I placed an order with multiple items including spices, cosmetics of different brands etc and it seemed like I had all I needed in one place, only many of the items listed, especially in the cosmetics section, for Forest Essentials were not available. The company sent me messages on WhatsApp saying that 1 item was not available and suggested an equivalent replacement to which I said yes but a few days later they started to send me a list of many items that were not available and suggested to refund me these. The main reason for my order was a need for an anti hairfall serum which was validated on my order but was not actually available and they told me that there was no equivalent to replace it with but actually there was the bigger size of it. Their website is not up to date and the customer service is really bad as they took so long to answer me mostly that I thought it was a scam. They did not give me any replies on the reimbursements whatsoever and after I threatened them, one day I just saw a reimbursement from them without any mails or messages from them. Also, I had to be very strict with them so that they finally sent my order. The order arrived a month later (they claim that you will be delivered within 6-8 days, which is untrue). The package arrived and 1 cream had leaked onto everything else but otherwise was okay and the remaining order was present and I did not have to pay anything upon receipt of the order so I was pleased with that. Overall, even with these issues I could order things from them again in the future (not food items that can rot) but they are quite decently priced and plan well in advance as the parcel could arrive much later than planned.

It was a wonderful experience ordering with the desi food.com. I ordered on 4th June and the order was revived on June 13 at Kuala Lumpur Malaysia. Packaging was good and we got what we ordered of high quality. Thank you team The Desi Food for seamless experience. I will highly recommend if someone who is looking for Indian products abroad.

Easy-to-navigate website. Great packaging. The product has a good shelf life.

I ordered Odomos, a very good repellente based on aloe vera and citronella, very gentle on the skin and tough on the mosquitos.
I love Natural indian product and thedesifood Is a serious Company.

Rating can be 4.5 but I didn’t have the option here. I ordered pickles and fresh sweets and they arrived in good state and remained fresh as we get in Hyderabad. I think we will not miss the authentic food any more. They are no custom clearance hassle from our side. Meanwhile I had a query and they resolved it swiftly. Only pain point was that the turn around time from the day I ordered was 15th May and parcel arrived on 2nd June. Courier tracking was also not correct as it stated same update for 4days meanwhile the courier also arrived.

Worst service I ever seen. Almost one month since ordering. Not delivered yet. Before wrong parcel delivered and then pickup and not no any clarification , no any Delivery date provided. Just blindly Waiting for the order. We paid and we only suffered. I strongly recommend do not use thedesifood. These is alots of good supplier please go for them. If you people want to suffer feel free order from thedesifood.

When ordering they mention we will deliver in 2 weeks but in reality they do not care. Only interested in taking your money. And do not respond to emails or calls.

I am extremely disappointed with my recent purchase of brown poha.

All the packets had a very strong chemical smell. Initially, I thought the smell might be coming from one packet, so I opened three packets at the same time. Unfortunately, all three packets had the same strong chemical odour. Due to safety concerns, I had no option but to throw away all three opened packets.

This is completely unacceptable and alarming, as food products should never have such a smell. I have attached photographs for your reference.

I request:

An immediate full refund, and

Arrangement for someone to collect the remaining unopened packets from my address at the earliest.

This has been a horrible experience, and I expect this issue to be resolved urgently.
