With all 3 of our Pets we have been very satisfied by the level of care. I first came across the Avenue when i wanted a second opinion on my frail Jack Russell Rosie.Roland examined her in detail feeling her and said that he was pretty certain it was cancer and was quite advanced. The care in those few days was thoughtful and realistic to make her comfortable and to then put her to sleep when she had enough. The previous vet just wanted to push expensive diagnostics. Since then with our other Dog and 2 cats the care has been thoughtful and proactive. The Dog and One cat were overweight but they are now fitter and healthier. In a sense they help keep your pets healthy through positive action. You feel a great deal of trust and confidence and they they care as if they were their own pets.

Very efficient treatment. Roland cut cat’s nails as well, as they were a little long. He also advised on a dental product for Habibi as she has some minor gum issues.

Probably the best vets in the area. Great service, Dr Roland is knowledgeable and friendly and Billy is always helpful too. We do all of our visits there and never had any complaints. You can also book appointments online which is super easy and they also text you reminders for all medication and products the pet is on so you will not forget them. All in all always a great experience.

Vet is very informative, approachable and thorough. Great with anxious pets and also puts owners at ease, always well looked after and competitively priced also. Cant recommend highly enough best vet ever.

We had taken our cat to another local vet who had completely misdiagnosed its lethargy and lack of appetite. The other vet stated our cat needed an operation to remove bad teeth but were unable to fit us in for a couple of weeks. As our cat was so obviously suffering and getting weaker by the day, we approached Avenue vets. Rather than some bad teeth that needed to be extracted, Roland at Avenue vets did a thorough examination and concluded that our cat had advanced liver cancer. Roland showed us the yellowing in the eyes and ears, our cat could just about walk. Sadly we had to put our cat down and as hard as this was, the evident suffering that our cat was enduring, meant this was the only option. Avenue vets dealt with this extremely sympathetically and professionally, we weren't rushed and I really value the service they gave us.

The care and advice are excellent. I would thoroughly recommend them.

Avenue vet is an extremely professional yet loving clinic. You feel comfortable from the moment you enter. While I have not had any complex issues with my pet to be looked at, I find them very thorough in their approach. Would definitely recommend them to anybody I know who needs a vet.
