Taylor Walton provided advice and legal services through my difficult and lengthy divorce during 2023. Olive and her team were incredibly diligent and thorough with the service they provided to me during this time. This process is unpleasant on the individual but having a amazing legal team to help, takes the edge off the process and guides you through the unknown. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Olive and Taylor Walton.

Olive and the team were very good. My case was difficult, lengthy and it was tricky to get the truth from the other party.
It was an expensive experience, I am not going to lie, but there was an awful lot of work put in on my behalf and not much got past Olive, she was quite dogged and determined.

Justine and Katherine has been incredibly helpful and professional. I have found them both to be very responsive throughout the transaction. Would highly recommend Taylor Walton.

Olive McCarthy and the whole team at Taylor Walton were exceptional and went over and above the call of duty under extreme pressure and time constraints /deadlines in the most professional,efficient ,communicative and compassionate manner in what proved to be a highly sensitive situation, I cannot recommend or thank them enough they were amazing and faultless.

I work alongside Taylor Waltons newbuild department in a professional capacity, amongst many other firms. Taylor Walton are always my preferred firm due to vast experience, communication, professionalism and pro active approach to transactions. Caroline Hume and her team are truly the best property solicitors I have dealt with.

The individuals I dealt with were good people however in hindsight and having dealt with another conveyancer, I can now see that Taylor Walton aren’t as good as some of their peers. Their processes were slow and if allocated someone who only works on certain days, you’d have to wait for their return and give them time to catch up on the missed days. Also it was incredibly frustrating that they always issued their correspondence at the end of the day and promptly closed their offices. When I came to collect my retainer fee, they tried to carve out some of it for themselves which contradicted my expectations and what was on the completion statement. On reflection, the whole affair left me quite dejected although I got some of my money back. On this basis, I can not recommend this company in all good conscious.

This firm was representing our buyer in a house sale and they caused a lot of stress and delay to the process. Asking irrelevant questions, not taking a reasonable view on certain matters, and generally just having a poor understanding of the law and on top of that being really slow. My lawyers had a whole group of associates copied into emails so that if one version is away another person could pick up a query, yet Taylor Walton would always respond to one person and when that person was out of office they would blame us for being slow. Generally just caused a lot of headache in what should have been a bock standard property sale.

We went to Taylor Walton to produce a simple will. They proceeded to complicate and confuse all the issues. We decided to instruct another solicitor, who did exactly what we wanted, quickly and efficiently. Taylor Walton then issued an invoice for an amount considerably more than their original quote.
Do not make the same mistake as us, think very carefully before you engage Taylor Walton.

Professional and polite service from a great team who managed the sale of our property from end to end.

Poor communication. Enormous vague Bills. Many different employees doing the same thing over and over. Unless your case is very simple, please go elsewhere.

James Carpenter in Luton helped my two dishonest brothers to sell our jointly owned property way under the market value as the eldest one that remained living in it rent-free had not kept an agreement to keep it maintained on that basis and it was clearly, instead, sold cheap in an uninhabitable state. Due to false evidence and lies told in Court, which Carpenter had entered on their behalf, I ended up also having to pay their bloated fees. On top of losing a vast amount on the property. This is not litigation. They had no real case without the dishonestly and the intention was just to help diminish my property shares/inheritance by breaking the agreement and profit from the beginning where the falsehoods and asking me for undisclosed amounts of money started and I can prove it.

Further to your comments? Really? It seems that several of the people you have worked for are not impressed with you either. Unethical outfit.

Isaac Wilson acted for me in the transfer of my marital home into my sole name. Despite there being very tight deadlines, he was able to prepare all the documentation urgently and accurately, and then to complete the transfer in time before my mortgage offer expired. Extremely professional and courteous. I wouldn’t hesitate to engage him again in the future
