DANGEROUS - Do Not Buy. Catastrophic Weld Failure & Manufacturing Defects.

I purchased a brand new dump trailer from Texas Pride in October 2025, and it has been a nightmare from day one. As of this morning, we suffered a catastrophic structural failure: the main jack leg literally snapped right at the weld. The trailer is now dangerously balanced on just one remaining leg, making it immovable and a severe safety hazard—I am genuinely afraid it will fall over and crush someone. To make matters worse, the broken surface of the weld is already rusted inside, proving this was a pre-existing manufacturing defect due to poor workmanship, not a usage issue. This is just the finale of a long list of defects that make this trailer impossible to use. The build quality is appalling; we noticed from the beginning that the frame was slightly bowed—it looks like they used bent metal to build it. The trailer is also so unbalanced it squats our F450 even without a load. The hydraulic system is dangerously underpowered; it struggles to lift the dump bed even when completely empty, taking 3+ minutes just to cycle. The reservoir is too small, so it either runs out of fluid or spits it out during operation. The design is flawed to the point where the box gouges and rubs the spare tire every time we bring it down. On top of that, the tarp provided was undersized, the electrical plug was broken upon arrival, and fenders are falling off due to poor welds.
When we reported the lift issues to our sales rep immediately after purchase, he tried to claim we were overloading it—which is crazy, considering it struggles with zero load. He quickly shoved us off to the warranty department rather than addressing the fact that he sold us a lemon. We have been trying to just get work done and deal with these "smaller" issues, but this latest snapped, rusted weld proves these aren't simple warranty fixes—they are fundamental manufacturing defects. We haven't even reached the first major service interval (12 months) for this trailer, yet it is structurally falling apart. Now, instead of addressing this safety hazard, the company is stalling and dancing around our request. I don't want a repair on a structurally compromised unit; I want a full refund before this thing injures someone. Buyer beware.

Dont do it!!

Purchased a dump trailer from texas Pride in Oakridge Oregon in August 2023. Louis would NOT register this for me and said I would have to do it. I didnt think it was a big deal until they refused me the next day. I subsequently filled out a ton of paperwork and the Oregon DMV sent me back three letters over the months as Texas pride never registered their business in Oregon. I called Corporate and they didnt do anything. I called Louis and he didnt do anything. It's middle of November and I dont have plates yet so I hired an attorney and am going to sue their lousy business. I am a contractor and cant use this trailer for what I bought it for..A State job with California State parks. Stay away, these guys are rookies

No Quality

Lacking quality throughout the trailer which is why it is so cheaply priced. Do yourself a favor and purchase a Load Trail or PJ
