I am sharing my personal experience to provide transparency and help other users understand the potential risks involved.
I discovered and used The Change through a cross-chain swap aggregator (SPACE SWAP), where this platform was listed as one of the available options for completing a crypto exchange. Based on the visibility and presentation on the aggregator, I proceeded with the transaction in good faith.
On this platform, I used more than 9,000 USDT to purchase BTC. After the funds were successfully transferred on-chain, The Change requested additional compliance and source-of-funds information. I fully cooperated and provided bank transfer records related to the acquisition of my cryptocurrency, demonstrating that my funds originated from normal and lawful exchange activity.
It is important to note that, as an end user, I do not have visibility into or control over the upstream source of funds held by third-party services that exchanged USDT with me. Nevertheless, after demonstrating that my own transaction was legitimate, I continued to cooperate fully and submitted all materials requested by the platform, including but not limited to detailed written explanations, photos, videos, location information, and other supporting documentation.
Despite my full cooperation, there was a period of over two weeks during which the platform did not respond to my emails at all. Only after I sent three consecutive follow-up emails and applied formal pressure for an update did the platform finally respond. At that point, I was informed that, due to its internal Anti-Money Laundering (AML) assessment, the refund request could not be approved.
No alternative resolution was offered, and my funds remain inaccessible to this day.
What concerns me most is the following:
• The platform was presented to users through a cross-chain aggregator, which can reasonably create an impression of credibility and prior vetting.
• I cooperated fully, transparently, and in good faith throughout the entire compliance process, including providing clear evidence of my own source of funds.
• There was no clear disclosure prior to the transaction that, even when a user can demonstrate legitimate activity, funds may still be withheld indefinitely with no refund or recovery mechanism.
I am not making allegations beyond my own experience. However, I believe it is important for potential users to be aware that using this platform may involve a significant risk of funds being frozen without an effective resolution, even when all compliance requirements are met.
I strongly recommend that anyone considering this platform carefully evaluate these risks before proceeding.

The Change is not a cross-chain aggregator and does not control how third-party platforms, including SwapSpace, list or route transactions. Being displayed on an aggregator does not imply prior vetting of users and does not remove our independent AML and Source of Funds (SoF) obligations.
While we acknowledge that certain documents were provided, successful SoF verification requires confirmation of the full transaction chain, not only a user’s personal explanation. In this case, the verification could not be completed, which legally prevents us from releasing or refunding the funds.
Receiving assets to a personal wallet does not automatically establish beneficial ownership under AML regulations. When red flags are identified, the law does not allow alternative resolutions or discretionary refunds.
All actions taken by our platform are strictly governed by applicable AML laws and are not subject to override by external platforms, aggregators, or public pressure.
We encourage users to carefully assess AML risks when using any aggregator-based service.

I submitted my KYC to TheChange.ltd in good faith because I was interested in partnering with them. Despite my submission being valid and complete, they rejected it without providing any real reason or proof. I'm now seriously concerned they may have just taken my personal information without any intention of following through. They have blocked me and they avoid any contact. Be careful—this is a scam.
Imagine if they decline simple KYC for a partnership request, how they would handle your frozen funds when exchanging through them...
They will probably reply here and say i tried to deceive them. Why would i deceive them and how? If i wanted to deceive anyone in any way i would go to their competitors, who don't ask kyc at all... They are the only ones they asked me and now i see why.
I have all proof needed (everything is recorded on video).

The individual in question initially expressed interest in a partnership, and as part of our internal procedures, was asked to complete a standard KYC verification. During the verification process, we identified clear signs that the submitted documents belonged to another person (commonly referred to as a "drop"), which is a direct violation of our security and anti-fraud policies. Based on this, the partnership request was declined.
Following the rejection, the user began sending threats and posted several identical negative reviews across multiple platforms. Despite the fact that the documents indicated Ukrainian citizenship, the individual insisted on communicating exclusively in English and refused to provide even minimal confirmation of identity during our interactions.
We strictly follow international AML/KYC standards to ensure the safety of both our company and our clients and partners. All partnership decisions are made based on concrete findings—not on assumptions or personal bias.
We have no intention of discrediting anyone, but we are obligated to respond to public accusations that do not reflect the truth.
