NRLA recommend Taxd for any accountancy…

NRLA recommend Taxd for any accountancy advice but this company is impossible to contact and speak with. When I emailed taxd.co.uk I received an auto response saying the nrla group may not exist. When I go to Taxd's website you have to register and provide a lot of tax information. I quit at this point. I was hoping to use NRLA's Portfolio software along with Taxd services but I'm not prepared to sign up to a service without first confirming they can accommodate my particular circumstances. What is wrong with this world where you can't just talk to someone?

Following a discussion with Arj the Live chat and email has been fixed. Nice to have a company that responds to customer issues. Experience updated.

Fantastic service

Fantastic service. So quick and easy, even quicker second year with all of previous year info plugged in. They are available for questions and very friendly and knowledgable across different countries. Great complimentary masterclasses too.

Very simple step by step questions even for my complex situation

Very simple step by step questions that covered my non uk resident situation well. The tax due number came out as I expected (I should pay almost no UK tax) unlike my previous commercial software that I have been using for 15+ years! Only slight niggle is that navigation to the forms and calculations is not always there - it seems that you have to submit first and check afterwards. No problem if all is well obviously but in my case there was an error (mine) so I had to amend the return when I was able to check. I would really have preferred to check first. But all good in the end and overall a great service!

I was nervous to do my tax return…

I was nervous to do my tax return myself but I have such a small income that using accountants is expensive,
This app talked me through everything and there is a help section that explains everything if you don’t understand also it sends it straight to HMRC… yes 200% recommendations and I’m using next year..
