classes, 121 sessions, workshops and your own dogs!

More Than that though, it was hands on experience with my own dog, in a space packed full of other, like minded and incredibly supportive other dog trainers.

The things we learnt were all about simplifying it for our clients and making it fun for them so we increase that bond!

I have come home feeling exhausted, but filled with more motivation, inspiration and ideas than I know what to do with! Ha!

Thanks SO much for a brilliant weekend. Fab ideas for classes/121’s and advice for how to work with clients in challenging situations. I have come away feeling like I’ve had a total brain refresh of ideas that I can’t wait to try & implement. Some ideas I did already know as well, but it’s actually been quite a comfort to know I AM DOING GOOD and what I’m teaching is a good way to go about it!
Also what a brilliant bunch of trainers to network with & dogs to meet. Highly recommend booking onto a course with TDTS — especially the Skills weekend! 👏🏼👏🏼

The mentorship program has been invaluable. Quick weekly catch-ups and monthly Zoom sessions have answered all my questions, from training to marketing.

A brilliant Saturday in Peterborough a few weekends back with The Dog Trainer School! I attended their Workshops workshop, Lee & Helen were both so welcoming and made me feel at ease instantly.

The Workshops workshop was fantastic, I had a great day learning new things and they've helped me come up with new workshop ideas for my business.

Lee made sure that the course was tailored to exactly what the attendees wanted to get from the session with a perfect mix of theory and practical elements to the workshop as well as a few breaks. I also loved Helen's talk on marketing at the end as this is something I really need to improve on.

I would 100% recommend The Dog Trainer School courses to anyone looking to learn new things or improve their knowledge further. I plan on signing up to their membership.

Brilliant weekend in Peterborough for 2 courses with The Dog Trainer School! Attended “The Workshops Workshop” & “121 Power Pack” & thoroughly enjoyed both of them. Lee makes sure he’s tailoring the courses to what the attendees want to get from the session as well as his training and advice too. I have attended several courses with The Dog Trainer School and I always come away learning something new and coming away feeling refreshed and excited about my business. I attended the Training Skills Development Day and had a fantastic day. Lee & Helen made us feel welcome and steered the day around what the trainers attending wanted to cover, rather than having a strict agenda to follow. This ensured that we got the most out of the day and left feeling more confident and energised about our role as trainers. I would highly recommend the course to anyone thinking that they need additional skills to drive their business forward.
