TD Bank on Long Beach Island, NJ, is the worst bank you will ever encounter. Its manager, Sebastian Salazar, is incompetent and clearly filling a quota. Can’t move my accounts out of this bank fast... See more

THERE SHOULD HAVE BEEN A THUMB DOWN…
THERE SHOULD HAVE BEEN A THUMB DOWN OPTION OR -VE STAR OPTION. THE BANK SUCKS MAJORLY. THE WEBBROKER IS WORSE THAN STARTUPS. CURRENTLY DURING BUSINESS HOURS, AN ORDER IS STUCK IN PENDING CANCEL WHILE THE WORLD IS MARCHING ON, MISSING A LONG-AWAITED OPPORTUNITY TO MAKE MONEY -- PHONE PLAYS AWFUL MUSIC ON HOLD FOR 30 MIN FOR SOMEONE TO HELP WITH THE STUCK ORDER, STILL NO ANSWER!?!?!?! STILL HOLDING FOR SOME LOW LIFE THAT DOESNT KNOW HOW TO DO THEIR JOB... NOTHING IS THEIR FAULT IN THE END
TD Visa cards—are they real?
I’m not a huge fan of any big banks, but TD’s customer service is abominable. I never received my replacement credit card, so I go to the branch, they say I need to call, THEY say I need to go to the branch bc I can’t be verified (I have the card in my hand!). New card is finally received after all my subscriptions are already cancelled, so I use it “as normal” to activate it, it doesn’t work. I call, card in hand, again can’t be verified, despite knowing who I am and all my info. I will be closing all my accounts and urging others to do so as well. At least RBC listens and can verify that I exist. Credit unions are the way to go anyway.

I find TD really convenient to use overall. Their app, having many locations near where I live and a lot of other people use them as well, but their fees are really high. They just raised them AGAIN which is frustrating. I do wish there was an alternative that is as convenient as TD, but I guess you pay the price for conveinece.
Formal Complaint Regarding Poor Service and Staff Conduct On Wednesday
On Wednesday, April 1, 2026, at 9:30 am, I visited the TD Bank branch at 7085 Woodbine Ave with my friend and his wife. My friend intended to withdraw $5,000 CAD from his savings. During the process, the teller repeatedly asked him—more than four times—why he had moved funds via e-transfer instead of a bank draft. My friend explained clearly that he had been in Taiwan at the time and had already declared the funds at RBC, yet the teller remained unsatisfied.
The teller also insisted that a "Customer Liability Awareness" paper must be signed for every single withdrawal, which contradicted my understanding of bank policy for smaller amounts. When I tried to intervene to help clarify the situation, a supervisor named Ms. Zhang arrived. She was incredibly dismissive, telling me it was "none of my business" and even telling me to be quiet and "watch my manners."
Most disappointingly, when I asked Ms. Zhang to explain the situation in Mandarin to ensure there was no misunderstanding, she pretended she did not speak the language. This level of service was arrogant and unprofessional. While we are happy to cooperate with security measures, we expect to be treated with basic respect.
1 star is too many
1 star is too many, should be a minus column! made a double payment by accident and called them right away to cancel the extra payment and was told it couldn't be done and they couldn't even put the extra payment toward next months payment. i have had this happen a couple times before with my other cards and have never had a problem getting back the extra payment. NOT with TD though. never will do business with TD again. cutting up my card and going to pay it off then cancel my account, they are not worth doing business with. AVOID TD bank at all costs for anything!
Hello 1996... TD card disputes can start only if documents are sent by fax in 2026!
Opening a credit/debit card dispute for all TD issued credit/debit cards in the US and submitting your documentation is possible ONLY IF YOU SEND IT BY FAX machine.
No, it is not 1996... 30 years later "More Human" is so cruel to your customers.
This bank is terrible
This bank is terrible. My sister and I had a joint checking. She had a line of credit from which we transferred money when we received her terminal diagnosis. We were nowhere near the credit limit and they locked the account and then they locked the bill pay on the checking, even though my name was on the account. It took me weeks before they finally straightened this out. I could never recommend them.
Banks suck…
After seeing the cost of service charges this month, over sixty dollars for making seven transfers out of my account.I see why everyone's leaving the banks and going to cryptocurrency.Exchanges are did over a hundred transactions on an exchange. And it didn't even cost me five dollars
FORGET TD CANADA and AMERICA - south of the…
FORGET TD here and south of the border!!
TD Bank in Canada and TD Bank United States
based on reviews and personal experience
THEY HAVE WORK TO DO BUT IT WILL NOT HAPPEN - TOO BAD FOR THEM!
TD was lucky to get our mortgage 5 years ago.
Now they drag their asses to give a renew rate and then send a disturbing email with high rates.
This is lousy service and it looks like its done on purpose so it needs to be told
During the five year mortgage we took out credit cards and also opened and made investments.
In AMERICA there are better products at better prices and the same in CANADA.
ALL OF THE INVESTMENTS AND CREDIT CARDS etc. that we have made over the 5 years , will now be closed and TD BANK AMERICA and TD BANK CANADA WILL BE FORGOTTEN by us!
Improvement on EVERYTHING!
Improvement on EVERYTHING!! Again my bank card would not work at a bank branch. Incorrect pin number. It was the correct number. Now, an account connected isn't working. Wait times of 20 minutes or more via phone. No actual tellers working at a TD Bank off of Harbison Ave. One on break and I need to leave the ATM to get someone to get my card and cash out of the ATM. 12 people, a security guard and upper management were working the inside teller area My card could have been shut off. 1 customer service rep in the lobby. Corporate!! Get over yourselves and go to your branches. See how awful your banks are while you are making bank off of customers money. Pay more. A lot more. I'm done....
Predatory fees and poor customer service
The website is okay. However, I am extremely dissatisfied with the way credit customers are treated. I paid off the credit card (on time) in Oct 2025. Unbeknownst to me they started charging interest for the day or two it took them to process my payment. I didn't know until January 2026 when I received a statement with late fees. I have been calling them once or twice a month since then and they keep telling me they will take care of it and that it is resolved but I keep getting charged. At this point I intend to pursue legal action just to prove a point. These tactics are predatory.

Td bank has long wait times for in branch service always. They want you to do everything online basically. Also they have jerked me around twice now for a personal loan. First time I got declined immediately, second time I was approved and 3 days later they rescinded my acceptance and sent me a declination letter...credit score 777 and 13 % total usage on available credit....I will not be doing a third time ever. Take your business to a smaller bank they'll work harder to help you.
I would rate a zero bc they made me do…
I would rate a zero bc they made me do THEIR job. Lazy useless workers that sit on their ass and do nothing. Came in upset and crying and they forced me to make their phone calls
TD increased my Line of Credit that…
TD increased my Line of Credit that I've had for over 25 years by 3% without an explanation. When I met with the Parry Sound manager she told me she would get back to me... she didn't. So I called her again and she said one of people would contact me... they didn't. Terrible bank with Terrible manager that just smiles and pretends to be effective.
Riverbend. Edmonton Managers
Riverbend branch in Edmonton Assistant and Branch manager there should really be fired. The level of customer service from these two is pathetic. It's too bad TD can't find competent individuals for these positions. Just try and take out YOUR OWN cash and see how miserable these two are!! Well goodbye TD I will choose another bank!!!
TD not so good afterall
TD Bank was generally a bank that I appreciated and liked until they put a security hold/close on my account causing significant inconveniences with company's that have a date that they withdraw monies for subscriptions hence causing closure of subscriptions until I am able to obtain another debit card; I never authorized them to close my account they just did it on their accord, I requested that they do a stop payment on a particular organization that put me on recurring charges without my permission
Td bank is a bad bank to do business with. The bank is not as convenient as they proclaim to be. There financial advisors are horrible. Td bank refused to reimburse me on a fraudulent charge .
Td bank is a bad bank to do any business with. There not the convenient ba
I wish I could give it zero stars…
I wish I could give it zero stars because that's exactly what it deserves I am recently a year from being disabled I was in an accident long story short I'm opening online account to have a little bit more of independent so no one has to come and get my card or my money to go pay my bills they let me everything went verified I verified plenty of times they've let me open the account they let me deposit to the account then after I deposited to the account they blocked the account and then said I had to bring two forms of ID when I've been in the same address for 15 years my ID is exactly what I signed up the account to be my address is the same everything is the same and they still and I've called and told them that I am disabled I don't physically drive and it's an hour and a half away the first TV bank close to me and they still do not care they said they don't care that they'll I've got to come in or it's just going to sit there I'm going to end up suing these people I'm done this is crazy I made an online account for a reason because I wanted to do banking online not into a branch if I wanted to go inside of a bank I would have made a bank account inside the bank this is the worst bank if I was you please do not waste your money and use this thing because you regret it
