Their FSA management is terrible. They do not accept my EOBs for my dental work the first time, ever. This occurs over and over and over. TASC makes the problem worse by making it virtually impossible... See more

I am a physician
I am a physician. This company is a joke. When I call them I am on hold for at least 20 minutes every time. Their “service“ is by incompetent phone receptionists. Only when asking to speak to a manager, do I get someone who knows anything about what’s going on. Initially they canceled my service saying I had voluntarily opted to not receive services through them. This was certainly not the case and it took over a month to get this resolved. If it all possible, do not use this company.
DON'T USE THEM
We have used TASC for two years now. This will the last year we use them. The customer service is horrible and they need to be shut down.
Charge fees on account you can't use
My company stopped using TASC, thank goodness. When they stopped, I was sent an email 3 months later stating I could use the funds in any way. I tried to immediately online. Denied. Conveniently, TASC does not have a record of that. I thought it was the credit card issued and ordered a new card. Failed again. And again, no record. Then I noticed them charging me "maintenance fees" for a card I couldn't use. Called. No resolution. It was basically my problem. Called again after another maintenance fee. Again, my problem. First time I heard that I could received a check. Great. Send it. They didn't. Called again. Said could only see some of the attempted transactions. Claimed denied because sending a new card. Whatever. Promised they were sending a check this time. Wanting my banking info to send electronically. Try again. Still won't refund maintenance fees. They're basically theives. Over a 2 month issue with no resolution yet.
Denies claims and has the worst customer service
Denies claims (with no real explanation), and slow and useless customer service. And canceled our cards and they can’t explain why. I have had to bother our HR department to get answers. TASC is probably the lowest cost provider which is why they got chosen. Won’t be doing this next year for sure.
Every time a medical service is…
Every time a medical service is performed and you pay a simple co-pay or for treatment. Be prepared to submit the itemized receipt and even then you get scrutinized. Why are we having to do their job? Wont be using them again!
Terrible company, awful customer service, constantly denying claims
This is the WORST company potentially in American history, definitely in the healthcare and financial sectors. They are constantly denying claims for FSA eligible items (including medicine covered by my insurance and over the counter things like hydrocortisone cream). They also forced me to pay them back my rollover balance because "it was too early in the year to use it" despite it saying this NOWHERE.
Terrible customer service, no emotion, reading off a script, bad English. Often give conflicting information. Like talking to a wall. When you have issues, you have to call 3 times to get a straight answer.
I couldn't use them to buy important medication because "we don't use their payment system," whatever that means.
Time and again I'm going back and using my Optum HSA because it's 800 billion times better.
Avoid this company. You're better off not even having an FSA than dealing with them.
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY
Zero Stars would be a better representation for this company, one star is too high of a rating for them. Any company looking to utilize this company for the Health Care FSA accounts, please don’t it is a scam, and they are not here to improve anything for your employees just lining their pockets and holding employee’s money. I called in because I went for my annual eye exam and when I went to pay for services including new glasses my card was denied. This was the first time that I was needing to use my card, with money that I have been paying into my FSA account for the last 5 months. I was told that my card had been blocked because there was an issue with my address on file, the numbers were missing. Which was odd since I had obviously received my card at the address listed. I was told that a support ticket had been sent to their financial team to unblock my card, and it would take 1-2 business days to unblock (which I’m sure didn’t take 1-2 days to block; with a click of a button. I asked to speak to a supervisor and was told the same thing that there was nothing that they could do because they did not have a number to call the financial team to escalate the ticket any further, it would take the 1-2 business days to unblock the card. Needless to say, here it is 1-2 business days later and my card was still blocked, so I call back and low and behold a support ticket had not been done at all and miraculously they did not have any log showing where I had called in previously two days before. Once again, they tell me a support ticket will be issued and it will be 1-2 days before I can use my card, I ask once again to speak to a supervisor and they tell me that the only other option is for me to pay it out of pocket and submit a reimbursement claim, which totally nullifies the reason for having the account and a card to utilize the funds. He tells me it is just a convenience for me to have a card. Will this sure as heck is not convenient at all. My convenience now will be helping others to make sure they do not use these services at all and to avoid this headache and hassle from a company that is unwilling to support customers that are utilizing their services.
HORRIBLE COMPANY
Update: After leaving a review with the BBB, I was contacted by a supervisor from TASC. He listened to my complaint, and although I still disagree on the way they conduct business, we were able to work through somethings and get my bills paid. He explained how their process works and what I need to do each and every time I go to the Doctor or purchase something from the pharmacy or medical facility.
I agree with the others! If I could give 0 or negative stars I would!! I am tired of this company denying all claims until I send them the same information that I have sent multiple times!!! They have MY money!!! I am not borrowing money from them to pay my bills. Also, I don't think it is any of their business as to why I am getting a certain procedure done. This is private information and is being done at a medical office and I send proof every time!
I never had ANY trouble with the last company we used. I hope and pray they didn't sign a contract and that we use someone different next year!
I still don't agree on how hard they make things, but at least I made some progress with them.
0 star but that is not an option
I give a 0 star otherwise that would be my selection. By far the worst FSA group to work with. They allow you to pay for everything up front then pick and choose what they need receipts for even if the same dentist, doctor that they have covered in past transactions and will freeze your card until you provide receipt.. which most of the time they say they did not get or it's not the right one.. BUT never question a purchase at Walgreens or CVS for any amount which could include face wash and moisturizer??? but shut my card off for a charge at the dentist.. Every time I call I get a very miserable non helpful person that just repeats a vanilla "we need this or that" statement regardless of what I am trying to tell them. Literally the worst program, the worst customer service people.. 0 starts Tasc.. 0
They decline EVERY request for…
They decline EVERY request for reembursement! I provide receipts and credit card statements and prior authorization letters explaining procedures and they STILL decline with NO EXPLAINATION in their emails except to tell you there's insufficient documentation. Over and over, same problem. What a hassel to get reembursed! You have to wait a month or more for your EOB from your insurance company and it seems like that will work. But it shouldn't be necessary. The docs I provide clearly show the medical need. Moreover, they tought themselves as providing easy, hassel free claims! What a joke! TERRRIBLE! Will complain to my HR department to find another fsa provider.
no benefits > dealing with TASC
My experience with TASC has been negative and stressful. From the beginning, this company made it unnecessarily difficult to get legitimate claims processed or paid. Valid claims were denied without proper cause, and when issues were raised, TASC conveniently blamed technical “errors” in their system rather than taking accountability. Even after admitting that their platform had ongoing issues (such as submitted documents showing up blank on their end), TASC refused to offer a formal apology or take ownership of the disruption and hardship their failures caused.
Instead of proactively helping participants, TASC placed the full burden back on me, forcing me to submit multiple support requests, follow up repeatedly, and essentially chase after money that I was fully entitled to under my benefits plan. The customer service I received was consistently dismissive, condescending, and evasive. TASC minimized my concerns, ignored the stress and inconvenience they caused, and made no real effort to correct the root problem in a meaningful way. It became crystal clear that TASC’s system is designed to frustrate participants, delay payments, and discourage people from pursuing reimbursements. Their platform is unreliable, their communication is poor, and their overall business practices appear to prioritize minimizing payouts over serving their participants fairly. A company that manages healthcare and financial benefits should operate with the highest level of professionalism, transparency, and accountability TASC has failed in all of these areas.
If you are considering TASC for benefits administration, I strongly urge you to look elsewhere. Participants deserve a company that operates with honesty, efficiency, and respect. Based on my experience, TASC cannot be trusted to deliver on any of these basic expectations. Their dismissive attitude, poor systems, and unwillingness to take responsibility for serious errors make them a company I would strongly advise others to avoid.
If I could give zero stars
If I could give zero stars, I would. Something is really going on at this place and it's not good. After going back and forth with several incompetent employees of this company over what I believe to be illegal assessment of fees to my cash account, I requested what remained of my funds be returned to me before any more funds were taken from me. I requested my funds on January 13 and by April 21 (well over the 6-8 week window in which they say I should receive my funds) I still do not have my funds. Perhaps I should be charging them interest/fees? Then when I requested a reissuance of the check, rather than looking up my previous request, they asked for me to submit yet another support request with all my information and the amount and date of the original request. These people do not want to help their customers with anything and they will do everything they can to drag you as far as possible down the road. I just want my money and then will never have anything to do with these people again...unless of course a class action lawsuit is opened against them. I wouldn't be surprised....They are that bad. Do not do business with them. You will regret it.
If I could give this company no stars...
If I could give this company no stars, I would.
I am HR Manager for a business which has had flex spending for more than 20 years, and prior to moving to TASC, we NEVER had issues with the providers swiping the card and that being all that was needed to confirm expenses. With TASC, EVERY doctor/hospital/pharmacy we use (that we have used before) is requiring that employees do more legwork to get information from the providers to verify that the expenses were eligible. SERIOUSLY? No one is going to go to an OB/GYN for a NON-ELIGIBLE reason. DO NOT USE TASC FOR FSA/HSA because it is a nightmare.
This is the worst flexible spending…
This is the worst flexible spending account ever and they will never get another dime from me!!! They ask for my receipts from Dr. visit i sent the receipt they gave from the visit and that's not enough. They want codes that a patient doesn't have. CLEARLY THE DR. NAME IS ON THE RECIEPT WITH PHONE NUMBER!!
I have had a terrible experience with…
I have had a terrible experience with TASC FSA. Their customer service is completely unhelpful, with long wait times and representatives who seem to have no real solutions. Submitting claims is a nightmare—their system is outdated, and they constantly request additional documentation, even when everything is already provided. Payments take forever to process, and they have denied legitimate claims for no clear reason.
On top of that, their website is glitchy and difficult to navigate, making it frustrating to manage my account. I’ve had to call multiple times just to resolve simple issues, and each time, I get different answers from different representatives. This company makes using an FSA way more stressful than it should be.
If you’re considering TASC for your FSA, I highly recommend looking elsewhere. The hassle and poor customer service are simply not worth it.
Seems easy but once you sign up...
Seems easy but once you sign up, they require proof of most expenses. If you don't send exactly what they want, even though it's sufficient, they deny it but don't tell you why. Then if you take the time to get what they need, they send threatening emails (no reply of course) that the card will be locked. It's MY MONEY! I'm reconsidering and just opting to pay as I go with medical bills. NOT WORTH THE HASSLE.
horrible system and not user friendly…
horrible system and not user friendly at all. Seems the goal is to deny as many claims as possible. Long wait times, old style of doing everything no payments online and long time to resolve any issues.
Pay the Provider? Doesn't work. LOL
I submitted MULTIPLE invoices, separately, under "Pay the Provider." They basically refuse to Pay the Provider because they deny every one and deposit it as a reimbursement. I don't need reimbursed because I have not paid the provider. I am asking THEM to pay the provider using THEIR tools to do so. I didn't mean to sign up for this FSA through my employer and I will never again, ESPECIALLY with this company.
I wish I could give zero stars or maybe…
I wish I could give zero stars or maybe negative 100 stars. I throughly despise the company, their products, their resolution team, their customer care. My TASC card keeps getting declined. They do nothing about it. I put money aside for transit. Each transaction I make i have to submit a receipt so I can get reimbursed, otherwise I can’t use my transit dollars. Sometimes I have lost my paper tickets and then that’s it. EMPLOYERS FOR THE LOVE OF ANYTHING GOOD, DO NOT PUT YOUR EMPLOYEES THROUGH THIS INCOMPETENCE.
