Good customer service, fast and fair exchange rates
My first time using The Currency Club.
I had two relatives visit who had brought US dollars to the UK, obviously not understanding how much high street places charge to buy foreign currency.
Some of the notes were old (1996 series) so I checked with the customer services before sending them. Leo replied promptly asking for photos, he then confirmed the notes were acceptable.
The process was rapid and quite straight forward and resulted in a significantly better exchange rate than the Post Office or supermarkets.
I would definitely use the service again if needed.

The best exchange rate I found for a buyback. They are fast and very transparent with conditions and customer service. I have used them at least 10 times in 3 years and they never let me down.

Please avoid this company, I was asking very basic questions around how they gain their commission from a buy back order and they told me the following - “are you here to order or ask question about my business” from the representative Leo. Who was quite rude and very suspicious of me asking questions around the dealings of this company.

Currency not delivered on time
The foreign currency was delivered late and not in the time frame agreed - therefore I was not able to take it on my trip (it was just sitting at home waiting for me on my return). I wasn't told the reason for the delay and my order was not cancelled as I requested. Will not use Currency Club again.

Now used CC for bank transfer and cash requirement on multiple occasions. Recipient bank now on CC system and transfer exceptionally expedient with good communication on progress. Very competitive exchange rates. Cash delivered exactly when expected and communicated.

Excellent service with payment made easily and leisurely by bank transfer. Delivery of currency is always fast and efficient. Exchange rates offered are always competitive and often the best available, especially for less obviously popular currencies.

Always dubious about ordering cash…
Always dubious about ordering cash online, however odering with the currency club was easy and the delivery was tracked through Royal Mail. My money turned up when expected. But I would reccomend that you are in when it turns uo so you can sign and get it straight away rather than collecting at the post office.
