I brought my very sick dog to this…

I brought my very sick dog to this place. He had a leg that was not working well and an eye that was horribly infected, but I was not aware of that at this time. While I was there discharge from the eye was visible and the Dr who saw us just wiped it off with gauze but thought nothing of it and obviously she did not inspect his eye and if she did she didn't pick up on what was going on! This is what happens when you are assigned a kid who just got out of school! Sure she needs experience but don't get your experience at the expense of my dog who only has one eye to begin with! He is now not seeing well at all and bumping into walls! I could have had him on meds 4 days ago to get him better!! Well, the next day it was MUCH worse! It now had yellow discharge and he was squinting. A sure sign that he was in pain and he was shaking, another sign of pain. It was Friday so I could do nothing until today, Monday. I went to a specialist and thank God I did. My poor baby boy has a raging infection that the doctor doesn't see often! And the Dr at Beach House Vet didn't pick up on it at all! Beach House Vet ran all kinds of tests and found nothing wrong, meanwhile he had a raging infection is his eye, his only eye! I paid $800.00 for my dog to walk out of there being told nothing was wrong with him that they could see! I am furious about this! I would NOT go to this vet if I were you. The doctors are young and inexperienced. Just because you went to Vet med school, doesn't mean you know what you need to know and this young doctor surely does not know what she needs to know to treat your beloved pets. Steer clear of this place! BTW, I went to a canine Ophthalmologist and for the extensive exam and meds of which there are 6 of them which have to be administered every fours hours and through the night too and all it cost me was $378!! Right there you can see they are also price gauging! Find another vet that doesn't cost you your lungs!
