Fas*ism and big*try is alive and well in The Counter House .We went with the intention of a meal for fathers days and decided to have a drink first . We sat OUTSIDE ON THE PEDESTRIANISED ROAD (not inside) Ordered drinks and requested an ash tray . Now first let me say I don’t smoke but I believe in others rights to do so in a legally legislated allowed area or :OUTSIDE ! No walls no ceiling in public .Not under an awning or gazebo COMPLETELY OUTSIDE !! We were told there was “no smoking or vaping allowed” OUTSIDE ?! Reason “people eating at the tables” THERE WAS NOBODY EATING OUTSIDE everyone was INDOORS , but there was several VAPING contrary to the NO VAPING OR SMOKING FAS*IST RULE !! There were also dogs defecating and urinating at the outside tables but apparently there is NO Rule against that ?! So legislation/law rules you can smoke outside and this is to accommodate EVERYONE , no smoking inside to accommodate non smokers see ?! That’s fair but the fas*ism and big*try of THE COUNTER HOUSE say OUR POLICY Supersedes government law ?! Newsflash it DOES NOT !! FACT !! INTOLERANCE WITH AN OVER ACCOMMODATION FOR ONE GROUP OVER ANOTHER IS HATE / big*try /fas*ism and undemocratic!! Then to ignore their very own rules by ALLOWING VAPING is even more intolerant so what “THE COUNTER HOUSE” IS ACTUALLY SAYING IS

To test this we sat outside NAM AND ELNECOTTE -JANE EYRES- RUDYS And guess WHAT ?!, they all accommodated us with an ashtray and NO INTOLERANCE FAS*ISM OR BIG*TRY !! AMAZING eh ? SO NEEDLESS TO SAY WE DID NOT EAT AT THE COUNTER HOUSE ! Why would we ? Three other couples spoke to us and said they were moving down to the pub on the corner or anywhere else other couples went to the cafe on cutters square and gave us the thumbs up to show guess what ? That’s right they had no issue with people SMOKING OUTSIDE EITHER !! So if you are a smoker stay away from THE COUNTER HOUSE , they are intolerant big*ts- “J*ES” orders according to the waiter/server guy and even he admitted in his own word he thought the rule was Bull**it and he was extremely embarrassed to have to try to enforce it and said it made him uncomfortable and gave him anxiety .Well ! What can be said other than to probably read some ridiculous and petulant reply with no legal grounds or acceptable personal choice to ridicule and subvert and embarrass any customer for daring to smoke at their OUTSIDE TABLES WHERE ON THIS OCCASSION THERE WERE NO DINERS and even if they were and these diners didn’t smoke - they have NO GROUNDS LEGALLY OR MORALLY to expect a non smoking environment- its OUTSIDE ! Don’t like it? eat indoors “it’s not all about you “ .
The rest of our party ,six more, joined us and we ate and drank elsewhere with a bill of almost £400 . THE BIG*TED FAS*IST COUNTER HOUSES' loss .So big applause for the intolerant “COUNTER HOUSE “ !! Last words DO NOT GIVE THIS ARROGANT , legally unsupported fas*ist big*ted intolerant company your cash when it expects you to bow to its “policies” that will favour others’ choices and lifestyles over yours. There is no reasonable debate or argument to be had , NONE !! Outside it is lawful to smoke and others outside, whether dining or not, MUST accept that-but apparently if eating at the counter house they can have your RIGHTS TAKEN AWAY with a “ J*E policy” That we are told supersedes law !! Never ever will we or our friends and family go to this FAS*IST restaurant again . We live near and frequent cutters square at least three times a week , every week and weekends in summer especially. THE COUNTER HOUSE WILL BE LEFT WHERE IT BELONGS - with its J*E POLICIES AND VAPERS and defecating dogs AT TABLES in N*ZI CUCKOO LAND WITH ITS UNLEGISLATED “ J*E POLICIES “ in my rear view mirror . Dreadful establishment .Stay away is my advice especially if you want your rights in tact, but wait for it , they will undoubtedly in true N*zi fashion try defend this treatment of smokers on spurious grounds already mentioned but everyone will see right through it.
