Terrible communication
I accidently ordered the FE version of the Samsung phone instead of the normal S25. I contacted them within hours and asked that they not ship and refund so I could change my order. No response. I followed up with numerous emails. No response. Communication is terrible. Still no response after a week. I need to now return the item instead of a simple change. I have requested a return. No response.
Key point is if something goes wrong they are not a great company. Very very disappointed.
It would be great if you could respond to this so we can resolve asap.
Dead iPad mini
Very poor customer service respond to inquiries 2 weeks later, after several messages, no response within 24 hours. 24 month extended warranty not worth paper it's written on they have let the warranty run out. Now have a dead iPad in my hands.Hong Kong based company should have a customer service agent in the UK just to be legit.
Bad Communication
Ordered from Techinthebasket. Seemed to be a glitch on the website. Paid by PayPal - payment when through but haven't had confirmation of order after 5 days. I've emailed them four times - get an automated response but nothing else. There is no way other than email to contact them. I've tried to cancel it through PayPal but this is also proving difficult.

I ordered a laptop off there for a new job and paid for the quickest shipping plus insurance. It was meant to arrive in 4-6 business days. By business day number 6, the order was still noted as “processing” on the website with no communications or updates. I tried calling multiple times, their lines were always off. My partner and i emailed them multiple times, they never responded despite saying they respond in 24 hours. This has been a major waste in time and money and to be honest a very frustrating experience with zero help or customer services. HIGHLY AVOID. MAJOR SCAM.

I am having an issue with my phones charging port, its still under Warranty , i contacted the seller and supplied them with the requested information then they stopped responding, i have been trying to find ways to get there attention but nothing, paypal can not help because its past there 90 limit , i have contacted the ACCC but its unlikely they can help as its a Chinese company

Grey importer
Grey importer - adverting return conditions on their website that do not comply with UK consumer laws.
I needed to return an item, so raised a return request. It then took several weeks and multiple emails to obtain the return address from TiTB. I returned the item and followed up with emails showing proof of delivery (photo + tracked delivery service) asking when the refund will be processed. I have had no reply from 5+ communication attempts by email and phone over the last 4 weeks. Now I am starting a chargeback process to recover the money.
Summary: low prices and (in my case) good delivery speed but expect to have to use a chargback process if you want to get a refund for any reason.
Two words: BE PATIENT
I got 2 x Google Pixel 10 Pro XL for £300 per unit less than other online retailers. Like everyone else, I read reviews about long delivery times and their lack of comms but, after 3 weeks, the 2 shiny new devices arrived, and I couldn't be happier.
TITB contacted me early on because one of the devices (one was blue, one was black) was out of stock and offered an alternative or a refund. I was happy to accept an alternative colour. To be honest, comms driven by them were timely, but responses to mine were not; that caused some worry because I'd paid 1.6k and felt like I couldn't really get hold of them but....... it was all good in the end.
The phones dropped in price by £20 each while I was waiting for delivery, and TITB was happy to refund me the difference, so they get an A* for that.
My advice is: BE PATIENT. DON'T expect 48h delivery, it's never going to happen. DON'T expect to be contacted much, DO expect your order status to change to 'completed' without having had shipping notification, and DO expect to get tracking info early on, but not be able to see any tracking history until 1-2 days before delivery. DON'T panic; your items(s) is en route, it's just not tracked until it hits the UK (in my case).

Received tracking number next day after purchase but took a while to dispatch it, but arrived within the time, well packed and genuine, the telephone line does not work but got email replied.
It's a gift and I am completely happy with the item.

iPad Air 7th generation m3 chip 2025 model ordered on friday. Was coming from hong kong. Promptly notified that delivery would be via Royal Mail 48 hour tracked. I received the goods on Thursday following. Excellent service at an unbeatable price! Very happy indeed.
Starting to think that my Galaxy S25+ is a fake...
Why have I been sold a Galaxy S25+ handset for £639.99 that turns out is not eSIM compatible??? I am starting to think this must be a fake as apparently this model should be eSIM compatible... I am going to have to go and buy a new handset tomorrow now, so that I can get connectivity on my cruise... I am VERY unhappy to say the least!!!
Superfast Delivery
I'm amazed. I thought it'd be suss but I used a credit card so I had protection if needed. Bought an iPad for the wife and Sony XM6 headphones for me. Ordered on the Friday, arrived today (Tuesday). Genuine products (albeit grey imports) far, far cheaper than any UK store. Clearly I'd avoid ordering near Xmas - but if this is anything to go by, I'll definitely use them again.

Poor customer service….
I have purchased twice from techinthebasket and had great service. This time not good at all. I purchased a Samsung S25 ultra and a iPad Air. I waited for my items to be delivered & once it passed the allocated time slot I messaged them about my order.
Reply came back, the original parcel had been lost in the post ( bear in mind I had not received a tracking number) & they could not fulfil my order unless I changed to black. I did not want to change colour. The other option was to cancel the order. So I replied asking for the order to be cancelled & a refund asap.
Over a thousand pounds, a lot of money.
I then received a reply asking me to email them with the reason for the cancellation. What? I emailed several times with no reply & was getting annoyed.
This was their error and they had not even informed me of it. I had to chase my order up.After feeling very ignored I contacted Trading Standards for advice.
I then emailed techinthebasket yet again stating what I was doing & that I had contacted Trading Standards.
I then received a pending payment which cleared today. No email, no apology. The prices are good& I must have been lucky with my other purchases but not this time & never again………

Terrible company....I want to return an IPad Air and change it for a larger size. I have now sent 5 emails and all I get is the automated reply which does not respond to my request in any way. The phone number which I was given asks for an extension number which I do not have and then cuts me off. Very poor.
