We booked the balloon lady in Doddington for our wedding, and she was incredible from start to finish. She created the most stunning staircase decorations, beautiful table centrepieces, and the sweetest buttonholes. Everything looked elegant, thoughtful, and perfectly matched what we had envisioned.

Her communication was unbelievable — she replied incredibly quickly, even at some ridiculously late hours of the night, which made the whole planning process so much easier and so much less stressful. You can tell she genuinely cares about her couples.

What really stood out was how carefully she listened to everything we asked for. She didn’t just deliver — she added her own lovely personal touches too. The little diamond‑style pins she used in the buttonholes were such a cute and unexpected detail, and they made everything feel even more special.

We couldn’t be happier with her work. If you’re looking for someone who’s talented, creative, and genuinely invested in making your day perfect, she’s the one.

Well what can we say about Laura at The Ballon Lady Wedding & Events apart from being OUTSTANDING and AMAZING! If we was able to score more than 5* we would!

From our first initial message we instantly connected and we was bouncing ideas off each other for our vision to come alive!

Laura knew exactly what we was thinking and how to bring our theme to life and to be special and spectacular!

Laura came up with some ideas i had not thought about and made it that extra special!

Laura done all our chair covers, sashes, hoods and red roses in the bows, we had a gorgeous floral hoop behind the ceremony table decorated with our theme in mind, fresh flower bouquet for the ceremony table then was moved to our top table, it was decorated in our theme beautifully! 2 floral stands decorated in red roses and greenery!

We also had all our tables decorated with blue napkins, gold charger plates, table centre pieces inkeeping with our theme and rose petals scattered around the mirror plates, light up love letters, a telephone audio guest book.

The wedding stationery was designed by Laura, the outcome was splendid and all our guests comment how amazing it looked and how Laura had covered every aspect and even down to the finer detail so it look amazing!

Throughout all the process Laura always kept in touch with any updates and she was always at the end of the phone if I needed any reassurance or to know everything was ready for the big day so it would run smoothly and take the stress away!.

Laura sent over proofs of the wedding stationery for our approval or to make tweaks if needed.

We would throughly recommend Laura for your wedding as you'll definitely would not be disappointed! And all your guests will be in awe of the finishing touches!

We had The Balloon Lady decorate the venue for my husband’s 65th birthday party. She was absolutely brilliant helping me decide what to have, as I had a vague idea but she offered so many more options I hadn’t thought of. It was great to talk through all the ideas for designs & colour theme. There was no pressure, we had a laugh & I was able to eventually make up my mind. She kept us informed of the design & printing along the way. On the morning she met us at the venue at the agreed time & came up with the perfect spot for the decoration that I hadn’t even thought of. She even went above & beyond when I came up with a little area I wanted filling that was an additional requirement.
With over 140 people attending the party, there was a lot of positive comments for the decorations & asking for her details.
There is so much dedication in this business as I know that she has very recently had another baby but still maintains the business to a very high standard.
I would definitely recommend this business & wouldn’t hesitate to use her again.

Amazing - I used Laura for my daughter’s 1st birthday party and it was brilliant. She had a wide range of options for me to choose from and what I did choose looked beautiful. Everything was put together really quickly and she arrived on time to set everything up. I would 100% use again and would recommend to anyone!

I’ve used Laura (The Balloon Lady) probably over 5/6 times the last 2/3 years for multiple different things…birthday balloons, grazing tables, party decor hire and more.
