The course is very basic so far
Update 2. That's fine it was a banking holiday, but don't state in your replies here that I didn't email, because I did. Instead of taking responsibility, you transfer the blame. I did email. And the fact that you're still updating on here, almost a month after the fact, before getting facts straight, tells me everything i need to know. The course is still basic and not worth the money you are charging.
UPdate - I did reach out to you. I did send several emails. I also finished the course in like 6 hours? so 30 hours is a fairly elaborate sell, and of course it was not going to be a full incredible certification, but for the price, I expected WAY MORE. I also did not see anywhere to download the certificate. In fact, I sent feedback to your email address with specific issues, and still no one has gotten back to me. It's very rich to come on here and say this, when I did do all of those things.
The course is very basic so far, and I can't proceed to the right part of the course, even after watching the videos, and answering the same questions to proceed to the next round, yet it doesn't save my answers. I have been through the same section 4 times, and there is no navigation out of it. I am honestly appalled.
Secondly, i do not appreciate that I apparently only have 6 months to complete the course. I have been ill for the last few months, and have not had time to do the course, and am now asked to pay for an extension (why? it is online, you do not need me to finish this month). I am so tired of these companies with this fine print that does not serve the customer at all.
The tests were very basic as well. Some of the content was mildly useful.
There is no kind of certification at the end it seems, although maybe it is coming? I am not sure, not that I need one, but you'd think a course of this price would give you something at the end instead of a generic "you completed a TEFL" I mean it's an IELTS, not a TEFL...

The 30-hour IELTS course is designed as a short, add-on specialist course rather than a full TEFL qualification, so the content is more basic than that of our core qualifications. That said, you do receive a certificate upon completion, which can be downloaded directly from your dashboard once all modules are finished.
Regarding access, the 6-month access period is outlined on our site. However, we always aim to be as flexible as possible with our students. If you had reached out to us, we would have been more than happy to pause your course or discuss options with you given your circumstances.
We’re also sorry to hear about the technical issues you experienced, that’s certainly not the experience we want for our students.

I recenty enrolled in a Level 5 TEFL course and so far the experience has been very positive. I appreciate how the course encourages proper academic referencing and avoids plagiarism. It's a great course for anyone who wants to start teaching English with confidence.

I have bought the TFEL course last…
I have bought the TFEL course last November,on black Friday deal, but I have started only in January.
I have taken this course to improve my English and grammar, while improving my confidence.
I'm not native speaker, and I do find it's more challenging, so it's takes longer time to study. I'm behind my timeline,and I was worried that I will fail,but I have received the email that I can extend my course. I'm so excited for the opportunity.
I hope, that by the end of the course, I will be able to teach children,using simple English, repetition, fun activities, and songs, and to encourage them not to give up when it gets difficult.

A Difficult but Worthwhile Course
An excellent course, with clear easy to use instructions and an easy to use interface. Learning itself is simple and the review questions are easy to do. However, the real test comes at the end, when you need to write quite a lot as the final part, with many sections to it. However, the effort is all worth it! :) Highly recommended.

Honestly? This Made Teaching Abroad So Easy

No full refunds
I made a wrong purchase and the website says 14 day money back guarantee. In the fine print it says FULL refund within 14 days. Then below it says May be subject to service fee which is confusing. If there is a fee then don’t say it’s a FULL refund. I was charged the service fee even though it said FULL refund on the website and requested only a few minutes after purchasing. Just know that you will not get your full money back.

Invasive marketing
I found there were an excessive number of emails per day and my antivirus software identified TEFL Institute tried to track my location 45 times. I find this to be invasive and unnecessary. A reputable training organisation should not need to resort to this level of marketing,
