The product is exceptionally well-made, the aesthetics are incredible, and we've had great support from our regional rep, as well as from the company in general. Our teams love working with the product, and we have minimal (if any) callbacks for product issues.

Worked with a general contractor and architect for complete property landscaping with swimming pool, outdoor pavillion with kitchen, bar, fireplace, etc. From general contractor's recommendation, selected Aberdeen large format pavers - looks gorgeous in the product magazine with hydrangea plantings. Within 1.5 years, Aberdeen white sandy large format turned to pea green soup color with a slimy, clay-like underfoot. Techo-Bloc manager, then regional manager, then Mid-Atlantic manager, etc. came by several times over the cours of several months. Finally told us through general contractor that the original Aberdeen pavers may not have been shipped correctly. Found out later that the Aberdeen product is made by coating a layer over concrete slab and then fired in a kiln. Not firing enough results in the product they sold us. Techo Bloc would not honor the warranty, except to say that they would replace but only if we selected their cheapest small format pavers. We went with the general contractors recommendation to "go with it." They used the cheapest installer, then didn't finish around the pool area. Had to hire pool company to finish the caulking around the pool. The small format pavers had so much sand - it became a nuisance. Lost 2 pool seasons because of this. Got fed up with these pavers and replaced the entire pool deck, outdoor kitchen and outdoor paver areas with porcelain tiles. Should have done this from the beginning. Found out later that general contractors make a fortune from selling pavers. Save yourself a lot of headache and maintenance and install outdoor porcelain tiles - slip resistant, impervious to weather, easy to clean and maintain - and no sand on your feet.

Been installing pavers for 5+ yrs and techo is my go to. Nice colors, solid blends and never had complaints from clients, they love the results!! Cant ask for much more honestly

We have been using Techo products for years. I like the color blends. They look more natural than other brands. If we have issues and we have not had many Techo is there to assist. We look forward to the new product offerings every year. Educational events are by far the best of any manufacturer.

I am extremely disappointed with my order from Techo-Bloc. I purchased the Blu HD2 pavers (beige cream) and Brandon retaining wall blocks, and the colors of the products received are completely different from what was shown on their website and in-store. The pavers, which were supposed to be beige cream, are gray, and the retaining wall blocks, which were meant to be brown café crème, are even grayer than the pavers. The misrepresentation of these products on their website is blatant and unacceptable. Furthermore, after contacting their customer service, they simply told me that these color variations are "normal" and that nothing could be done. No solutions, no attempt to resolve the issue.

I absolutely do not recommend Techo-Bloc. The service is nonexistent, and the products do not match what is advertised.

We decided to use this brand assuming they are better that their competition, we bought the HD version which is more pricy just to avoid issues. Weeks after they were installed a rust like stain popped up everywhere in many of the pavers. The stains looks to be rust from the material used within the paver, keeps expanding with time and looks to be due to rain or water contact to pavers which is unavoidable. I was told by the sales team not to seal them for 1 yr and we followed their instructions. Now the pavers look ruiened with rust staines all over. Don't waist your money my neighbor did cambridge and not only it was less expensive he is not experiencing this issue. Stay away from this company unless your willing to gamble with few grand plus the work involved. We have not entertained in our back yard because of the pavers. Waiting for them to resolve this issue is at a cost of our 2024 and now 2025 summer gone since we can't entertain because we're afraid someone is going to spill something on the pavers. We want to seal then but can't till this issue is addressed with Techo. We just paid to invite frustration to our lives. Who knows how long it will take for them to come up with a resolution. Time is priceless so don't waist it with Techo, any other pavers competition is worth the risk and in turn savings.

Similar issues as everyone else their pavers are extremely porous and stain very easily. My eighth month old patio looks like it’s 15 years old. I have no idea why anyone would produce a product to go on a patio that is so easily stained. I did not do my research. I hope you all do because this is a very common scene with Techo block pavers. Avoid using them! Hundred thousand dollars down the drain! As the techo bloc company does not give a flying crap about the quality of their product! And they don’t stand by their warranty.

If I could give zero stars, I would.

We reported a serious defect with our Techo-Bloc pavers just one month after installation—visible rusting caused by an incorrect mix during manufacturing, which introduced excess iron into the product. Over a year later, we are still waiting for a resolution, despite this issue being clearly covered under Techo-Bloc’s own warranty.

Most recently, the company responded by falsely claiming the defect is not covered—completely contradicting their published warranty and the earlier assessments by their own representatives. Our once-beautiful and expensive patio now looks decades old due to this ongoing and unresolved issue.
This experience has shown us that Techo-Bloc does not stand behind its products or its promises. We strongly urge others to avoid this company. Their lack of accountability and disregard for customers is unacceptable.

Its 3/24/26 we have not had the job completed with Techo-bloc, The time it took to respond to my review should have been used to reply to my emails/ calls/ and texts about pending issues. My -1 star review stands until resolved. Its been over a year

This company does not care about the customers..... or employees for that matter. I worked for Techo-Bloc, Waterford location for a year. I seen them handle business very poorly, ignore and dispute customer complaints constantly, even though the customer had a rightful complaint. Constant, inconsistency in color batches, color matching and quantity and quality. This company only cares about revenue and the in flow of hard working peoples money. They treat customers like they are stupid and don't know what they want. I would highly recommend seeking hardscape stone elsewhere. Especially if you want to be treated respectfully and with dignity.

Garbage products and even worse after purchase service. Efflorescence during the first year and good luck reaching someone to get service. They do everything in their power to make you give up on the exchange and live with the sub-par products that you invest in to install in your home.
STAY AWAY!

we are currently still dealing with this nightmare of a company. first round of paver they sent was mismatched. so was the second. their representative said they had plenty of pavers they could send that would match. NOPE. now they aren't even communicating with us and refuse to send anyone out to meet.

My concrete balcony and stairs were covered with Techobloc pavers in 2019. The pavers abutted against the bottom row of bricks of the wall. A serious mistake as those bricks spalled and the only solution was to remove all the pavers and replace the bricks in 2024. Techobloc told the contractor that abutting the pavers to the brick wall was Ok. I now have to take legal action. Stay away from Techobloc pavers on a concrete balcony. Also, there was a lot of efflorescence every year.

Whiteish finish on retaining wall. Wall caps with the ‘frost resistant’ finish were shiny unnatural battleship grey. Looked more like plastic lego blocks. Neither our landscaper in Charlottetown PEI nor TB would do anything despite the fact that this was a small piece of a large project. Very dissatisfied with lack of customer service from both companies.

Worst consumer experience of my life. The stone was advertised as black and has not been white with efflorescence for over 3 years. They are finally “addressing” the problem with a solution that we have to pay to get done. They avoiding it for year, despite persistent contact from us. They are falsely advertising and blaming the customer. DO NOT USE TECHO BLOC

I had a patio installed and all of the pavers were covered with efflorescence. Techo told me to buy their cleaner and clean it myself. I also had a defective paver that took forever for them to replace and when they did they filled in with the wrong color sand. I now have grey sand throughout the patio with a section that is filled in with black sand. Follow up requests with the company to fix the sand were ignored.

Please stay away from Techo-Bloc Products. I used it to build a 4 – course patio sitting wall and found the product to be inconsistent. Then when I went to use the matching interlocking cap material; they gave me 10 pieces of the medium size with the wrong angles cut from the manufacturer. I was given replacements, however the color didn’t match the material they sent me. The sales representative gave me pieces of an older lot, but it too was too different in color. The rep said that there is nothing they can do to correct it. I loaded the caps and returned them for a refund. I’ve seen better quality in the retail stores. Had I know how little they support this Canadian product I would have gone elsewhere.
