While we don't verify specific claims because reviewers' opinions are their own, we may label reviews as "Verified" when we can confirm a business interaction took place. Read more
To protect platform integrity, every review on our platform—verified or not—is screened by our 24/7 automated software. Textshape is a free, browser-based tool for turning text into custom shape designs. Users upload a PNG image with transparency, enter the text they want to use, and Textshape fills the shape with those words — using the font, layout, and styling they choose. The tool was built for designers, merch creators, print-on-demand sellers, and anyone wanting to create typography art where a shape is built from specific words: a portrait composed of song lyrics, a heart filled with a personal message, a logo made of brand values, or a country outline written in place names. Most existing text-shape and word-cloud tools are limited in typography control, so Textshape was designed to put real creative control back in the user's hands. The tool offers multiple text flow patterns, including horizontal, vertical, circular, spiral, zigzag, and shape-edge following. It supports word-frequency scaling for automatic word-cloud effects, brightness-aware text rendering that adds depth to portraits and photo-based shapes, and per-word styling that lets users change the font, size, color, weight, or rotation of any specific word. Textshape ships with over 20 built-in fonts, including Google Fonts across sans-serif, serif, and handwritten categories, plus built-in background removal for turning any image into a usable shape and high-resolution export up to 3000×3000 pixels. Common use cases include t-shirt and apparel designs, posters, wall prints, social media graphics, wedding and event signage, and personalized gifts. Textshape is completely free and requires no signup or account. The tool runs entirely in the user's browser, so designs are generated locally on the device.

A very nice little text tool. You can shape pieces of text into a pre-designed form and make it fill exactly all the edges (except the bottom right corner). It is free (although you are constantly asked for a cup of coffee, and the cheapest coffee is €5), which naturally makes it even better.
If it were a paid tool, I would have some criticism regarding its user-friendliness. For example: if you want to do the same thing twice in a row on two pieces of text, you need an extremely good memory because the second time you have to set everything up again, and naturally, you want to do that in the same way as the first time. So you need to remember font, color settings, line spacing, word spacing, and so on. Another example: if you want to save your creation, you have to manually set the size every time. The tool therefore does not remember the size of the imported shape. And you also have to select the option to save it transparent every time.
The word cloud is a nice little extra. Just give it a try and see what the possibilities are.
