My son is 8 and received the synth wave kit for Christmas. He really enjoys it and the online video has been so helpful so far. We listen and then pause the video so we can see/try the examples ourselves. It's been a great experience!

good customer service.
I purchased the 3 pack synth kit / sampler / guitar/ as a holiday promo bundle and it was supposed to come with a bonus kit which was not included.
UPDATE: it would have been nice to get this in time for the holidays. Regardless I was shipped the additional unit after posting my review. It’s good to know their customer support pays attention. Thank you!

Amazing service. Products arrived on time, order was slightly wrong. Corrected and replaced at no delay or cost and when I asked what I should do with the incorrect product was advised to ‘gift it to someone else at Xmas. Spread the love.’

Disappointing
Disappointed that it wasn’t clear that you cannot make the kit without using a screen to get instructions. No printed ones included, this was bought to prevent screen time but it didnt work out that way. You have to set up an account to access the instructions and pestering emails keep coming through, threatening to close the account if the child’s profile isn’t activated. My 9 year old girl found the kit didn’t work very well and instructions on screen hard to follow.

Our manuals are web-based as this provides us with an opportunity to explain complicated instructions in an easier and more digestible manner.
Keeping the experience online also enables kids to share pictures of their creations and code. We take every child's safety very seriously, part of which is getting consent from their legal guardian to use our platform - this is why we cannot keep an account active if it has not been approved by you. We’re so sorry if this was not explained better during the signup process and we will use your feedback to improve the process.
