Nobody turned up. Rang the number who made the appt. The lady said it was booked in and someone would call me back. Hour and a half later I called again! She had lied to me and said another office was dealing with it! Gave me the number. They do not even have my details!
I asked to make a formal complaint. Was told I had to ring my OWN council when the problem lies with them!

I was cold called on my mobile phone by this company to say that they were doing an asbestos survey on behalf of Optivo (the housing association) and an appointment was made for two days time.
I immediately called Optivo to find out wether or not this company was legitimate and did indeed subcontract work to them. It appears from Optivo that I was not the only person who had been cold called by them, but they were indeed subcontracted by Optivo. I enquired wether Optivo had my mobile number, they confirmed that they had no record of my mobile number and that they would escalate this as they did not have a mobile number for me.
On the day of the 'inspection' an unmarked 13 year old saloon car without any Tersus sinage arrived and an 'employee' arrived without any obvious look of coming from Tersus other than a doggie tag saying the Tersus name and his picture (this you can produce yourself on any home computer), No company sinage on his clothing or jacket, not even a company logo on his T-shirt.
If I had not confirmed with Optivo that Tersus was indeed a legitimate company I would not have let him in the door.
After taking a lot of pictures of the inside of my home and drawing a floor plan on his tablet he left and took pictures of the outside of my home.
The layout of my home and its method of construction is already available to Optivo from its own records.
I then called Optivo and was told that I would have to call Tersus to make a complaint, after several calls to Tersus which all ended up with my call being placed on hold (with music playing) the call was disconnected by them.
A most UNPROFESSIONAL company, both in the way I was contacted and in the arrival of their representative. The fact that I could not call them spoke volumes about their company.
With no available way of contacting Tersus, this is why I post this review to warn others.
