Tech-buddies went out of their way to help me determine if their DC ups will be sufficient for my switch and cameras. Would definitely recommend them and delivery was quick of the ups.

Shipped relatively quickly. Product works perfectly for a 48v NVR with 3 IP PoE cameras connected to it. Tested it for loadshedding and it lasts the whole duration (2hours), which is what I needed.

Communications were clear, queries were answered in a full and useful fashion, turnaround was prompt and to given eta's.
A pleasure to work with and will look to work with into the future.

I ordered the 48V Smart Voltage Control Brand UPS for my PoE hub - it was delivered within hours! Only bad thing is you need to buy a step-down converter if you want USB power. No beeping - love it! Turns on even if power is off, fantastic. Fits in a standard 400mmx300mm electrical box (unit is 258x226x49mm). Excellent all round.

After payment, the unit arrived 3 days later on my doorstep. Setup wat super simple and straight forward. The device powered my 12V Fiber ONT and Mikrotik router using the provided cables.

Unfortunately my Unify AP did not receive enough power over POE which I reported to Tech-Buddies. After troubleshooting and the assistance from Tech-Buddies we were able to isolate the issue, not to a faulty UPS unit but a poor quality ethernet cable. The issue was resolved by replacing the network cable with a solid copper core CAT6 cable.

I can with absolute certainty recommend the Power-Buddie DC UPS product and vouch for the Tech-Buddie brand! Thank you guys for a great experience.
