Kaustubh sir has a unique way of facilitation..He never imposes the concepts, rather he engages the participants into an activity and once it is completed, through probing questions he lets the participants derive the learnings..It is experiential and self exploratory..I have been participating in their online classes as well. And to my mind this is extremely hands-on training and teaching methodology and very much needed in today's technology driven world..I owe my heartfelt thanks to sir..

I have been a part of the Residency Program, Theatre Games and TTT for Applied Theatre.
There has been Great Learning with Loads of Insight into different forms of Applied Theatre methods and the best part of all these methods is that they are lucid and bring about Real Transformation within the individuals as they touch within.

I attended the TTT of Applied Theater recently and it was truly an awesome experience. Kaustubh is the perfect facilitator from whom there is a lot to learn from. Not a single dull moment, not a single prop and 2 days just flew by. I am so glad I got introduced to Applied theatre.

How much effect or transformation takes place after training is big question mark.
But DRAMA BASED FACILITATION makes a big impact. Experiential learning is what brings a deep realization and eventually transformation.

I had the opportunity to attend the Train the Trainer (TTT) workshop with Kaustubh Bankapure on 28th February and 1st March 2026, and it was a phenomenal learning experience.

What stood out most for me was how Kaustubh truly walked the talk. He demonstrated that applied theatre is about creating environments that are inherently participatory, exploratory, and reflective. Instead of relying on case studies, he used participants’ own lived experiences as the pretext for learning — whether first-hand experiences, witnessed moments, stories heard, or even imagined situations.

We worked through a wide range of theatre games, but what made the workshop powerful was not just the games themselves (many of which can be found online), but the journey from information to knowledge. By fully playing, embodying, and reflecting on the exercises, insights emerged organically. The learning was not delivered — it unfolded.

While we were not left with a heavy body of written material, the experiential depth of the workshop made it deeply memorable. It is rare to attend an event that is simultaneously insightful, enjoyable, and connective. I walked away with meaningful relationships, practical understanding, and a renewed appreciation for experiential learning.

I am deeply grateful to Kaustubh for facilitating this space, and I believe this is just the beginning of my journey in applied theatre.

Kaustubh is very grounded and knowledgeable. His trust in participants to arrive at their own learnings is commendable. He makes Applied Theatre very simple and easy to understand and apply.

The activities conducted throughout the sessions was very engaging.

We received a wonderfully engaging workshop in Leeds, UK, introducing us to the work of AT India. It was really interesting to hear about the growing, and valuable, work AT India are doing, and to get insight into how they facilitate theatre-based practices with communities. The workshop was very practical and hands-on, and the environment felt safe and supportive for us to explore and play.

I am Santhanagopalan from Chennai, behavioural trainer got an opportunity to do a Diploma in Applied Theatre and following modules were included.1.Fundamentals of Applied Theatre, Story Telling, Theatre of Oppressed, Theatre in Education and Facilitation process. Mr Kaustubh took Fundamentals of AT and Facilitation Process. His facilitation skills are amazing and knowledge in Applied Theatre is highly commendable where he made me understand concepts very well. I have understood the basic in AT where I have to explore more on the same. I thank for his patience to answer many question which was asked by me and now have good clarity on the Applied Theatre Fundamentals and Facilitation process. Mr. Kaustubh is driven by passion, many thanks to him and his ATI team for introducing me the nuances of Applied Theatre which will be remarkable in my training journey.

For one, all of them are sure of what they are offering, very assuring, interactive and also open.
The discussion the views are encouraged, there is no judging any one very positive and safe environment. There is a lot of knowledge sharing it’s more of two way interactive conversations rather than teaching or preaching.

ATI Foundation consists of people who are good at teaching Applied Theatre. This company has integrity, is responsible and sensitive to the current demands of this field.

It’s an ongoing learning experience.. every session gives an insight into a new aspect of Applied Theatre

Each session is great. The sessions are not limited to just a listening but each concept is explained and well elaborated with some hands on tasks and activities. Best part is the concepts are explained and the resources are made available for better and deep understanding. Each session induces listener to stood up and act. The repeated listening to sessions eradicates arising queries, difficulties I am facing while working with children at school.

Kaustubh Sir is an amazing facilitator! He's expert into experiential learning and he's facilitation style is contagious.

This is my repeated learning on this platform so can be understood my gains & empowerment because of ATI. I have done masters in Fine arts but ATI has given me practical application for facilitation in Corporate & education. This is my 3rd experience with Kaustabh and this time in the capacity of a Facilitator getting trained by him.
