Excellent communication and attention…
Excellent communication and attention to detail went into the internal move, right down to measuring items. The move itself was handled carefully and swiftly with movers eager to follow any instructions for item placement. I definitely recommend them for making your own move, whether between houses or within your home, easier!
Unknowledgeable, unreliable, unethical scammers
I told Sasha (the booking agent) that I had a 3 bedroom house full of furniture to move and that when I had moved to my current address it took a fully packed 7.5 tonne truck to move all my items there. She told me it would be best for 2 men and a 4.5 tonne truck to do the job in 2 trips as I would be more court effective (1st lie). I questioned her on this but she assured me it would cost less to do it the way she was suggesting, so I went along with it.
Less than 24 hours before I was supposed to move Sasha called me to tell me that they couldn't move me at the ti.ewe have scheduled on the morning of the 7th February 2026 and that it would have to be the after after 2pm or the next morning after 10am. I booked for 10am Sunday 8th February and had to make special arrangements with the video corporate of the building to book the lift for a 2 hour timeslot. The remvalists didn't arrive until almost midday snd they came in and claimed there was more furniture than they were informed and recommended a larger truck. I explained that Sasha had told me that 2 trips in a 4.5 tonne truck would be quicker and easier. The removalists shook their heads and said that Sasha has no clue. They said they could wither do it in 2-3 trips or they could call to book a bigger truck (another lie) and would go downstairs to wait for the truck.
I then received a call from another of Team Removals removalists saying they couldn't get a bigger truck and thay it would take 4-5 trips in 10-12 hours to do the job with the 4.5 tonne truck (another lie). I became very anxious and upset and asked if the could just do 1 load with just the large furniture. The man i spoke to wouldn't lustre tp me and kept talking over the top of me. I ended up saying I wanted to cancel the job and get a refund of my $150 (which I am still waiting for almost a week later).
He tried to tell me to calm down and that they would get the job done. I said I didnt want to work with anyone from Team Removals again snd repeated that I wanted to cancel the booking and get my mo ey back. He continued to try to manipulate me into agreeing to continue with the booking but I refused. I sent them my account details for the refund and received a reply saying they would process my refund shortly (on the
8th of February), however it is now the 12th of February and I have not been refunded.
I found another removalist (who works for Kent) rhst had a big truck and 4 men to help. They cometed the job from arrival at my apartment at 8.55am on the 10th of February and drove off from my destination address before 12.30pm. It took them less than 3.5 hours, yet Team Removals said it would take 8 hours with a bigger truck or 10-12 hours and an increasing amount of trips (between 2 and 5) trips in the smaller truck.
In my experience Team Removals are liars and scammers who were trying to take advantage of me in a stressful situation. I would never recommend them. Please choose your removalists wisely and dont go against your gut feelings on how big of a truck you may need. Go for the bigger trusted and most long standing companies. Or you'll be left in a compromised position with lies about refunds.
If I could give 0 stars i would
If I could give 0 stars i would. Terrible service. Where to start, after going through an extensive itinerary the day before moving, the 2 guys that landed had no idea what the task was or what they were doing. They reversed up our driveway which was fine but drove into the eaveshoot, not even acknowledging what they done. After they came into our house they stood and asked us what needed to be moved, we said everything, I asked them if they had been given an itinerary, they just looked at me. They gave an ipad to my husband to sign that there are no heavy items which we stated there was, he said just sign it anyway. Having booked them for 2 to 4 hours they were still standing around looking and asking what needed to go, we asked them to please look around the house as everything needs to go. He looked in 2 out of 4 rooms, got in to their van and drove off. They also threw bubble wrap in our garage and asked us to wrap what was delicate and we would be invoiced for it? After I discussed this on the phone the day before and he assured me the guys would do all the wrapped and had loads of sheets etc to prevent any scratching and that this was all included. After some discussion on the phone in between as these guys clearly had never done this type of work before, we were told they needed to hear their side first and would get back to us. When he did he stated it would be a few hours before another van would get to us, after arriving already an hour late. I initially agreed then I called back after as this was so inconvenient, we done the job ourselves. I asked for my deposit back which he did and I sent an email to the complaints department.. don't bother, Sarah was so unprofessional and basically seemed like she was used to these kind of complaints, pushing all blame back on the customer. Stating things that had never happened, that my husband would not let them look around our house? Why would he do this, we need to move, of course they were allowed look around. In fact, we had to tell them to as they stood looking around doing nothing! She also suggested that them driving into the eaveshoot was a possible lie on my behalf as "this was not mentioned what so ever whilst in constant contact over the phone".... we weren't in constant contact, we were in contact on and off when your crew had no idea what to do then left. I sent an email approx an hour later on that same date, how is that not good enough. Constant blame shifting, zero acknowledgement or acceptance or just an apology for our experience. I had to state I was not looking for financial reimbursement just an acknowledgement of an awful bad experience for multiple reasons. Terrible service and even worse customer service skills.
the cm guys (kevin and Josep)
the guys (kevin and Joseph) were really friendly and arrived on time. very respectful. would have them move my stuff anytime
Their customer service is appalling
Their customer service is appalling. After receiving a call for feedback, they said they would investigate our terrible experience. They called back a week later, only after I had chased them several times. They clearly hadn't done anything and just reiterated what we already knew. They were argumentative and didn't do anything to help the situation. Again, they are are complete waste of your time and money!!!! They are fraudsters and it's all a total sham.
Second time moving with them
This moving company exceeded my expectations. They took extreme care with our stuff. Moved everything efficiently and the two men that came were just genuinely nice people.
Cannot recommend this company enough, super pleased. This is my second time moving with them up and back (Geelong to Mildura).
Phones should not be used while handlers in process of lifting furniture
My one piece of furniture was moved satisfactorily. However, the point I would make is that neither of the two removalists had a friendly manner. Even if English was not their first language, I would expect some positive communication or checking with myself if I was happy with the position of moved item. Also both of the men were at times using their phones while actually moving the furniture which was unsafe and unprofessional.
Fast and reliable

Arrived when said.
Very careful with furniture.
Definitely use them again if needed.
The worst removalists I have dealt with, by a large margin
The worst removalists I have dealt with, by a large margin. That’s speaking as a 62 year old who has lived in Melbourne all his life, and during that time made well over a dozen moves.
I had done a google search and a ring around, and was getting sick of it when their rep rang me back with an offer lower than what I had first been quoted, and about as low as any other, so I decided to go ahead with them. I told him what I wanted- to move my stuff from a storage unit at National Storage Rowville- with half of the stuff going to a smaller storage unit in the same centre, and the other half going to my latest house a few suburbs away. Read that last sentence again if its not clear. And then again. And then again. Because that’s how many times I repeated myself to the guy over the phone trying to make clear what I wanted. Despite that, the confirmation email I received still had the wrong details- 2 pickups and 1 delivery.
He had also told me that I would need to make a deposit payment for half the expected amount for the job, and send them a copy of my receipt for this (first time I had ever been asked for payment before the day). So about a week before my proposed move I did this, and sent them an email with the correct move details in writing, and below that the copy of my receipt.
The night before the proposed move, I got a call from one of their reps to confirm the move the next day, and also to ask me about my deposit payment because they hadn’t received this. I confirmed I had, told him exactly when I sent my email- he found my email, and lo and behold when he actually read to the bottom, there was the copy of my deposit receipt. A few minutes later, I rang back just to confirm how I could make payment- good that I did because they don’t take credit cards- only cash or eftpos. The operator I spoke to asked me again about my deposit payment, couldn’t find it etc- went all over it again.
Next morning, the day of the move which I had told would have them arriving some time between 9 & 10, I got a call again about 9.30 telling me my removalists were not far away, and by the way had I sent my deposit?? When I had gone over that yet again, he said the removals guys would ring me in a few minutes. Which they did- to say that their truck was broken down and they would be delayed by an hour. I had by this time been waiting for them by at least 40 minutes, and didn’t feel like hanging around doing nothing for another hour, so I basically ended up doing the first part of the move all myself- the half from the larger storage unit to the smaller. An hour later, this was all done, so I rang the removal crew to see what the latest was. No reply to my call, so I rang their office – the guy who answered of course hadn’t heard anything about the delay to my crew, asked me yet again about my deposit payment, and then put me on hold to speak to their despatchers to find out what was happening. Whilst I was on hold, a call came through from the crew to say they were on their way.
I had told the guy on the phone when I made my initial booking that National Storage Rowville has an address of 954 Stud Road, but that the entry was via Kingsley Close. I put only Kingsley Close as the address in my confirmation email. So I went out the front on Kingsley Close to look for the truck arriving- and sure enough it entered Kingsley Close from Stud Road 5 or 10 minutes later- and then promptly did a u-turn and drove back out again. I thought they would work it out, but when I hadn’t seen them again in a few minutes I rang them to find out where they were- the guy on the phone said they were out the front of National Storage. I told him he needed to come in via Kingsley Close, that was where I had seen him enter a few minutes earlier, and where was he now. All he was capable of saying was they were out the front of National Storage- wouldn’t or couldn’t tell me what road he was on, wouldn’t or couldn’t take on board that the entry was Kingsley Close. I was pretty sure I knew where he was- walked back up Kingsley Close 100 metres or so to Stud Road, then another 150 metres or so down the grass at the verge of Stud Road to the exit gate for National Storage with a large No Entry sign on it- with above the gate another No Entry sign and below it in large letters: Entry from Kingsley Close -> (arrow indicating which way to go). I brought this to their attention and they slowly drove off in the correct direction. I then had to run back to the entry to meet them (I am 62 as I said before).
They managed to do the 2nd half of the job, not exactly in double quick time. I had them follow me in the truck to the house so they wouldn’t get lost somehow. Despite the fact the speed limit most of the way was 70 or 80 kmh, they never got above 60. When it came time to pay the remaining balance for the job, I couldn’t get a receipt- was told I would get one by email within 24 hours. Needless to say, 4 days later I have nothing.
Do not use their service with prior charges quotation
Movers are too slow. they use mobile while working and misbehave with my women. owner took many websites just to acquire business but every domain is not registered in ABN they are doing false practices to get business and don't serve well

We urgently needed a removalist at 5pm…
We urgently needed a removalist at 5pm on Friday night since the other booked didn’t turn up and after enquiring which took 45 minutes they said they had completed the job when clearly my daughter was surrounded by boxes and furniture. Ready to move after a settlement and then this happened. I googled urgent removalist and noted Team Removals were open until 8pm. After explaining our situation Team Removals managed to get a team to us at 6:30pm. The two guys did a great job, never rushed considering they left at 9pm Friday night. I can’t thank Team Removals enough.
Great communication
The driver that came to assist me was very friendly. The customer care was very responsive and assuring when I became worried that my service would not be completed. If I need to move again, I would definitely be using them.
Short notice, flexible and efficient removalist.
The Brisbane team were very professional and got the job done smoothly at short notice. They arrived within their designated window and moved a 1 bedroom apartment into storage 20mins away. They were very efficient. Would definitely use this company again!
Amazing service
