This website is a scam and is a fake of the real company 'The Brightside Clinic'
Do not confuse this scam website with the legit Australian company "The Brightside Clinic" using a similar website url: "brightsideclinic.com.au" (the legit company has trustworthy ratings and offers completely different health services). The scammer's fake brand on their Aussie website is: "The Bright Side Health" (which is also similar to another legit health company who have positive reviews).
Scammer website: thebrightsideclinic.com.au -- is a fake - Do not buy their products. Do not fall for their misleading advertising and deliberately deceptive checkout process.
They are not even Australian, and this website is simply set up to trick Australians into assuming that pricing is in Australian dollars - when it's actually in USD with no communication of this until after payment. After selecting to buy a product on the Australian-looking website, the checkout page takes you to a completely different US website and they do not display USD currency.
The scammer sells a lot of health products including Orivelle / TryOrivelle (tryorivelle.com) - and each product takes you to a unique website for that product, a website setup with deceptive check out processes tricking you into buying additional orders with misleading headers like "Wait! Your order is not complete…” - even after they've already taken your money. The 'incomplete checkout progress bar' makes the customer think that they're confirming the same order, just with discount offers, but instead it adds on as an extra order, and with no chance to first review your total order before payment. After being tricked into paying for more than you expected, they make it impossible to cancel, claiming that your order has already been shipped, even minutes after the transaction. This is false — for my situation, the actual shipping confirmation only arrived 15 hours later.
The scammer seller's entity name is identified on payment records as: Astronara Trading FZCO
When you request a cancellation or refund they deny the problems, they deny that the currency wasn't communicated (I have screenshots to prove them wrong). They play dumb, stall with polite-sounding emails, and push you into a long return process that requires you to pay international postage. I've read from others that even the return process is an empty promise with more excuses like 'parcel not received', therefore no refund. And others have reported that they don't end up sending you the return label to cover the return cost.
Best advice: Do not waste time emailing them. Unfortunately the seller has set things up in a way that makes even Paypal disputes challenging.
Best to go straight to your bank and report the transaction. I'm aware that this seller has already been flagged with several banks, so the bank dispute process is often more straightforward that way.
I hope this review helps others to not get scammed.
