While we don't verify specific claims because reviewers' opinions are their own, we may label reviews as "Verified" when we can confirm a business interaction took place. Read more

TermsDigest is a Chrome extension that helps everyday internet users understand the Terms & Conditions, Privacy Policies, and Refund Policies they encounter online - without having to read through pages of dense legal jargon. Built by Screenx Ltd, a small independent software studio based in the UK, TermsDigest was created from a simple frustration: almost nobody reads the legal documents they agree to, yet those documents quietly shape what companies can do with our money, our data, and our rights. We set out to fix that. Using AI, TermsDigest summarises long legal documents the moment a user hovers over a Terms or Privacy link. In seconds, they see what matters most: costs and renewal terms, cancellation and refund rules, how their data is used, and - crucially - any red flags or concerning clauses hidden in the fine print. Supporting quotes let users verify every claim against the original document. We take privacy seriously. We never store or sell summaries, we don't track browsing history, and we collect only what's strictly necessary to operate the service. Pro users can also bring their own OpenAI API key so their data bypasses our servers entirely. TermsDigest is used by online shoppers, subscribers, freelancers, and small-business owners across the UK, EU, and US. Our mission is simple: make the fine print finally readable - so people can make better decisions with confidence.
