Good WordPress theme – horrible support. Don’t buy it.
I’ve been working with WordPress for years, and while The7 by Dream-Theme offers strong design flexibility, their customer support completely undermines the product.
I’m dealing with a specific issue that requires visual context, but their support system doesn’t allow screenshot uploads. The only workaround is to share a Google Drive link—which requires their email address. I’ve requested that email three separate times and have been ignored every time.
An email is also required to add a user to WordPress so they can access the site directly and properly diagnose the issue. Again, no response. That blocks the most basic and effective way to troubleshoot.
To make matters worse, the support rep either isn’t reading my messages or is deliberately avoiding the actual problem. Key details are being ignored, forcing repeated explanations and wasting time instead of resolving the issue.
From an operational standpoint, this is a breakdown in both process and accountability. When you’re managing client websites, support like this isn’t just frustrating—it’s a liability.
Bottom line: the theme may look good, but if something goes wrong, don’t expect real support.
