What a great family run business.

I am nervous and sceptical when buying a car, I'm sure I'm not alone. We were met by two brothers who could not have created a better first impression. No cringy sales tactics, just excellent and genuine customer service.

We only went there to see the type of car we liked, with no intention to buy. However everything lined up, all boxes were ticked. They clearly have a passion for getting the right result for their customers.

I would definitely recommend going here.

Dangerous car?
I bought a car from this company at the end of January 2025 . One of the main reasons were A the positive reviews on Trustpilot and B it had AA standard certification. Well, I am horrified that a car can pass a MOT in October but when checking the car tires In June three of the Tyres had metal wire treads showing, now that’s dangerous! Also the engines mounts bolts missing from engine so again highly dangerous especially for my daughter as a first car. After bringing it to our own mechanic of 30 years he said it was in a horrendous state! Another mechanic needed to get a specialist engineer to look at the engine bay.
I could go on , but I agree with a recent post that this company needs legal action to be taken against them. Simply dangerous!! Avoid at all costs.

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS SELLER!!!!!!!! The Carspot failed to inform me of multiple major faults with a vehicle they sold me prior to signing of contracts despite telling me multiple times they were aware of these issues.
The car has significant tracking faults and every time it has been driven the electrical system fault light and traction control fault light have come on.
The vehicle was not roadworthy but when I reached out to request a refund or repairs they were extremely hostile and defensive. The manager, Hassan, has hung up on me multiple times, and has not responded to any emails or messages. I'm now pursuing legal action to resolve this problem. Avoid this seller at all costs.

Very helpful. Mark went out of his way to help me get the right car. He explained everything and made sure the car was absolutely perfect. Great service, great garage, and fantastic cars. This garage supports everyone and meets all your needs.

Just brought my car from The car spot, can not tell you what a pleasure it was, I was greeted by Mark, who took me through all the paper work, signatures etc, then took me for a tour of the car, which is only seen in pictures but was exactly as the pictures showed, Mark then showed me how to set up my phone and showed me all the important bits in car and how it all worked, absolutely brilliant service I received l, Mark was friendly and welcoming, would definitely recommend

Any small issues with the car were swiftly corrected and for my first car i cannot complain at all.

I write this review in malice as a chap in the car spot phoned me up and i missed the call
so i phoned back and the jist of the call was not because he was concerned about my experience but just because I left a bad review about the company,
appalling.

I originally spoke to Ian when I made enquiries about buying a Citroen C3 Picasso petrol with semi-automatic gearbox. He said there would be no problem taking my diesel Picasso in part exchange. We went from Dundee to Manchester, and stayed with friends. Mark took us through the process of buying the car, and it was an enjoyable experience. He also gave me a good price for my Picasso.

The service my husband and I have received from The Car Spot has been exceptional. Hassan, Oliver, Ian and Mark have all been excellent and have gone above and beyond to source a car I wanted and get it in tip top condition.
They have been so patient with me when there were times they probably wanted to throttle me and wished I'd not set foot on the forecourt.
They are all friendly, down to earth and very helpful....unlike so many car dealerships around.
They also have a great coffee machine and are probably out of pocket from the amount of cups we've had.
Highly recommended.
