The little company that prioritized customers has caved. For the most part, other than the occasional internet outage or modem issue over the past decade, things were pretty good...until they hiked... See more

The TV service doesn't work half the time, and they do not honor the pricing that was stated.
Waiting and no delivery
I chose Tek Savvy because it said I could get it sooner than any of the other places. I clicked the April 3rd box and have been sitting here waiting for it to arrive. I check the tracking and it says it will not get here till the 6 th. So I am upset. I could have went with someone else and still has it on the 6th. I called and the man said. We don't deliver on the weekends but yet they have it on there web page. Go figure . Did I learn my lesson. Yes can't trust any of them.

Therefore, I will not recommend this company to anyone
Sports Packages Disappeared Day of Jay's Home Opener
Been with Teksavvy TV since the start. It's been rough going for much of the time but the service finally seems to have stabilized over the past year. Then BOOM! On March 27, 2026, day of the Jay's home opener, my sports packages - Sportsnet and TSN disappeared! Tried to call support - 45 minute wait time! Still have no idea what's going on. Still no sports on March 29
Pain returning equipment
My household had TekSavvy due to pricing it seemed like a great option. In the few months we had them we didnt go a full day having internet, it would cut out multiple times a day sometimes for up to 4 hours, every single day. We called to cancel that in itself was a pain as I said no thank you multiple times to the lady on the phone trying to retain us. After almost an hour she finally said OK, you'll receive a return label for the modem. That was 6+ months ago. My husband has reached out multiple times asking for the return label and they never responded. Today we got a letter stating they were submitting the fees for the unreturned modem to collections. I reached out and let them know I will be disputing that if it happens as weve never received anything. Suddenly today we got the label, and the rep is stating they sent it multiple times and on what dates. Checked the email, and nothing, they're lying. They're also stating now that its been so long I have to pay a restocking fee. Lol no. Someone at Tek Savvy has been dropping the ball and now I have to pay for it? Not happening.
They are a scam of a company.
AVOID!
This used to be a company that did something right, they were competitive and had incredible customer service but this is a thing of the past. They are not only priced higher than the competition but the service is horrifying and rude. I predict 3-5 years from now this company will be sold and rebranded or gone off the market as it's in a death spiral. If you are an existing customer please look at other options.
Most horrific service provider ever.
Never in my life have I experienced a worse company/provider. Not only have they pulled money for one bill out of my account three times now, but it takes them days to respond to an email. They also openly state that even though it's their COMPANY email, they only check it every few days. I was also billed one cent the day after it was due, and after canceling their service I was basically left on read. I am absolutely disgusted with this provider, and would not recommend them to anyone who wants to have trust in the company proving them a service.
Was approved to order a service they can't provide
I signed up for internet online with Teksavvy after receiving confirmation that they could service my rural address, only to get an email 6 hours later cancelling the order without an explanation. Waited 30 minutes to chat with a customer service rep (after being hung up on twice while on hold via the phone) and was told they couldn't actually provide service to my location. What an absolute waste of my time.
TekSavvy shines above the rest!
It's not often when an ISP receives a 5-star review, however TS is the exception.
I've been with TS for over 10-years and from day 1, their performance and customer service has been exemplary.
When they sent me a new modem, their technical support to get it up and running was fantastic!
If TS should ever decide to expand into mobile phone service, I'd be they're first customer to sign up.
TekSavvy is a scam
TekSavvy is a scam. They do FALSE and MISLEADING advertising to sale you services they dont offer. Then pushes to pay for the equiment by force. If you resist and stand your ground, they threaten to damage your credit score and eventually report you for debt collection and damage your credit score.
Email down for days
Email down for days. They blame Microsoft. No ETA. No apology.
No customer service no accountability
Yesterday the internet went out while my wife was working and she works from home for the government. Today it went out during her job interview. I know teksavvy says those aren’t their problems because they use rogers infrastructure but it is their problem. Today I spent over an hour on their customer service chat waiting for help. It moved me from first in line to fifth. When I typed in agent a human responded and said it was an error but wouldn’t help me. They then sent the chat text to me while I was still in the text and they added a line where this person asks me wha help I need. That’s didn’t happen I have my own screenshots, they faked the chat text lol. An hour of waiting and I can’t get a human on this chat help
The internet that never works
The internet only works for about 4 hours a day and is out for the rest the other 20 hours of a day. We pay for 30 days a month and get about two full days of Internet a month. They're almost as bad as Bell. I'd say second worst I've ever had and I've had about 10 providers in my life
I would not recommend this internet…
I would not recommend this internet provider to anyone they use Rogers old modems I have had problems with 2 now and yet still have issues there internet is slow and laggy and buffers glitches.

If I spoke to customers at my job the way Jennifer from teksavvy spoke to me, I’d be fired.
Horrible customer service and they don’t value their customers. If you call into Roger’s they will beat Teksavvy prices
A horrible experience with Teksavvy
I was having trouble with my internet service and phone dropping out so I thought I would switch to a smaller, local company offering internet service through my cable connection which had been solid as a rock. I signed up with Teksavvy and between 8 June and 18 July I had 13 drop outs of internet and phone service. I would have to power cycle the cable modem and service would be restored. During this time I contacted support service and they would find nothing wrong. After cancelling the service and returning the equipment I got an email saying I had failed to return the equipment. I did have an email from them after i had returned the equipment saying I had a credit balance, but they still said I failed to return the phone adapter after I sent them notice of my equipment return tracking data with Canada Post. I have no way of proving that I returned the phone adapter so I am going to pay them $56.44 so they don't turn me over to a collection agency. If you do return equipment to Teksavvy after canceling their service, make sure you take a picture of the equipment in the return box.
What a despicable company
What a despicable company. Either incompetent or dishonest sale representatives. They offered internet service which I paid for, then they kept my money and cancelled my service. Them sent an another message saying the service was not available. No apologies no offer to return my money. I am seeing red. How can these bold ripoffs be in business?
Collections unwilling to work with long time customer in severe accident
Used to be good when they actually offered competitive prices and plans. Now you get faster speeds for less with competitors. Its a shame because unlike other ISPs, teksavvy seems to have knowledgeable CSRs on the phone - other ISPs would make me reset the modem AGAIN after I told them I already did it, teksavvy would mention doing that while you were on hold and didn't waste any time once connecting your call.
Despite being a customer for over a decade, when I got in an ebike accident and nearly broke my collarbone and went a month without being able to work to earn income, they ignored me when I asked for help with a payment plan and went on to send my debt to collections.
