TaylorMade Iron sets - Sims 2 Max
I'm encountering significant problems with my TaylorMade Iron sets. Three years ago, I purchased the Sim 2 Max club set at the PGA superstore, and now, the shafts on the 7 iron and 6 iron are breaking within weeks of each other. I was afraid that my other iron club would be broken down in the next couple of months. Despite filing a warranty claim via email, TaylorMade informed me that their policy only covers up to two years, and they won't be able to assist further. This is ridiculous that they only cover the warranty for two years for defected clubs.
great products (when they don't break)
Was a lifelong TaylorMade fan, bought every new club each year. Last year bought a putter from them, the hossel came loose. Took them 4 months to fix it and they sent me another putter that wasn't the same as the one i sent in. This year, my SIM2max driver head exploded and they could do nothing for me. (oh btw i emailed them a warranty claim a month ago and needed to contact them throught live chat to get an answer)
Product - average at best
Product itself is average at best, especially considering the price point. They benefit heavily from having pros on contract who play their products, but I’m not confident at all that they don’t specially curate equipment for the pros and send the duds in the direction of the general public. Also their customer service team is one of the worst I have ever dealt with. They’ve given me 4 different dates on when my clubs will arrive. 3 of those dates have already come and gone and they’ve yet to even provide a tracking number. This was on an order straight through their website. Honestly, Titleist and Callaway are far better for the same price point, and Ping is a hair more expensive, but I’m willing to bet they treat their customers right. I highly recommend anything other than Taylormade.
CORY RAND EMPLOYEE OF THE YEAR!!!
I would like to let you know how valuable your employee Cory Rand is he was very helpful and extremely nice he listened to my issue and was fixed immediately I have told everyone that I know about Cory with TaylorMade. I honestly never had such a great experience with Cory upper management should definitely know how great of a job Cory Rand is doing with TaylorMade. If Cory doesn't get employee of the year something is wrong. I will find out who to call and let it be known how valuable of a employee Cory Rand is..Thank you so much Cory Rand and TaylorMade
Very Poor service
So my 5 iron buckled on contact with a winter mat and Taylormade have said they aren't prepared to fix or replace it as it appears their irons aren't strong enough to withstand contact with a mat. The Sim 2 iron was within guarantee but they have determined from only looking at a photo there is no defect in the iron ... so no inspection of the actual club .. they haven't taken into account the worst winter in years and clubs using mats so continues impact on a mat more than normal. A member at my club had a similar issue with a Ping and it was replaced without issue. So if you want good customer service and clubs that can withstand regular use on winter mats which is a feature of golf in the UK then best not to buy Taylormade. Ping for me now.
I don’t know how Taylormade customer…
I don’t know how Taylormade customer service has such low reviews, but I think they are incredible and super helpful! I was in an annoying situation with a new club and they are sending me a new one standing behind their 2 year warranty.. Nice to know there is an actual company that stand by their word… keep it up Taylormade- appreciate you!
You better like what you buy from TaylorMade
Recently purchased a cap from their EU store. Paid for shipping, received it a week later. The cap is not as the other three I already own and doesn't fit properly. I've asked about returning it only to be told that I need to pay for shipping it back. The cap cost 30 Euro. Shipping to the UK from here costs just as much.
Their site says they will give you pre-paid labels to return and that you have the right to change your mind about your purchase.
Their customer care says pre-paid labels are UK-only (not stated anywhere on the site) and that all returns are paid by the customer.
I'll keep the cap and never buy from them again.

Golf Travel substandard quality
I bought a golf travel bag last April 23 it’s less than 12 months old and have only been used twice and holes are already appearing in the fabric. Clearly these bags are not fit for purpose and cannot withstand being handled by airport baggage control. There customer service department does not want to know all you get is a standard response the issue sits outside there warranty policy. Looking at other review this company should not be touched with a barge pole. I only wish I’d check them before I purchased anything. I certainly will not again and will warn all members at my golf club of their appalling service.
Poor quality and support
Bought a custom-made sim2 max driver and after less than 2 years it developed a big crack in the face. TaylorMade support said that they will not do anything about it unless I could produce a receipt, which I can't find. You would think when they see photos of their product with a defect that they would want to do something about it, but they do not.
They don't stand behind their products and they don't provide quality support or solutions.
Do not purchase TM pre orders unless…
Do not purchase TM pre orders unless you are ok receiving it after the product hits stores. Qi10 hits store racks tomorrow and I can't even get a shipping date for mine. Standard stuff even said no grip, and they still can't produce for me. Heck I don't even need the shaft, just send the dang head! Lesson learned! Purchase on the day the head demos hit the store at PGA SS. They are useless as well.. Sigh!
Drivers keep breaking - shocking customer service.
Brought 2 Sim drivers, both of which came apart - clearly an issue with quality control and manufacturing. Worse still is they don't give a damn; phoned, emailed, written by hand - even sending the broken club back and they shrug it off.
Have brought TaylorMade for years, I have sold all my other items and will not buy anything from them again out of principle.
Loyalty points program SUCKS
Loyalty points program SUCKS. Bought a bunch of new clubs and registered them online not knowing it was a US site. I log in and see the points but its on the US site. When i log in on the Canadian site I have nothing for points (log in username and password is the same). Was told they can't be transferred. You should be able to use the points anywhere, especially when you log in with the same credentials. This sucks and is not a very good program.

So bad. returned my Sim Max 2 custom fitted…
I returned my Sim Max 2 custom fitted driver. The head was split at the seam and it clearly looks like a manufacturing fault. I returned it just after the 2 year warranty. I'd waited 8 weeks on delivery and it was faulty weeks before id returned the club. TaylorMade s response was extremely unhelpful and negative. No appreciation of the fact that I had spent 1300 pounds and only had the club in use for less than 2 years. I was informed by the shop I purchased it from, that other providers such as Ping and Callaway would have replaced the club. Shocking from TaylorMade and their customer service team. They really do not need to have this group of people as a auto response of NO would do the same job.
TaylorMade Substandard Products
Bought a Taylormade Sim driver, custom fitted and ordered from Taylomade.
After a longer than usual delivery time it arrived and instantly loved the look and feel.
Unfortunately the face cracked and the clubs performance dramatically reduced, basically the club couldnt be used.
Contacted Taylomade and was advised the clubs 2 year warranty had expired.
400.00 for a driver to last 3 years.
Needless to say im very disappointed in both service levels and club lifespan.
Suggested to TaylorMade that they take a look at the fault ......NOT INTERESTED.
I WILL NEVER BY TAYLORMADE AGAIN.
Now buying prematurely from one of there competitors, cobsider this post before parting with your hard earned cash.
Unhonored warranty
In 2021, I purchased my first ever full set of brand new clubs. After testing all the top brands, I chose Taylor Made. Supposedly, my clubs came with a 1 year warranty. Well, my driver head broke off of the shaft during a swing. I contacted the shop where I purchased my clubs. I was told the rep was coming in the next day and they would present it to them. They contacted me the next day and told me that the rep said they wouldn't honor the warranty because of "mishits" BS!! I saw that as a Grey area, a way to not honor their so called warranty. Lucky for me, the shop gave me a brand new shaft valued at $350. Not only did they lose my business but that shop got a taste of how they do business and will be warning all customers of that experience. I must say that I won't be purchasing anything else from Taylor Made and will let everyone I know about my experience and to avoid purchasing clubs from them. There are too many other companies out there to deal with that. SMH!

I recently bought a TM Stealth 2 4iron hybrid 22 degrees. I had my 2 hole in one with it!!!!
It was the 4th hole at Burhill new Surrey. 166 yards into a 2 club wind! PS I'm 68 with a 15.8 HCP.
Thank you TM

Taylormade M4 Iron set
I bought a set of Taylormade M4 Irons in June 23 by the beginning of July my 5 iron head came off during a round of golf, I contacted both Taylormade and American golf and was informed it would be 28 days possibly longer due to high demand to review my club, now in mid July and the same has also happened to my 7iron and 8 iron, I've taken them to a private repair specialist who advised this is a common issue with Tm, poor prep to the shaft when glueing into the hozzle, I've now paid for a private repair to all clubs, the shame is that the clubs themselves are very good and do give me greater distance and are forgiving but the build quality is terrible.
The shocking part though, is that American golf aren't showing any of the bad reviews from here, only the good ones, completely unethical.
