Ordered a taxi that refused to take me becuase my suitcase was too large for the car (Could have easily fit in the boot).
They then charged me a cancelation fee that cost more than the actual journey and I was left in the middle of nowhere. The driver wouldn't even help me order a bigger taxi, he just drove off.
Stunning service clearly...

Budapest: from A to B google maps is indicating 6 km
Taxi driver (T-01-7088/030885) is driving for 45km to go out of the city (double fare) and when the client (young ex-pat lady) is complaining, he says that he is following her indications... Only a phone call from a local is able to explain to the driver that he is definitely out of the requested route.
But the ride cost is automatically withdrawn from CC, more than 10 times the expected amount.
The taxi driver is charging for three different rides, probably waiting for the client reaction.
Support is not giving any support, just a standard email, impossible to talk with anyone, support desk says to use email only, email not answering.
They don't have a local company, the website is referring to Estonian law, the legal page is redirected to the home page, contact page by chance has no contact.

AVOID
AVOID. Shocking experience with driver and customer services. Did not pick me up at my location, instead waited a few minutes away but didn't call me to let me know. Had to call driver after seeing on the map he had been in one spot for a couple of minutes, and turns out he did not want to wait at the traffic lights to collect me so had parked up and wanted me to walk to him. Driver then decided he did not want to drop me at the drop off point, and instead pulled up 5 minutes walk away and told me the "buildings were too big", and to get out and walk and ask someone where to find the place instead. I insisted he followed the sat nav to my drop off, but instead he turned around and started driving away and around another block. I asked him to go back, which he did, but then he pulled up again and told me to walk. There were no one ways or no entry signs, so no reason why he could not have continued to the destination. Driver barely spoke English, was very aggressive, and rarely made any sense. As I was getting out, he was shouting angrily at someone on the phone saying he was on the way. I then had to walk to my destination 5 minutes away, making me late. I later saw that the price had increased from the estimated £13.50 to £17, and there was an extra 50p added for "waiting time" at collection! I contacted Bolt to let them know of my whole experience and how I wanted a partial refund for not being picked up or dropped off in the correct place (for no good reason), but all they could offer was a partial credit (first £3.50, then increased to £10). I explained I did not want a credit as I would not be using Bolt again, as they clearly don't screen/interview their drivers to ensure they are professional. They insisted their systems don't allow partial or even full refunds, so my only choice was to accept a partial credit which is useless to me. I am now disputing the payment with my card provider.
Awful experience - got scamed
App does not send proper directions to the driver, even if I clearly see myself on the map, exactly where I am, or the drivers sometimes ignore the pickup location for fraudulent reasons. Both happened to me in a single evening: first, a driver did not drive to the pickup location then tried to scam me into cancelling the ride (which I did not, as I new the scam; I walked to the car, and then he left before I could reach his location); and then, the driver arrived at a wrong location, then delayed reaching the correct one. After that, I was charged with a "wait fee" - when in fact I was the one waiting. I contacted Support via the app and they refuse to help - keep saying wait fees are automatic and cannot be refunded, and the system cannot be wrong (even if I explained what happened). I guess their "concern" here is a bunch of lies: support taxify eu/hc/en-us/articles/360008580940-Understanding-Driver-Fraud
Do not use BOLT
Do not use BOLT
Absolutely disgraceful. They turned up to the wrong road (think their gps isn’t working properly) I called the driver who confirmed he was 20 mins away and when I asked what will happen now with regards to making sure I don’t get charged for the journey etc he put the phone down on me. I’ve been in message battles with them ever since. They are not only refusing to refund me but have also charged a £6 cancellation fee on top of the journey fee.
An absolutely shocking company, stay away.

My son who's in hospital just got his bank statement come when I opened to sort his bills out for him. All I seen was loads and loads of bolt charges now many on each day .y sons under age and don't even have a phone. When I called customer services the asked me for the 6 numbers of his card details and last 6 and ex date silly I gave but at time I thought they would tell me a number of a person who's been having cabs but they couldn't give any info after 15 mins on hold now I feel I have fallen into a scam of some sort .hence the reasons for many small bold charges knowing you would call these people I stay stay clear

Never again! I am wondering if they are sending these people to some basic customer service training? Don’t use Bolt especially if you are woman and DO NOT TRAVEL by yourself!
Be aware when you book taxi that many of these drivers don’t use their real name, two of them admited themselves. This is dangerous company that put customers at risk!

Drivers avoid to work BOLT
I have no complaints
I have no complaints. Used BOLT for the first time last night. Driver was very polite, the car he had was lovely, the service was professional.
The app is awful
The app is awful. (BOLT)
it constantly (randomly) rejects my card (even though it has money in it and valid).
You order a trip, and just moments before the car arrives, the app cancels the order because it has rejected the bank card!! (even though the bank card is good).
for example: 1 trip it rejected my bank card.
another day it accepted the bank card.
and a week later it rejected this same card.
This is really bad as the app is NOT reliable.
I spoke to many drivers about this and they confirm that MANY journeys get cancelled because the app suddenly rejects the card (just 1 minute before the pick up time)
the App needs some major re-programming.
Wrong address and triple charged in Portugal
On 30/09/20 I booked a ride in Portugal from Lisbon Airport to Parede. The Driver (Tiago) arrived on time at 12:07. I gave him the address via a Google Maps Pin. However he took us to a different address, about 35kms away in the wrong direction. When we arrived there we realised it was wrong, the address we had given and was accepted for the journey was not on BOLT's map and it chose an address with the same road name in a different district . On arrival at the wrong destination he suggested cancelling the ride saying we would not be charged (€17) and then asked us to pay in cash for the new ride to the correct address using the directions on Google Maps on my phone. We agreed to this as we were in the middle of nowhere. He charged us €35. On my return to the UK, I saw the original ride had been charged as well. Now I cannot get back on to the Bolt app. I had forgotten my password and the system said it would send me a new one, but nothing has arrived.
Took money, but no cab
Ordered a cab through the bolt app, but the cab never showed up. But still took my money.. When I disputed it, they denied ever taking the money...will never use again
