READ THE SMALL PRINT
I purchased a club from Teton Golf on 6/23. The small print said I was now going to pay $49.99 for some type of online teaching/ golf help service. I never took advantage of the service, did not understand the offering, and let it slide until 2/26. I should have noticed the credit card charges, but my wife, who reviews the credit card charges, thought they were for green fees. When I first called, I was told that they could only refund 10 of the 31 $49.99 payments. I thought that unfair, but said OK, fearing they might say "then forget about it". After the 10 had posted, I called back and requested 19 more $49.99 refunds. I felt that $99.98 (2 months of charges), along with the interest-free use of my money, would more than cover the "administrative costs". I was offered another 10 months of a refund, which I received. I ended up paying $549.89 for a service I never received. If there is true value in this offering, why is it not more prominently promoted in the sales literature?
