Beautiful 7 lath hanging shelf
I ordered a 7 lath shelf for my wee laundry room, arrived very quickly and well packaged. Exceptional quality and easy to put up. I decided to only use 5 laths in the end to allow more bulky items to be hung up and use hooks for undies! I really Iove it and was great price for quality - would definitely recommend!

Shabby products, rude customer service
I bought a length of jute rope for a laundry airer. After only weeks of use it was disintegrating and showering the laundry with shreds of jute.
(Note this is an airer which has worked fine for 20+ years with other ropes.)
Thatch & Stone were dismissive of my experience and blamed the airer pulleys, then charged me postage to send a cotton replacement which was too short and didn’t fit - and then rudely denied my request for a proper replacement.
So ignore their claims about ‘quality is at our core’. Poor product and rude customer service !

We're very sorry to hear that you were dissatisfied with our jute rope.
Unfortunately in your case, it sounds like the age of your pulleys being 20 years old (which were not supplied by us) has taken a toll on them, causing them to damage the rope. We have never had any bad feedback about our rope as we only use quality rope from a premium supplier in the UK.
Even with this being the case, we did replace the rope free of charge with you only having to pay the cost of the postage, which we believed to be more than fair - obviously you didn't agree, so we are sorry we couldn't help further on this occasion.
