Underwhelming experience
My thoughts on my trip to South Korea is somewhat split. The whole 10 days were spoilt by the weather, we had 2 days out of 10 without rain. Unfortunately, not due to the Adventure People, the weather led to several activities being cancelled. However our tour guide was magnificent in every way. She was professional, patient and her knowledge of the country, history and areas were next to non. The hotels that were booked for us were on the whole very nice, apart from the Hanok experience, which was probably the worst experience of my life. I have stayed in tents more luxurious than that. They gave one glass, which was dirty and 2 green tea bags, the toilet was disgusting, and I wont even go on about the shower over the sink, the flooding in the toilet and the slipping on the wet floor. We had to go up the road for breakfast. In one of the hotels, the handle came of the door and I had to endure a workman for 2 hours well into the night. The neighbours were not at all happy. I'm not sure i would recommend, it really depends what type of holiday you need.
Excellent trip
Excellent trip. I had a great time. Diwakar our guide was exceptionally good and ultimately became a close friend over the course of the trip. Would recommend using this company.
You pick amazing CEO for every part…
You pick amazing CEO for every part that we travelled. Ollie was so chilled and definitely made an effort to have genuine conversation with everyone in the group. We did have slight hiccups along the way but HE carried himself in such a professional manner that it didn't affect the group. This was the first time I travelled on an overnight train ride from Budapest to krakow it was and uncomfortable experience but when we arrived at the hostel in the early hour of the morning I personally didn't attend the morning breakfast or the tour that Ollie gave in Poland but I was very impressed that he conducted himself in such a way that he didn't reflect how tired he would have been and in less idle conditions he was in. I loved the freedom that was given through out this tour.
Great guide and team, bad organisation from G Adventures
Our guide Maju and the crew on the Lares Trek: Thomas, Edgar and Javier - were absolutely wonderful and deserve 5 Stars! Such care and attention, amazing!
But everything thing else, barely 2 stars. G Adventures itself really needs to give the customers reliable info.
From the wrong information about the arrival and briefing time, the stress to run to the office before it closes to get the gear, to the bad (loud, cold, no hot water, bad breakfast) rooms at the hotels, getting left behind by the other guide on the Storehouses hike in Ollantaytambo, etc. Sorry, but I won't return as a customer. I'd rather pay more and avoid such stress on a holiday.
P.S. Thank you for the reply. I booked directly with you, The Adventure People, so why did you put me on the G Adventures trip? I will certainly not book with you or G Adventures ever again.

The team couldn't have been any more…
The team couldn't have been any more helpful and accommodating. The trip was planned and executed perfectly, and made so much better by our guides Ram and Jam Jam😂. Amazing trip and couldn't recommend more.
Great EBC experience
I recently completed the trek to Everest Base Camp with The Adventure People, and it was an unforgettable experience!
Our wonderful guide Puja and her team were absolutely fantastic. They were knowledgeable, encouraging and always attentive to our needs, making sure everyone in the group felt supported and motivated throughout the journey.
The trek itself was gruelling but it was worth it! Puja and her team made it an awesome experience keeping us uplifted and motivated! Their guidance made a challenging adventure feel safe, well-managed and deeply rewarding.
I’m so grateful for this incredible experience and highly recommend them to anyone thinking about completing EBC!
Was the best experience and trip I’ve…
Was the best experience and trip I’ve ever had. Totally well looked after from ramchandra his brother Prakash and also to bradeek (jam jam) for our welfare throughout the whole trek. If you’re going to book with adventure people for EBC then this is the company to go with. 10/10 plus more! Absolute gentleman. Thanks again for everything. Love all from the KLI!

A group of us just finished the Everest…
A group of us just finished the Everest base camp trek and we can’t be any happier. Everyone from the adventure people have been brilliant start to finish. Ram and Prakash couldn’t have done more to help us along the way! Will definitely be back next year. Can’t recommend them enough!!
Women's Only Everest Base Camp
I just completed a women's only Everest Base Camp tour with Puja of The Adventure Group. Overall, I had a fantastic experience. My group had some challenging personalities and our fitness levels varied quite a lot and all were accommodated as best as possible. I am extremely impressed with how Puja handled last minute accommodation changes and I have to commend The Adventure Group's ability to handle the complicated logistics in the Himalayas. I was very pleased with the tea houses we stayed at and the food options that we have for breakfast, lunch, and dinner each day (especially the celebration dinner!). Airport pick up and drop off was seamless, including a helicopter flight from Namche to Kathmandu. The Adventure Group was quick to respond to any questions and was communicative via WhatsApp.
My recommendation for improvement - I'd love to hear more about Nepal's history and the history of mountaineering in the Himalayas at notable points during the tour (perhaps at Namche when we go to the Museum). I'm a sucker for interesting factoids throughout the day and I'm sure others would enjoy it just as much.
Everest base camp
We have just finished our treck to Everest base camp with the adventure people, they were absolutely fantastic very helpful and sort everything out. Our guide ram was fantastic a very wide knowledge on the Himalayas and I now consider him a friend! I cannot recommend using this group enough and I encourage anyone too book with this team. I’m already looking to book again for the Annapurna treck next year!
Thank you so much #theadventurepeople…
Thank you so much #theadventurepeople for amazing hospitality in Nepal and during all Everest Base Camp hiking. I felt cared for and surrounded by professional caregivers. During the trek, your guides demonstrated incredible knowledge, kindness, and support. I would love to recommended you to everyone who loves adventures. You definitely will be in the good hands.

Everest Base Camp Trek 6/10/2025
Everest Base Camp Trek 6/10/2025
From start to finish my experience with the adventure people has been fantastic.
Booking: was a very simple process and the information provided in the pack was very detailed. All my questions were answered promptly making the process very simple.
Arrival: after giving all my flight details I was met at the airport by a company representative and taken to the very lovely Ramada hotel in Thamel.
The team conducted an inbrief on the evening of arrival and any essential kit was provided (down jacket, duffel bag if needed). We were well briefed on what to expect and what essential items were required for the trek. There is a 15kg total weight limit for the flight to Lukla so, packing the right items is essential. Anything you may need can be easily sourced in Thamel from one of the many trekking shops.
The Trek: fantastic! I cannot praise our guide (Prakash) highly enough. He was very attentive and was able to help with every aspect of the trek (essential kit, health, required pacing, dealing with altitude, travel disruption, etc) his knowledge of the trek and especially describing the many peaks is first class - great guy! In fact, the whole team of assistant guides and porters were awesome.
Post trek: great outbrief and celebratory dinner with the team and fellow trekkers.
The trek itself requires some level of physical fitness however, the trek will require at least 90% mental fortitude. With the right mindset I believe most people can achieve this however, your mental game needs to be on point as it will thoroughly test you.
The Sagamartha region is very remote and amenities are extremely basic once past Namche Bazaar. The views are certainly worth the hardships.
I would highly recommend The Adventure People for a great trekking experience.
Everest Base Camp Trek - All Inclusive
Really amazing experience, super smooth process in terms of transfers from Kathmandu airport to hotel and internal transfers, really knowledgeable and friendly guides and super manageable pace of trekking! Had the best time and would highly recommend if you're thinking about doing EBC.
Brilliant service
Brilliant service. Amazing guides. Couldn’t have asked for a better time.
Nothing was too much trouble
Nothing was too much trouble to Indira and Parashu; from helping locate lost luggage to early access to hotel rooms and changing from airplane to helicopter flights. Our guide Sarala was absolutely wonderful , our health and wellbeing were her No 1 priority, ensuring we ate and drank appropriately at all times . Sarala used her
vaste experience to pace the walk to our abilities ,so even when conditions were quite challenging we were never in any distress. I cannot recommend her highly enough.
Everest Base Camp Trek - A Most Excellent Adventure!
My partner and I went with The Adventure People on the 14-day Everest Base Camp Trek. It was an incredible experience that will be difficult to top, walking the Himalayas in varied terrains and weather! Spectacular! We were exceptionally well looked after by our guide Anish, who took great care with our well being. When I was finding it tough with the altitude and breathlessness (and despite the training I had done to prepare), Anish walked with me at my pace and kept checking in to make sure I was ok. He also took care of our groups every need 24/7, and was very amenable and responsive to our requests. The tea houses we stayed in were basic but exceeded our expectations for a comfortable stay. Adventure People representatives also provided great advice and support - they want everyone to succeed! They also facilitated our journey back to Kathmandu via helicopter after our flight was cancelled, which added to the great adventure. An experience I cannot recommend highly enough!
